Compliments on Endgame. The mixture of victory and happiness, regret and loss, and a hope for a better future, wrapped up Invasion, in my opinion, the perfect way.

Good to see the Reach, especially Black Beetle, get their comeuppance. But, of course, I was saddened by Wally's death. The passing of the Kid Flash torch from Wally to Bart really emphasized what I believe Young Justice is all about.

As Artemis said, there will always be a world to save in Earth-16. The responsibility will continue to be passed from one generation of heroes to the next, with sacrifices along the way. Not all heroes on Earth-16 will be lucky enough to leave the hero "gig" (as Black Lightning described it) alive; or without serious injury; or without losing a comrade, friend or family member. The current generation can only move ahead to do what must be done.

With your mention of a time skip for a third season, I am curious about the 10-30 years post Endgame. As a fan of Batman Beyond, the concept of an aging Bruce Wayne physically unable to continue with his mission interested me. I thought about how the DC heroes would deal with their gradual loss of strength and endurance, and their realization that their active role in the "gig" is nearing its end. That version of Bruce virtually isolated himself for decades. Whether or not you planned to tell stories this far in the future, did you ever consider what the current League and Team members' abilities would be like down the line? And how that would impact their personalities?

Thanks again to you, Brandon and everyone who brought this show to us. I look forward to Legacy and hope more Young Justice stories can be told.

Greg responds...

Brandon and I have a LOT of ideas for down the line. A LOT.

A letter to Greg and team from Eli writes...

Thank you Greg and team for making the most joyous show in entertainment. It speaks volumes about the kind of artist you are, and the kind of people you are. I'm talking about The young Justice show.

What you achieved with the show touches the core of every true artist out there. The kind of artist that wants to evoke all kinds of emotions in people without resorting to gimmicks in order to keep his/her audience engaged. he/she wants people to get emotionally attached to his/her work.

(To avoid confusion, I'm going to pretend that the artist i'm referring to here is a man while still maintaining a fair stance that involves both genders. Therefore I'll use 'he' and all the adjectives that are associated with it as a pronoun that stands for both 'he' and 'she'.)

he does this because he wants to feel like he has a complete connection with his audience. It's almost like he forces his audience to share his fantasy with him, and he achieves this by creating grand visuals of his imagination. You achieved this with your show. No award, no matter how grand it is, can be used to capture the grandness of what you archived.

Thank very much for the sacrifices you had to make to bring this to us. We will always be indebted to you. You've gained fans for life with your work. I wish you the very best going forward.

Greg responds...

Thank you.

Hey Greg. First off, I want to thank you, the cast and crew for giving a great quality superhero show that hasn't been seen for the longest time and I hope Cartoon Network makes the right decision in renewing the series as well as Green Lantern. Now for the question:
Obviously during season 2, Dick & Wally's friendship had suffered during the invasion. Mostly with the latter not approving Nightwing's methods of obtaining information about the Light & the Reach. So between the time of Intervention & Endgame, were Dick & Wally able to reconcile their differences and renew their friendship? It wasn't stated within the show; even though both of them congratulated Aqualad for ending the Light-Reach alliance, there never seemed to be a moment where there was a heart-to-heart conversation between them with Wally reuniting with Artemis, which was great, and Nightwing giving leadership back to Kaldur.

Greg responds...

As I've stated - at this point - many times before, I don't actually think their friendship "suffered" as much as some people did. There's no doubt the ENTIRE situation was tense, and they argued. But they were NEVER NOT friends, and no reconciliation was necessary in my mind. No "renewal" was necessary. That's why we didn't dedicate any (precious, precious) screentime to it. It didn't seem necessary. Best friends fight sometimes. But they get over it fairly quickly, in my experience.

Loved the series finale of Young Justice, though as a fan of Wally West his apparent death was a stab to the heart. I did like how there was enough ambiguity in the nature of his death to pull off bringing him back in season 3 if you had desired to(which we sadly will not likely get).

Anyway, my questions are:
1. Who did Rocket get married to?
2. When I see people dicuss your role with Young Justice, it makes it seem like you're the one with the final say when it comes to storyboard matters, which I'm sure you can attest is not true. Were there any elements from the first two seasons that you didn't initially like but were outvoted on by other producers/staff members?

Greg responds...

1. SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT.

2. Um... Well, for starters, you're right that I didn't have final say on anything in a vacuum. Brandon and I together had final say. Scripts were more my domain, and storyboards, his. But we both had to agree on everything. And mostly we did. Since there's only two of us, no one was ever outvoted. On the rare occasions where we disagreed, we had to work together to find a solution that worked for both of us.

