I guess that not everything that David Xanatos obtains will be an important plot point later, and while Greg confirmed that he kept the wedding gift from his father, that doesn't necessarily mean that Alexander would.

Do you guys think that a simple American penny, minted circa 1995, would be worth much in 2198?

Wingless - Nope, rerun.

Was there no new Young Justice episode this weeek?

Battle Beast - Between http://www.midtowncomics.com and http://www.tfaw.com/ I'm usually able to find what I want. I don't know about Canada though. Amazon has a lot of trade paperbacks too.

Does anyone know of an online comic shop? my local comics stores do not sell the Disney books I'd like to buy...

As far as I know, Matt hasn't been in pursuit of the Illuminati since "Revelations," when he joined them.

He didn't tell anybody since then that he was an Illuminatus, either.

Paul - [nampahcfluap@yahoo.com]

I don't have my comics with me right now (I'm at my parents' house and they're at my other home), but is Matt Bluestone still in pursuit of the Illuminati? I'm trying to figure out if that's in character for him.

Todd>
I'm sure that what happened to the Muddlefoots is reversible, but it was still...very disturbing. And funny at the same time, just to see Launchpad and Morgana's reactions. Funny and scary.

CHIP -
I'd thought that the "Duckthulhu Rising" story would be "Lovecraft Lite" (to use the TV Tropes term), in light of what I knew of Darkwing, but your mention of the fate of the Muddlefoots has made me less certain of that. Though I'm still certain that it'll end up with Darkwing foiling the rise of Duckthulhu, rather than being driven mad like a Lovecraftian protagonist.
Todd Jensen - [merlyn1@mindspring.com]

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to comment on Darkwing #10 and Young Justice #2.
Darkwing and F.O.W.L. Tons of fun, I really like the character of Femme, and the Duckthulufied Muddlefoots was...terrifying.
As for Young Justice:
I hate monkeys.
'Nuff said.

Kris: They did fix the mistakes in the Trades, though if I remember correctly there was a timestamp issue that was found in Issue #9 (which was only ever released in the Trade) -- very frustrating, cause mistakes found in "Reunion" (fyi, it was in Tibet) and anywhere else were already spotted and corrected.

I'll also second that if you want to own any of the comics, you're best bet is just to buy the available Trades.

And funny enough to mention Spider-Man, Antiyonder . . . I was waiting for ages in hopes that we'd see a complete second season set for The Spectacular Spider-Man . . . finally, last year during the holidays I just said 'screw it' and bought Volumes Five through Eight. Not as pretty as my complete first season set and no, there's no bonus features, but seriously, whatevs.

Frankly I ultimately had to realize that -- unlike my Gargoyles collection forever lacking a 'Season II: Volume II' -- I actually had a chance to own the complete Spidey d:

Kris> I only ask because for the first time in a long while, SLG has solicited Clan Building volumes 1 and 2 for pre-order again (well, more accurately, a re-order, under Previews' "Offered Again" heading). I own the individual issues from way back (for both series) and I bought the Bad Guys trade to get the rest of that story, but I never got to finish Clan Building.

I don't wanna buy the two trades, only to see SLG release a superior hardcover in the near future (larger/proper size, likely more content and potentially new story pages--rare that that happens with trades, but frequently enough to encourage me to wait sometimes).

For one thing, it seems like Boom is the best chance for a Gargoyles revival as their Disney Afternoon titles do well. BTW, for anyone reading, how has Chip N Dale been doing as far as sales go?

Second, Gargoyles isn't like Spider-Man where the franchise is successful despite some unsold products. If we want more Gargoyles, then we need to buy any product that we can afford.

Algernon's comment about Norman Osborn: One of the neat things about Dark Reign is that it gives Osborn the chance to expand his horizons beyond tormenting a twenty nine year old who still lives with his mom.

Oh yeah, forgot--did they fix the mistakes in the trades ? (I think a repetition of panels and/or pages in the Coldstone--was it in Mongolia?--one-of story, plus some spelling and/or grammar here and there, from what I vaguely recall).

Are the folks at Slave Labour Graphics planning a hardcover of their Gargoyles comics ? Either a compilation of Clan-Building (it'd be nice to get it the size of the individual comics, rather than the digest-size that the trade paperbacks/softcover collections came in), or an all-in-one that'd also include Bad Guys ?

Anyone heard anything one way or the other ? I know SLG can no longer publish NEW Gargoyles comics, but they still have the rights to go hog-wild with reprints/collections, right ?

I read 4 weeks back, just in case this already came up. Didn't spot it.

Good time to get the word out to those who frequent comic shops. Yeah, the trades are probably still available on SLG's website and maybe still in stock at Amazon as well (didn't check yet), but sometimes it's a lot cheaper through your comic shop (member discounts, mine charging U.S. cover price instead of Canadian--not to mention the opportunity to shop local/support struggling shops).
