Reminds me of a children's graphic novel series from a few years back, "Knights of the Lunch Table", which reimagined the Arthurian legend in a middle school setting, with Arthur, Gawain, Percival, and Guinevere as students at Camelot Middle School, Merlin as a teacher, and the Sword in the Stone as a mysterious locker that only Arthur can open. In one of the books, Arthur is trying to uncover a mystery about a rock singer who'd attended the school as a boy, and Merlin supplies him with a cassette tape connected to his songs; Arthur is bewildered by the cassette tape and can't seem to figure out how to use it. That part definitely made me feel old as well.b

I hear that!

Oh dear...maths.

BTW, it looks like blogger Vrai Kaiser, probably best known for his episode recaps on the website The Mary Sue, has begun a recap series for a rewatch of "Gargoyles."

So far, "Awakening Parts 1-4" have gotten reviewed, with promise of the whole series eventually. Generally speaking, I've been enjoying them a lot, so I figured it couldn't hurt to link 'em here.

That Ryuko, my family said, she's got a great rack! We were all talking about what a slamming body you have! So perk up, and stop getting embarassed! Rip your clothes off, and get NAAAAKEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!"

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

And away we go on with the show! 0
