Greg, I was reading you're welcome letter and I noticed a mistake in it...you said you were the creator and producer Gargoyles, but you misspelled producer, you have "produser". Just thought you should know.

Greg responds...

Thanks. I noticed that long ago -- but I don't know how to fix it. I also don't think I mispelled it (though it's certainly possible). Gore, was that me or you?

OK, this is nothing, but why is the server's time on my last message read 6:29, when it is 10:00 here? It has always usually been accurate to my clock in previous posts. Even if there's a time zone differential, it's a half-hour ahead.

Greg responds...

Man, are you askin' the wrong guy.

Gore, you out there?

(Didn't think so.)

I've been wondering recently if it might not be a bad idea to put up an "Ask Greg" FAQ page on this site. It's struck me for a while now that you seem to be getting many of the same questions over and over (such as the whole business of why you left after Season Two or if "Gargoyles" will ever get brought back), and this page could be a good way of dealing with that. What do you think?

Greg responds...

I'm all for it. But how do we build it?

matt told me that the garg off to the right on the latest responses page (holding the surfboard) is of Brooklyn, which I sort of can make out better now (considering that I first thought that it was your drawing of your garg-self when I first found this site). Anyways, what is the deal with the thing on his shirt?

(Stupid question, I'm expecting a smart-ass response to this)

Greg responds...

No smart ass answer. No answer at all, actually. I didn't design the site. Gorebash did. You'd have to ask him.

Greg, about what Titania whispered to Fox: you know what she said, right? so if we just started asking you "Did Titania say:......." it wouldn't be considered submiting ideas, right?

Greg responds...

Yes. It would.

The fact that I know already, changes nothing. I can't prove that I know already.

And if one of you should guess right, than that person could get pissed if he or she thinks I stole the line.

Not that I mind separate posts for separate topics, but doesn't that amount to more questions, take up more of your time, and ultimately make the privilege you offer us harder to make possible?

(Not to mention that a few of us look especially answer-hungry? :)

Greg responds...

It doesn't significantly take up any more time. The time is spent answering questions, not clicking on posts.

And having separate topics on the same post, creates numerous problems.

1. makes for exhaustingly long answers.

2. And difficulty in archiving.

3. Hard to fit questions on my screen.

4. Hard to just sit down and answer a couple questions when I have a spare moment.

5. Logjams.

Greg, who is "matt"? Do you know him personally? "matt", if you're reading this, why do ask Greg so many questions? I hate to be the backseat driver here, but must you require a logical explanation for everything? Mr. Spock would think so, but geez man...

Oh, yes, and Gorebash, I know you will read this...I might be the only person just to ask how do you handle all these questions? You must be damn good at your job! Keep up the good work. I hope this gets posted. (Elvis has left the building...)

Greg responds...

I don't know matt personally. But he's entitled to ask as many questions as he wants. I'm entitled to dodge as many as I feel like. Why?

Gorebash, I believe, has largely turned over the responsibility of reviewing questions to Todd Jensen. Todd does a great job at keeping up. Better than me.

I'm sorry to put this on this page instead of sending it directly to Gore- but I figure other people should be aaware of this. I have been getting tons of SPAM for a while- and this is really the only place my e-addy is to be found on the web. I think a SPAM bot has been having a field day here. Since I have no intention of stopping to ask questions here, and I think leaving my address so people can return comment is in a way a curtesy, I am going to replace the @ with a ! so it wont flag the bot. I suggest anyone else having problems to the same. Gore- if this is not an easy search and replace algorithym please ignore this suggestion, but would it be possible to do that throughout the archives as well?

Greg, I am sorry not to actually be asking you anything- but that would be two topics in one e-mail:)

Greg responds...

Uh. okay.

Heya, Greg!

This isn't really a question.. but I wanted to inform you that there's a typo on your intro in the first page.. it says "produser," when it's "producer," or "producers"..

You fixed this on the Questions Answered page.. but apparently forgot this one. :P

Man! I finally got that off my chest.. it's been driving me nuts! :P

Well, thank you for your time. :)

Greg responds...

Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't correct it. Could you e-mail Gorebash and let him know?

Finally...

The queue is again empty.

But this time, I don't think Todd has fallen behind. I think finally, after, what, three years, I have caught up. Completely, totally, caught up.

I know it won't last. Won't even last a day, probably. But let me revel in the moment.

I'm caught up. I'm caught up. YES!

Just updated the queue again; sorry about that. I guess that I underestimated your speed at going through the questions.

Greg responds...

Just call me Speedy. Or Kid Flash. Whatever.

The queue is empty....

Does this mean I'm finally, finally all caught up?

Or does it mean that Todd is slipping?

I'll leave that to you to decide.

You said: <<I thought I'd never get through "June 27"! Were you guys having a contest of your own that day to see how many questions you could post? >>

LOL! No. It's just that it was that day when i happened to have enough time to repost all those lost questions - so posts of a whole week or so ended up compressed in a single day... :-)

Greg responds...

Yeah. I knew that. I was just whining.
