I apologise ahead of time, this is not an "artful" or creative question, but assuming I have hit an educated site, I am in need of information. I am in possession of 3 cels and numerous Gargoyle merchandise, and have an immediate need to sell them. I am humiliated, but we are down to 3 dollars and need to find a venue fast. I have no idea what they are worth, but would at least like a direction where they will be appreciated. We lost all ina fire and the insurance reneged. These items were stored specially with other like items so we are lucky to have them, but they are not saleable locally. Any suggestions would be helpful...thank you...and your site is great..my grown son is an artist and has long been a fan..

Regarding action figures. I'm a collector of the Gargoyles action figure line and a fan of the cartoon. There is a knock-off action figure line that was released around the same time as gargoyles that have He-man type bodies. I have 4 of them. Do you know the name of this action figure line?

2. Does SLG have any plans for Gargoyles action figures or statues? (I assume Disney would be involved in any merchandising as well, might make things difficult?)

Hi Greg, I am interested in seeing some of the early character designs for the Gargoyles characters. Is there anywhere online that we can view them? And if not, could you possibly make them available?

Also I have been thinking about the upcoming trade paperback. TPBs sometimes have extras in the back, so if you don't make the character designs available online, is this something you might put in the TPB?

I know all about the drama that involves Season 2 Vol. 2 and getting Disney/BVHE to release them, so I'll spare you that much. However, I would like to know the following: Is there an alternative to purchasing said second half of the season, or has one even exisited in the past? You know, like that big black thing with the magnetic tape called VHS that is going out of style now?

Hey! I sent in a journal on my non-gathering perspective of the Gathering of the Gargoyles weekend (I went to Disneyland instead). You wrote at the end of one of my journals, "And thatnk you. Don't suppose you saw any Gargoyles walking around... or Gummi Bears... or Darkwing Duck?" I have two things to say to that. First, I didn't see any of those characters walking around, but I did find a Gargoyles trading pin at California Adventure. I'm a big pin collector, and when I found it, I was stunned, shocked, extatic… yeah, all those words work. I hadn't even known that they'd made one (which is even more cool is that there were actually two of them there, the only two I have so far seen in my Disneyland pin trading history… I only took one of them though). I got my mom to trade one of her pins for it (it wasn't on sale; you had to actually trade for it) since I didn't have one to trade at the time. The pin is of Goliath standing in front of a moon with the title "Gargoyles" on it. It is my favorite pin so far, and will most likely remain my favorite for a very long time.

Second, I want to thank you for saying thank you to me. I've been having a pretty crummy day today (one thing being that I won't be able to get the 5th comic book for a very long time, along with a lot of other stuff) and hearing the thank you, that kind of made it a bit better. I guess you never really know what a few kind words will do for someone. Thanks for that.

Thank you for giving us a wonderful series. Anyway...I'm still hoping to eventually see Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD, but while doing a websearch for any new news I saw a website advertising a "complete 3 seasons with 78 episodes on 5 DVDs" set. I'm not posting a link here because if the set isn't authorized, as I suspect, I don't really want to inadvertently point people to it.

Is this in any way likely to be something that's legal, and if not, what course of action would you suggest be taken?

Wow! Having just read issue 3 of the comic, I must say... I was astounded! I have had my reservations about the first issues, mostly because I was uncertain of the pacing of it all. But now, things are moving briskly, but we are still seeing flashes of our characters, even when they appear only briefly in an issue. It was amazing finally seeing NEW story progression after all these years!

In the letters page, you mentioned the idea of audio comics, and let me tell you... I'd pay a very reasonable (maybe even unreasonable) price to be able to listen to this issue read in the original voice actors' voices... but I suppose we should always have something to fight for out here in Garg fandom.

My question, at last- Since issues 1 and 2 equated roughly to one 22 minute episode... do you have any sort of fixed guideline you follow in a pages to minutes conversion? Does issue 3 feel like a 22 minute episode to you, or just part of one? I'm just curious, and I know that in teh long run my question's really rather irrelevant.

Thanks for making it so easy to keep having faith in the Gargoyles Universe, Greg! And if we ever get Season 2 Volume 2 on DVD, you better be at the front of every episode with introductions again. I loved those and found them charming, not goofy (as someone once commented here... or was that you?)

Have you ever thought about writing some novels based on the series? I figured the creator would have thought of something along those lines. at least to continue the story as you envisioned it.