The ONLY exception that comes to mind is on Deathstroke's ponytail. I didn't like it. Brandon and Phil Bourassa, our character designer, did. So I let the two of them outvote me. (Even though I still think I was right.)

Hi again Greg. Apologies....I see most of my designation questions were asked before. So let me ask a couple of new ones.
As Team members have continued to join, have they all received (and in Static's case, will receive) hand-to-hand combat training? If so, is Black Canary still in charge of the training?
Though they are not Team members, will Tye, Asami and Eduardo continue to be trained in their abilities?
Does Arsenal keep in contact with Virgil, Tye, Asami, and Eduardo? Though he was kicked out of the Team, does Arsenal keep in touch with Artemis or other members? With Roy and Ollie?

Greg responds...

1. They have or will.

1a. She's still in charge, but much of the training is now handled by members of the Team, especially, believe it or not, Superboy.

2. SPOILER REQUEST.

3. Some.

3a. Some.

3b. Yes.

2) Do Red Arrow and Arsenal hang out or talk to each other at all?
3) How does Jade feel about Arsenal? (Does she think he is stubborn or something like that?)
Thanks again for your time!

Greg responds...

1. Lian was born in September of Team Year Five.

2. I'm tempted to say "Spoiler Request". But what the heck? Yes. Some, at least.

3. They're not close.

I know this is not a question but I would just like to thank you. To everyone who worked on Young Justice, from the writers, the composers to the voice actors and to you and Brandon. Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful story to follow, and making it an experience of a lifetime.
Never before has a show captured my imagination, nor the characters seemed so real as Young Justice has. The experience of watching these characters grow, coupled with the amazing acting and art design (as well as suffering through the hiatus to see them all again) was one of the best times i have ever had watching a show. And I never felt anything was dumbed down for understanding, easy enough if you have watched the episodes leading up to the current but with an extra layer of depth for those who could read into the dialogue and scenes to find parallels drawn throughout the series, or understood some subtle hints to character's stories in the comics. I for one thought the scene where The Team came down to meet the Justice League after they had arrived back on Earth was immensely powerful because of the fact the opposite had happened in the pilot episode of both season 1 and season 2. Fantastic job.
The characters in themselves felt real, and I could see many of the social situations the teens went through happening in real life (and in some cases I have seen said situation happen.) Before I had watched this show, sure I had always loved the DC universe, and yes i had watched previous DC shows (Batman:TAS, Justice League, the list goes on)but I had never been struck by a character in a way that I said, you know what I am going to look up more about Artemis, or T.O. Morrow, or Sportsmaster. Even previous characters that I have seen done on animated shows never felt old, each character in Young Justice felt like a fresh take, one I could like.
Props on you and everyone that worked on this show. You have created a world in which my favorite super heroes live, and in doing so have become my hero. Thank you.

Greg responds...

Thank YOU. It was a great experience, and we're glad the show reached you in those ways!

Hi Greg. I read your Endgame interview on The World's Finest website. Thanks for your designation list. A few questions related to the A designations:
1. With Static officially joining the Team in Endgame as B-26, I was curious about Tye, Asami, and Eduardo. Even though your guest list stops at A13/Jay Garrick, have they gained Authorized Guest status?
2. Does B'arzz O'oomm now have an A designation?
3. If Blue Devil is not a League member, has he received an A designation? If so is he considered A6,7,8, or 9?

Greg responds...

1 & 2. I think it's clear from the numbers that the answer is - for the time being at least - no.

3. SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT.

Hi Greg,
First of all I really need to just say how impressed I was and still am with Young Justice. Everything about it was incredible. Cartoon Network, DC, and Warner Bros. should really consider reviving it, especially since in my opinion it was the best program on Cartoon Network and they are steadily losing many great shows.
I just have a couple of questions about the status of the Light at the end of Invasion.

The characters often refer to breaking the Light in half. I'm just wondering if you could explain what that means. We know that 2 members were captured and such, but is the Light still functioning as an organization?
When watching Endgame I got the impression that the remaining members were still working together based on both Vandal's message to Rimbor, G. Gordon nominating Lex for U.N. Secretary General, and the meeting on Apokolips at the end of the episode.

So I'm sorry for my ramble. But I guess my question is this. Is the Light still working together and functioning or did the Team suceed in completely breaking apart their alliance?

Thanks again for all you've done, I hope that eventually my favorite show will return.

