I was wondering about the Light's goals. You had us believe that every member is on the same page in regards to their objective: the betterment of mankind. You've also stated that like "real life villains", the members of the Light don't see themselves as such. And in truth, they don't want to "destroy the world" like most cliched villains. They want to elevate it and have THEIR WORLD rule the cosmos. (Surely they want to be at the top of that leather) So, their goal seems well-intentioned (if you overlook the whole "by every means necessary" thing. However, they're not the most scrupulous and noble of people on the planet. Individually, they are power hungry and petty. Ocean Master, for one, is envious of his brother and judging by the two-parter issue, he wants to grab power to himself.

So I guess my question is: are the members of the Light truly working towards the betterment of mankind or do some of them only play along because the Light itself is a means to an end (to gain more power and/or squash their rivals)?

I wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed Young Justice, Spectacular Spider-Man and the first two books of the Rain of the Ghosts series. Your writing helped inspire me to try my hand at fiction writing and, after a couple of years, I now have my first novel published. Been reading through quite a bit of answers you give on here about YJ for quite some time and finally worked up the nerve to ask something! However its kinda a meta thing.

So I notice that some of the times when people ask you something kinda random, you answer with "No Spoilers" because i assume you might want to cover it in the future on the show.

Personally, whenever someone asks something like that, and you reply with "No Spoilers" it gives me hope. I truly wonder if that's what you mean to do when you answer it that way? Truly admire you Mr. Weisman and we miss you on Twitter!

Hello, in S1 Episode 23, Red Arrow gets in a fight with Sportsmaster, and despite having his bow broken he seems to do quite well, getting Sportsmaster in a hold before Klarion teleported them away. Was Sportsmaster holding back against Roy (cause he didn't wanna hurt the mole), or is Roy actually good enough to match Sportsmaster in hand to hand? Because it always seemed like Roy wasn't even as good as Cheshire in hand to hand, and he got wrecked by Batman, so just curious. It's not super important, but I like debating who would win type battles, and any extra info helps

Hey, this might be more specific than you remember, but I was wondering, in S1 Episode 6, Aqualad gets snagged by Black Spider and pulled up into the tree, there's a scuffle, and Aqulaad gets sent flying from the tree into a van (a very impressive hit). Was it Black Spider who hit him like that, or was it Cheshire (who seemed to be with Black Spider, since she came out with him)? I understand if you don't remember, but I figured may as well ask

I have some questions about Aquaman and the other Atlanteans of Young Justice.

I've read your previous responses to questions about Atlantean powers and you stated that Auqaman was "way stronger than your average Atlantean" and placed him in your GENERAL ranking of the Justice League by strength on the same level as Captain Atom and Martian Manhuner. You later stated that "off the top of your head" he was IN GENERAL stronger than Martian Manhuner and then, later still, that Martian Manhunter cannot lift a semi-truck but could "probably" lift a small car.

Again, as an avid reader of your site and SUPER FAN of your work I know you HATE to strength comparison questions and being asked to specify strength things. That is why I won't ask you for specifics or to compare, but it seems that, from what I've seen of your previous responses, that eventhou you don't keep weight limit SPECIFISCS in your mind, you do have a GENERAL idea of what the characters you write can lift. I won't ask for a list or anything I just want to know:

1. Can Aquaman lift a tank or semi-truck, or is he closer to small car? Maybe a pick-up truck?

I'm asking this question because you've said that your Young Justice characters of Universe-16 were back to their "original" power levels and I have read comics wherein Auqaman has thrown a tank at The Fisherman. I've also read older comics wherein he was basically the "Superboy" of the Justice League as far as strength and invulnerablity. Just looking for clarity.😀

2. While Auqagirl and Tempest were on the team did you they use a device to allow them to carry around water like Auqalad's waterbear "backpack sheeth" or was their level of scorcery and magic skill great enough that they didn't need anything?

