What are you? Simple? Those are spam accounts. They can't even edit without administrator rights. No one besides you lot gives a fucck about Gargoyles...

Why is GargWiki getting so many new user accounts? It's been so long since we last got a new "Gargoyles" story (when Slave Labor Graphics' comic ended) that there's barely anything to do now except perform technical edits on the entries. Hardly the kind of environment to produce a flood of volunteers.

MATTHEW> There is a real village called LiscooLEY in Co. Donegal just on the Republic's side of the border. I've always assumed Liscoo was intended to be a fictionalized version of it.

Going back to Hound of Ulster, I don't think they even mention where in Ireland it takes place within the episode. We only get the name Liscoo from the wiki and that's not even a real town. There's always the possibility that it's located somewhere in the former province of Ulster in northern Ireland but we have no guarantee on that. I only bring this up because until we know where it takes place we have no idea what politics might be brought up.

Whenever I end up collecting those DA issues I'll make new, complete scans myself.

I wonder if Greg Weisman got far enough in his planning "Heroes of Ulster" to consider that aspect (though it's certainly a good question). It never made the original spin-off document that he shared back around 1996-97, so it might have been only a glimpse in his thought. I know "The Hound of Ulster" itself didn't bring up those issues, although there obviously wasn't enough room in that half-hour episode for that.

Is there an archive for the old Disney Adventures Gargoyle comics? I was trying to read them but the links on this wiki are dead. I wonder if anyone here has them saved

Interesting question. In-universe, it would be starting around the time of the Good Friday Agreement. I wonder whether that would have featured. I tend to think the series would have largely steered clear of modern political conflicts, especially since we're talking about heroes from another age, but it might have informed the background. And Greg hasn't shied away from depicting terrorism -- we still don't know, I believe, the motives of the "City of Stone" terrorist.

Thinking about Heroes of Ulster again. It occurs to me, we've never stopped to consider how Greg plans to address the more... political realities of setting a superhero action show in (or at least very close to) modern Northern Ireland?

If you've ever taken a road trip through the Pacific northwest, you've probably seen a bumper sticker for a place called Gravity Falls. It's not on any maps, and most people have never heard of it. Some people think it's a myth. But if you're curious, don't wait. Find it. It's out there somewhere in the woods. Waiting.

There's really only one way to post for fourth after a certain announcement last week:

Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Superboy!
