Artemis' #1 Fan writes...

Is the Young Justice tie-in comic considered part of the TV show's cannon, or is it considered an expanded universe?

An Ask Greg Helper responds...

Greg Weisman says:

"The Young Justice comic book will be in continuity with the television series, telling stories set either between episodes of the tv show and/or telling the same stories from different points of view. You don't have to watch the show to enjoy the comic or read the comic to enjoy the show, but I guarantee you'll get even more out of both if you take the time to experience both."

Will Robin and Kid Flash be in an open homosexual relationship ?

An Ask Greg Helper responds...

Greg Weisman says:

"Well, what really precludes it, I suppose, is that I don't think either of them are gay. But everyone is entitled to their opinion."

Hi, I know the new episodes just started airing but do you know if the second season will start immediately after the season 1 finale or will there be another break until the series resumes?

An Ask Greg Helper responds...

Greg Weisman says:

"I don't know. I'm not consulted on scheduling."

YJ'S BACK, BABY!!

Yes, that's right. "Misplaced", the nineteenth episode of YOUNG JUSTICE, aired today on Cartoon Network.

If you missed it - or just want a second look - it will rerun tomorrow on Cartoon Network. Check local listings for times.

When you answer "SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT." it means that the answer WILL come up later in the show/comics or it MAY.

An Ask Greg Helper responds...

Greg Weisman says:

"Questions that ask me to SPOIL my own show are exasperating. As I've said over and over, I'm just NOT going to do that. Why would I? Even obvious stuff can't be addressed, because if I acknowledge anything, the stuff I don't comment on is spoiled by default. So please, please, please refrain. Any question that falls into this category will simply be answered: SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT."

YJ question:

Today's episode involves every adult on the planet disappearing. A few episodes ago, giant plant creatures attacked major cities of the earth. Since the Justice League has been around for some time in Earth-16, have the people of earth seen and been through enough of these situations so that some of them, if not all of them, just shrug and say, "Eh, whatever. The Justice League will take care of it." every time something big like that happens?

Greg responds...

I hope not.

I heard that the videogame Young Justice: Legacy is being written in collaboration with you and Brandon.
1) Exactly how much say do you guys have in the storyline?
2) Have you seen any of the graphics for the game yet, or been informed of what kind of gameplay it will have?
3) Will all the characters have the same voice actors as in the TV series?

Greg responds...

1. It's a collaboration. We're not writing it ourselves, but so far, everything has been run by us, and we've had input on everything from characters to motivation.

2a. No.

2b. I'm not a gamer myself, so I don't understand the question.

3. I would assume so, but that hasn't even come up yet.

Is Kaldur from the show the same Kaldur/Jackson from the comics (not Young Justice tie in)? I ask because (according to the tie in comic) there are many contradictions with others. It's more curiosity than anything. :0
2. Is the majority of the story lines original or do you pull them from comics? Or a mix of both? Curiosity, again, lol. I realized Teen Titan pulled most of their ideas from the comic books. (which I'm not saying is bad, I loved TT and I love YJ)

This is totally unrelated, but I'm upset about that picture being released of the character in Season 2 D: (of the toy or whatever) I know you had nothing to do with it, but it was all over my tumblr and I was like ._. SPOILER MUCH. WARNING NEXT TIME. Just makes me sad...ItotallydigMegan'shairthough.

Greg responds...

1. ASKED AND ANSWERED.

2. A mix.

1) Was The Atom mentioned in "Failsafe" the same person who was a member of the JSA?
2) In #13 of the tie-in comic, Artemis and Icicle Jr. acted like they hadn't seen each other in a long time. How long was it?
3) How long ago was Greta killed by Harm?
4) Where were the following villains incarcerated at once they were captured:
A-Bane
B-Clayface
C-Whisper A'Daire
D-"Ugly" Mannheim
E-Psycho-Pirate

Greg responds...

1. No.

2. Years.

3. Not very.

4a. Not incarcerated.

4b. Arkham.

4c. Good question. Probably Belle Reve. Maybe just in a normal Federal Prison.

4d. Ditto.

4e. Probably Belle Reve.

1) In what ways is Kobra Venom an enhancement of the Blockbuster formula?
2) Why did Mammoth and Shimmer join the Cult of the Kobra?
3) How old is Lord Kobra?

Greg responds...

1. It presumably does not effect the mind.

2. SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT.

3. Thirty-seven.
