The URL clearly shows this as going online back in the summer of 2006, but hey, my friend just spotted it and I knew nothing about it myself . . . plus, its in in a similar vein of what Lurker posted earlier this week:

Wingless: I believe I originally signed up on TVShowsonDVD back in 2002 . . . before I even first found Station 8 (and it'd be years later before I started lurking the CR), but I have definitely been voting for shows like Gargoyles and been paying attention to which ones getting a go ahead for release.

Of course, its rare to see shows that got a few initial releases before stopping midway to get a second look, but I have seen the occasional restart, most recently with Boy Meets World, Disney stopped releasing after the third season, but years of fan support/bugging/Disney willing to license it out to Lionsgate (who proceeded to rerelease the first three before delving into the fourth, fifth, and sixth) actually got the DVD back on track ( . . . the final season comes out next month I think).

It's not much, and there's of course different factors with each respective show, but I believe its still something :)

Battle Beast: I've been watching the Disney XD edits of Gargoyles and, having not seen the show pretty much 5 or more years, the edits are, in most cases painfully obvious(then again, this is from someone who watched it over and over when it was on back in the day). The censoring of the word "Terrorist" in City of Stone pt 1 and the speargun shot into Oberon in The Gathering pt 2 were among the most painful(Although cutting Hudson constructing a torch and lighting it didn't make sense eather).

On another note: for those who would maybe like to see more Gargoyles on DVD, another way might be through tvshowsondvd.com. They have a running vote for the "Most wanted shows on DVD" Some of the shows that are in the top 10-like "The Wonder Years" are there because of costly music rights issues, but at number 8 on the list is "You Can't Do That On Televison"-a show that was produced here in Ottawa(it's insane why that hasn't been put out, but anyway). My point is, UCDTOTV has 2697 votes, Gargoyles currently has 1944 votes. You do have to sign up to the site to vote, but it's not a big deal to do. Studios do take notice. I know, Disney isn't your typical studio-they're stubborn & hard headed, but every little bit helps. Just a thought.

TheGeek: EXTREMELY cool list! I especially liked that you took the time to plug the DVDs (and in "Gargoyles" case, the trade paperbacks as well) of several of the listed series.

Though if the point of the list is taking the series from a geek's perspective, then I feel obligated to point out that it's "Spider-Man." With a hyphen. ;)

I know I'm preaching to the choir but Gargoyles, Spectacular Spiderman, and Young Justice all made a list of "Top 10 Cartoons for Geeks both Young and Old" http://www.squidoo.com/thegeeklens-cartoons

It *IS* my blog/list, but I'm just posting this to share the "yeah!" moment for the community.

Greg B.: Amusing, to be sure...but wouldn't that technically apply to pretty much every superhero? XD

I jsut watched Ill Met by Moonlight.

A few weeks ago someone mentioned that there were some bad cuts in the episode (from Toon Disney, I think) and one was right when Elisa says, "He didn't look to thrilled when I pulled my piece." Is this where the cut is? and what line/lines are missing?

Friday, September 16th, 2011 is going to be a great day with the premieres of not only "Young Justice", but also "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". So with both of those episodes and most likely a new "ThunderCats" episode airing as well, Friday nights just got a whole lot more awesome! :-)

GREG B> Or Macbeth just knows Demona well enough to understand how plausible the idea of her completely alienating the last of her clan really is

RJ> No, but Macbeth is a very perceptive man. If he thought for a second Goliath was lying, he'd react as such.

GB> It's retarded to assume your enemy is lying to you or bluffing?

RJ> <<I remember wondering when I watched "Enter Macbeth" why Macbeth took Goliath at his word that Demona was their enemy. It was the truth, but why didn't he consider it was a ruse of Goliath's to protect Demona or a way to negate Macbeth's scheme?>>

Because Macbeth is not clinically retarded.

I remember wondering when I watched "Enter Macbeth" why Macbeth took Goliath at his word that Demona was their enemy. It was the truth, but why didn't he consider it was a ruse of Goliath's to protect Demona or a way to negate Macbeth's scheme? Then again, Macbeth knows Demona has a way of turning beings against her, so it may not have been too difficult to believe.

**breaks out the party hats**

Oh wait . . . Greg gets through these queues a lot quicker than he did five-plus years ago, lol . . .

**puts hats back under the cookie table**

That said, I'm kinda bummed that I haven't managed to finish Captain Atom yet -- I had a hope to do one healthy ramble on Captain Nathaniel Adam and company (I'm about halfway through the series) . . . maybe I'll just post my initial thoughts on the series, plus my take on "The Flashback of Notre Dame". :)

Lurker: Even out of context (as I've never read that comic before now), that's hilarious d:

**Looks around for Todd** So, I was visiting one of the local libraries in Raleigh, North Carolina, and standing on the halfway of the open staircase was a 8-foot tall knight made of metal street signs, sword and all. Knowing one of the typical reflective colors street signs usually have, you can probably guess which Arthurian character immediately came to my mind. ;)

(I'll hope to remember grabbing a picture with it the next time I drop by!)

Aaaaaaand the queue is officially empty! :D

And according to Greg W., the next ten episodes of Season 2 have officially been approved to move into production. So, the news is fairly good all-around, I'd say.
