Just one more question, if I may? Do you think that there will ever be another Gargoyles series?

Greg responds...

I hope so.

I own the complete first season and volume 1 of the second season DVDs, but they seem to be missing a couple episodes. The episodes where Coldstone and Thailog are created never happen. THe episides where they show up have "Last Time on Gargoyles" flashbacks showing scenes from the episodes of their creation, but the actual episodes aren't there. Why not and where can I get them?

Greg responds...

You have store bought DVDs, but you're missing episodes?

I have no explanation for that. My copies have all the episodes.

To evade confusion, Rtkat3 is my screen name. Sorry I didn't put my real name down.

Greg responds...

It's okay.

When it comes to Iron Man's enemies, Spider-Man has fought Blacklash, Dreadknight, and Grey Gargoyle. Imagine if there was an issue where Spider-Man encountered the Mandarin.

Greg responds...

Imagine.

To follow up on a question received on this site on Sat, August 02, 2008 05:50:34 PM, I forgot to list Hydro-Man for a possible appearance.

As a supporter of your work on The Spectacular Spider-Man, a possible season featuring him meeting other heroes should feature him working with them to fight other bad guys with examples being Fantastic Four villains Doctor Doom and Wizard (Sandman used to work for Wizard's Frightful Four), X-Men villain Magneto (a reimaging for the show could result in a crossover with the upcoming X-Men series), Captain America villain Red Skull, Daredevil villain Owl (of course you can also establish a Daredevil series with Cam Clarke reprising the title role and attempt to obtain Kingpin for that), Thor villain Loki, and Namor villain Tiger Shark. I don't recall which enemies of the Hulk that Spider-Man had fought.

Of course, you can always establish a Marvel Team-Up series.

When it comes to Sally Avril, I found info that she was Spider-Man's would-be partner Bluebird who was killed in a wreck caused by Spider-Man's battle with the Black Knight.

Greg responds...

I'm not at all interested in turning THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN into "a Marvel Team-Up series". That sounds like it would be a fun show. But THAT is not THIS show.

What would Demona do if she knew how Elisa Maza stopped Macbeth from killing her, and how she told Angela that she was her mother when Goliath refused to do so?

Greg responds...

Let's find out...

Someday.

Tad Stones has said in several interviews and podcast and stuff, that now that Disney has stopped making "cheapquels" to their animated movies, that should instead make direct-to-video movies continuing the old Disney Afternoon shows, which the people who watched the shows as children could watch with their own children. I wonder if such films would commercially viable, and if Disney Animation big shots (like Roy Disney, John Lasseter, Don Hahn, and others) would even want to continue the legacy of the Disney Afternoon. What do you think?

Greg responds...

I think it would be great, but I have no idea if Disney is interested.

How many of their senses do the coldtrio have in their robotic bodies? I mean, they can obviously can hear and see, but can they smell or feel?

Greg responds...

They have no sense of smell or taste. There sense of touch exists, but is limited to pressure, heat, etc. There is no subtlety.

I have two questions about gargoyle homosexuality:

We know there are homosexual male gargoyles, but are there any lesbians?

How do homosexual gargoyles fit into the gargoyle social structure? Do they face any difficulties socially because of their sexual orientation, either similarly or unexpectedly different from humans?

Greg responds...

1. Yes.

2. I've answered this many times before. Check the archives under either Gargoyle Biology or Gargoyle Customs.

With the recent comic book release, with Maggie's 'announcement' (yay for them!), has it been considered to possibly throw a baby shower for her at the next gathering, with any 'presents' being donated to local charities? It could be a pretty fun bash... I won't ask if it might be a double-baby shower, but at the least it could be fun for fans of Maggie and Talon. :)

Greg responds...

Sounds great to me. You should suggest it to the organizers of the Gathering.