Greg responds...

The Team and the League may have overestimated the damage they did to the Light, but that doesn't mean the damage wasn't substantial. Ra's was killed - at least for the time being. Black Manta and the Brain were captured. And the Light's plans were exposed.

Hey, Greg. I would just like some clarification on something. Impulse repeatedly hinted that stopping Blue Beetle from becoming a villain wasn't the only reason for his travelling to the past. What were the other reasons? Was it just to help Neutron?

That. And saving Flash's life, and generally stopping the Reach Apocalypse.

Also, he wanted to try Chicken Whizees.

First off, thank you for making my Saturday mornings something to look forward to and meaningful to me.

Anyway,

1. In Endgame, after Wally gave his life to help Barry and Bart, the Team shows up to greet the remaining leaguers, with Aqualad standing on the front of the super cycle. Were they informed of Aqualad being a traitor before returning the Earth off screen, did Nightwing tell Batman before he left for Rimbor, or were they all surprised to see him there?

2. Did Batman want Captain Atom to be take over as the leader of the League before that title was given to Black Canary or was it decided that each leaguer could only be the leader for a set amount of years?

3. After production on Young Justice ended and the show was not renewed, were the crew members of the show moved to different projects or left out of work?

4. Was there an official reason for why Young Justice wasn't renewed for a season 3?

Greg responds...

1. I'm sure there was all sorts of surprise to go around.

2. I'm not clear on your question, but I think it's ASKED AND ANSWERED.

3. Some of each.

4. Not a single one, no.

Hi Greg,

I do have a few questions, but before I ask them, I just want to thank you and everyone who worked on the show.

The entire run of Young Justice was flat-out amazing, and had everything from humour to sad moments to great action. The story hooked me and the characters were likable but flawed, making them relatable...there are so many more things I could say about how great the show was. I have to go buy the DVDs soon, so I can always have the show and the memories it has given me.

As for the questions I had, they are:

1. When you look back on making Young Justice, is there anything you are most proud of?
2. This sounds a bit odd, but if the original members of The Team could break the fourth wall and tell their viewers one last thing; what do you think would each say after the finale? (Though I really hope the series can continue with another season, movie, comic or something...)

Thank you for your time and creating such an emotional and great series!

Greg responds...

1. There's a TON I'm proud of. I don't know if anything specifically qualifies for "most proud".

2. I'll leave such hypotheticals to your imagination.

I see that the queue is very cluttered with fan rambles that are either pissed off about his fate or begging you to tell them that he isn't dead/will be brought back in season 3.

Personally, I will choose not to ask anything pertaining to Wally. I have faith that you, Brandon and the rest of your crew had your reasons for doing what you did and that you guys know where you're headed with this. So instead, I'll focus my efforts on trying to get to that Season 3 so we can see for ourseleves what happens next. :)

Moving on, you had given a list of the designations in your interview with World's Finest Online right before the finale and there were seven "SPOILER REQUESTS" which I figured meant that we would been seeing these characters in "Endgame."

Based on who we saw in the episode, I'd wager that as of the 20th of June, Tempest and Blue Devil were the unknown Leaguers, and Virge, Ed, Sam and Tye were the four unknown guest designations. Then by the 4th of July, Virgil gained a Team designation upon becoming Static.

Could you either confirm or correct this?

And last but certainly not least, thanks to all of you guys for writing all of these characters and stories that matter so much. I really hope that we can get not just a third season, but a fourth and a fifth, too, while we're at it.

Greg responds...

I could confirm or correct, but I won't.

First off, I love Young Justice. Thanks for making such a great show!

My question is about the Light, Reach and Bart's future. It was made pretty clear in Summit and Endgame that the Light planned to betray the Reach. They seem to have planned out all contingencies and have an even bigger masterplan involving Darkseid - basically they knew what they were getting into. So what happened in Bart's future? Bart always referred to it as the "Reach Apocalypse" and the Reach/Blue Beetle were obviously in charge - it seemed as though the Light didn't intend for the Reach to actually conquer Earth in their masterplan, so what went wrong? It just seems weird to me that the big baddies who seem to have endless schemes, tricks and Xanatos gambits could have got it so wrong.

4: How strong is Vandal Savage? (Considering he took down Black Lightning,Captain Marvel, and Black Canary like nothing) If answered, why is he that strong and was he ever that strong in other continuities?

Lots of fans are sad that YJ is over even though we still have Legacy that has canon storyline. I am super excited for it so my questions will strictly relate to that.

