I was wondering if you ever bring back Gargoyles again on TV for all ages to see, even for me because when I was little I watched this show all the time with me and my mom.

Greg responds...

It's not up to me.

I'm not at all clear what you are saying or asking.

The decision to "bake" isn't up to me. But check out the trade paperbacks; they're pretty well-baked.

Um... about this... http://s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?qid=11747

I really must apologize if I sounded the wrong way, I did not mean to anger you. Thank you very much for all of your answers Mr. Weisman. :D Good luck with all of your future projects.

Greg responds...

Thank you, and thank you for always referencing the previous questions with a link. There's no way I'd remember what we were talking about without the link.

Hey Greg!
Don't know if you'll know this, but when Sony relinquished Spider-Man TV rights, did that include the theme song? In other words, assuming TSSM comes back (and I'm also assuming that it will have already been renewed by the time you get this), then will you be able to use the same theme song, or will you have to make a new one? 'Cause I LOVE that theme song!!!!!!! (Although I'm sure you could another one just as good....)

Greg responds...

I love the song too, but your question is unfortunately moot now.

We've seen biological relations for all the members of the cast(Brooklyn(Brooksbro), Lexington(Kermit), Hudson and Broadway(True), Bronx(Chomp and Chaw)) except Demona and Goliath among the Wyvern Clan, is there a reason for this.

Greg responds...

The premise of this question is not necessarily correct.

You mentioned that True, Chomp and Chaw aren't among the Gargoyles that made up Demona's Clan in 1020 would that story have been picked up in the main Gargoyles series or Timedancer?

Greg responds...

I 'mentioned' that? Or is it just an assumption because they weren't seen in City of Stone? Anyway, I don't have a specific plan at the moment that would define where I would tell their stories. But someday, maybe...

When you were creating the other clans how did you decide which locations would have still have Gargoyle Clans over the others?

Greg responds...

Some of it was about logic (like the clan on New Olympus). Some about story ideas we had (like M.I.A.). Some about a desire for geographic distribution (like the Mayan clan in Guatemala). Sometimes it just felt right, like the notion that there would eventually be a clan in Paris at Notre Dame, site of some of the most famous Gargoyles in the world. Sometimes it was as silly as ... hey, they're animating the series in Japan and Korea, so let's put clans there. At some point later on, the ideas became more fixed and were explored (at least in my head) in much more detail.
