Hey! First of all, thank you for the awesome show! I was never into superheroes until it saw your show!! Thanks! XD
Secondly, I just saw Misplaced (which was amazing by the way!) and I was wondering why Klarion's eyes turned al red and small. Does it happen whenever he wants and did they do that before in Denial?
This might be considered a spoiler, and if so then just don't answer, but will there be more Batman and Robin moments? Cause those are definetly my favorite!!!

1. We have two models for Klarion. One is more demonic than the other. We used both in both episodes.
2. Normally, I'd say SPOILER REQUEST, NO COMMENT. But this is so basic and obvious, that it's easy enough to answer yes.

This is possibly a separate subject from my first question:
After "Grief," how did Wolf get to Scotland, and subsequently back to New York? Not that Xanatos Enterprises lacks the resources to do so, but privately flying him so he can make friends with a possessed axe seems like a waste of Xanatos' effort. And I imagine that most humans at an airport would freak out if they got a good sight of him, and not allow him onto a passenger airplane. At least in the U.S., we need to show a face and a photo ID that match before boarding.

When watching The Green, I began to wonder something:
When Jackal bought Hyena a first-class airplane ticket, was it for a regular passenger plane? I can't imagine how they could get through airport security, even before 9/11 -- their bodies are full of knives, guns, and saws!

Hi!
I have a few Young Justice questions about magic. First, is magical affinity in their world partly genetic? (Zatanna shares her father's powers, and many Atlanteans have magical skill.) Or does it have more to do with teaching and personality (Kent Nelson told Nabu that Wally's soul belonged to science)? Could a lone student with a spellbook learn, or does it take more than that?
Last, I absolutely loved Zatanna changing her boots to a more practical version in "Secrets"! More battle-practical female attire, please!

As to the former, I'm not that dense. As to the latter, I wish. But I doubt it. I don't know how I could have made this point any clearer:

You have said in the past that if you were ever allowed to use guest appearances in spec spidey(if it had continued) there was a particular Hulk story you wanted to adapt. Was it the story from Amazing spider-man annual 3? If not which story was it?

I don't recall saying that. I definitely wanted to adapt that era when Hulk was practically a force of nature - and a bit of a Bigfoot-style legend, with very few people absolutely knowing for certain that he existed.

While it appears that Xanatose generally prefers to avoid killing he's had his moments where he almost does(sending the steel clan to kill the gargs in awakenings when he realized he can't control them being the biggest example). So I have to ask has he ever killed or had someone killed?

Hello Greg,
I absolutely love watching Young Justice, and I want to compliment you and your staff for putting on such a stellar show week after week (when Cartoon Network actually decides to aire episodes, that is). The script and attention you all give to detail is truly phenomenal, which brings me to my first question:
1. For the particulars of each episode (ie: Robin’s knowledge of computers, Wally’s knowledge of science, and people speaking foreign languages), do you actually have specialists on hand such as linguists, chemists, geologists, physicists, etc. to consult when determining how exactly you would diffuse a volcanic explosion among other things? Or do you and the writers just do an obscene amount of research before writing up each scenario?
Also, I’m fairly convinced at this point that the ability to withhold spoilers is some sort of superpower. I know I’d be too excited for the show to refrain from giving out details. Do you don a mask and cape to become “The Weisman†before answering our questions?

1. Mostly we do a ton of research - and we also make a ton of stuff up. But I do have a few experts I go to for certain things. For example, Aris Katsaris has provided us with the Ancient Greek which we've adapted to Atlantean. John Wells helps out with all things DC Universe. Etc.
2. No cape. But sometimes I put on a funny nose and glasses. Actually, I'm just a stingy individual when it comes to SPOILERS. It isn't hard for me to refrain from revealing stuff. In fact, some of the folks here at Warner Bros. want me to TEASE more about upcoming content, and I'm extremely reluctant.

This coming Saturday, April 7th on Cartoon Network's DC NATION is episode 124 of YOUNG JUSTICE: "Performance." It's focus is on Robin, his origins and one of his oldest friends. Sue Weisman 1910-2012
Earlier this week, my astounding grandmother, Sue Weisman, passed away just a couple weeks shy of her 102nd birthday.
She led an amazing life that saw the world change in amazing ways. There are hundreds of stories. Stories her of growing up on New York's lower east side with five older brothers, two younger sisters (all gone now) and the restaurant that her father owned and her Yiddish-speaking mother ran, stories of the three young girls in their pretty dresses driving back from New Jersey with liquor hidden under the seat. There are stories of her meeting and marrying my grandfather Aaron Weisman and moving to Chicago during the days of Frank Nitti, of whom she had - from personal experience - a very negative view. There are stories of moving to Los Angeles and Beverly Hills in the fifties. And stories of her over 40 years as a volunteer at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
But mostly, there are stories of her family: her three children, eight grandchildren and TWELVE great-grandchildren, not to mention numerous, spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. She was a most astounding matriarch, and she will be missed.
But the truth is she's been missed for quite some time. She was with us and WITH IT right through and past her 100th birthday. But in the months that followed, I firmly believe she decided she was done. Somewhere inside her, she flipped a switch and was gone, even though her physical body hadn't received the memo. She hasn't been herself in over a year, and her finally passing is, I believe, a blessing.
I think that's why it's taken me so long to write this. I'm trying to get my head around my LACK of response to this loss. Its hard not to think that there must be something wrong inside me not to feel worse - let alone... anything. Maybe it'll hit me later. The entire Weisman clan is gathering next week on what would have been her 102nd birthday, not to memorialize her but to celebrate her life. And I'm looking forward to it - even if (or maybe especially if) it results in the death finally hitting home. (Heck, I thought writing this might trigger something, but no.) Mostly, I think the culprit is that the mourning for me took place some time ago. It began when she made the decision to stop going to the theater with me and the kids. We had a subscription to A NOISE WITHIN, a classical theater company here in the Los Angeles area, and she enjoyed it thoroughly, even as her hearing deteriorated, making it increasingly difficult for her to follow what was going on. But I was still stunned when she chose not to accompany us any longer. And bits and pieces of her faded away from there. Our last real conversation was extremely frustrating for both of us. She thought I was my father, even though my father was sitting just a few seats away. And she kept asking me how "Sam" was - when none of the rest of us assembled could figure out WHO Sam was. Finally, something else she said finally made me realize she was talking about my son Benny. But even when I offered up that name, she didn't recognize it. At the very end, she couldn't recognize anyone. So perhaps I was overly prepared for this eventuality. Perhaps one day when I least expect it, it will knock me for a loop. But not today.