1: How much input did you and your team have on the game? Heard it was more then most games get.

2: If the game sells really well will that help to continue YJ ether through a squeal game, direct-to-video movie, etc.?

3: Without giving spoilers of course, is there anything special you want to tell us about the game to hype it more?

Thank you for your time. I think it is super cool that you take your personal free time to interact with the fans like this and it really upsets me whenever I see a question from someone being rude or ungrateful.

Young Justice is my favorite TV show ever! I think you and everybody that worked to make it perfect is a genius! I could probably rant for days about everything I love about the series but I don't want to waste your time and it is better to keep this message short.

Greg responds...

1. I can't speak for other games, but Brandon and I broke the story with them, and I edited all the dialogue. I also attended all the voice sessions.

2. Good sales are our best bet to get any further material.

3. Not at the moment.

First of all, I would like to say thank you for such a quality show! It's given me new hope for this age of television, though its cancellation has dampered that a bit. But I still have faith that it will be renewed someday, hopefully sooner than later. Anyway, here are a few questions on my mind.
1. I know you don't want me asking how long the planned time skip for season three was, but I am curious if there's any hope for a shorter time skip than before. So instead, my question is, is there any hope that the time skip this time around could be a matter of months? Or is it more your style to plan longer time skips? I felt the first time skip was natural, as I already knew the characters well (aside from maybe Rocket) and I welcomed a mostly new cast. However, I now feel that with the time constraints and more plot-based story, I'm still just getting to know these characters, and would like to keep getting to know them as they are. All the same, I trust your decision-making and would look forward to whatever you and Brandon cook up.
2. If you were to get another season, would it be like season two, a more plot-driven season, or would it return to being a character-driven story? Would a character-driven season even work, given the amount of characters now on the Team? And also, would the amount of episodes given make a difference in your decision in this matter?
3. What scene do you most regret not being able to include in/before the finale? (Un-moded Jaime reuniting with Tye/his family, Artemis reuniting with Paula, more of Red Arrow and/or Cheshire and Lian, more of the runaways, just to give a few possible examples)
Thank you for your time, and just know that I'm so honored to be a fan of your brillant show! May things go well with your future endeavors.

Greg responds...

1. SPOILER REQUEST. NO COMMENT.

2. The amount of episodes ordered would indeed make a difference in what and how much we would attempt cover, among many other decisions.

3. Too many to count.

Well, since Young Justice just finished its run, I thought I might as well say a huge thank you.
I've been a fan of your work ever since I caught a WITCH episode, and unfortunately around the time Spectacular Spiderman was airing I was at that "I'm too old for cartoons" stage of life. Thank God I got over that, and with a little internet magic I was able to watch Gargoyles, Spec, and learn about Young Justice. I enjoyed the characters, plotlines, art, fight scenes, acting, basically everything (aside from few complaints here and there, but nothing too major).
Most of all, I enjoyed that it remembered it was a cartoon and not a comic. When Wally died, I was able to actually feel sad rather than groan and think "oh great, now I have to wait until he's retconned back into existence". If you get a lot of hate mail for that, don't worry. He's a popular character who recently got poorly handled in the comicverse, so people tend to be overprotective. Personally, I think him going to speedster Valhalla or the like is way more fitting than wiping out the whole of his heroic career.
So thanks to you and the entire Young Justice team for putting some serious effort into this show. It was much appreciated.
And since I feel obligated to ask a question, the finale aired on March 16th. How did you manage that?

Greg responds...

Heh heh heh.

Wow This season was great! You and the team should be proud of you hard work it really paid off! I will dearly miss YJ it would always cheer me up when I had a bad day, I would pretend the team was there and they'd cheer me up, or they would come to school with me and help me through. I am not the only one that does this many people do, I even pretend I am on the team and we did missions together, to me the characters are real. I cried so much when reality hit me that the show is over, I cried a lot when Wally died too, but I know a lot of people asked you if he is dead and if there will be a third season so I wont ask that, instead I will thank you for this Wonderfully Amazing show, watching the team grow, listening to Dick say silly things like Aster and Whelmed, or Megan say Hello Megan, Gar say Noted or Bart say Mode and Crash etc. I know one day the show will come back because with fans like this nothing can keep us from a show like this!!! I will be waiting for the day this show comes back and I will one day show my kids this show. Thank you for taking the time to read this and create the BEST SHOW EVER!! We will keep fighting for the show to come back one day!!! The fans will never forget Young Justice!