3. Could they magically summon water to them for their spells or am I wrong in assuming that their or all Atlantean magic requires water?

I played Young Justice: Legacy and the Tempest DLC didn't seem to have any type of water apparatus. I'm asking you because you've stated that not ALL of the game was cannon.

4. In Uiverse-16 is Aquaman's super atlantean skin stronger enough to make him bulletproof or just bullet resistant?

5.This last question is about Wonder Woman. On the Young Justice website it lists invulnerability as one of her powers. I've always wondered, if she's invulnerable, why block bullets with her bracelets? Doesn't invulnerable and bulletproof go hand in hand? I mean, she can go "toe to toe" with super strong opponents like Devastation, but if someone shoots her in the head she dies? What's the deal? Any in universe explanation?

Those last three questions under number five are rhetorical.😮

In "Young Justice," if Atlantis is the size of a small continent, then how exactly does the placement of the capital city and city-states work? I mean, would Poseidonis be located in the center of Atlantis while each of the city-states would be located outside the borders of the capital city; thus all the city-states surround the capital city as if they from some kind of circle-like pattern...?

Dear Mr. Weisman,

As a deeply devoted fan of your work I have to say that I believe Young Justice is your best show yet! The changes you made in the D.C. comics Universe-16 that differ from the mainstream continuity of D.C. comics make sense and honestly, D.C. should let you write for them A LOT MORE OFTEN! In my humble, admittedly bias, opinion:)

I especially love the down-to-earth or, to paraphrase one of your responses, "original power level" changes to the characters various superpowers and origins. Having a Superman that can move planets with his strength or run as fast as a speedster would be boring and redundant. Having Mars still alive and well as a planet was PURE GENIUS. Also, unlike many D.C. fans I think your decisions regarding the "Speed Force" on Earth-16 was very wise. Ditto the Superman breath powers thing. Don't let ANYONE give you a hard time about the choices you made while making a universe all your own BASED on D.C. comics characters! It's your universe you can make whatever rules you want! (mostly :)) Your real fans are all behind you.

With that out of my system, my question is this...

From what you displayed to the audience in the Young Justice episode "War" and what you've stated in your previous responses, I feel that it's safe to assume that Mongul's yellow sun related increase in strength and invulnerability is a trait common among his unnamed alien species.

1. I would like to know if Despero's "super" strength, invulnerability, and third-eye based telepathy are traits common among his unnamed alien species? Or unique to him?

2. I would also like to know if Kylstar's "super" strength, invulnerability, and energy absorption/redirection abilities are common traits among his unnamed alien species? Or unique to him?

I realize that there is variation even in traits common to all members of any species. However, the reason I ask is because I cannot assume that all members of their respective species have super powers, like them, based upon only seeing one member of each species.
That would be like a group of Rannians seeing Flash, Black Lightening, or Black Canary in action and assuming all Earthlings have powers like theirs. Or me seeing only Black Beetle and assuming all Reach have Superman-level super strength.

I love Young Justice and therefore I am an avid reader of the Q&A portion of this website.

My question relates to one of your previous responses wherein you stated that Martians of Universe-16 can, in fact, INCREASE their density by DECREASING their volume.

I was wondering, why then, is it possible for a Martian to DECREASE their density without INCREASING their volume? Are they increasing their volume in a way we cannot see? Is there some sort of molecular process going on?

I just wanna know, one pseudo-scientist to another. One major D.C. comics fan to another:)

I've been wondering about this for quite sometime. In the episode the season 1 episode Humanity, we see Red Volcano melt and basically "die". But in the season 2 episode Runaways,Red Tornado is back and trying to take amazo. Was he rebuilt sometime during the 5 year time skip?

1. Was Wally a virgin through Season One? If yes, did he lose it to Artemis between the first two seasons?
2. Was M'gann a virgin through Season One? If yes, did she lose it to Conner between the first two seasons?
3. Was Kaldur a virgin through Season One? If yes, did he lose it between the first two seasons?
