It is a little early to ask this question, but I'm going to ask it anyways. It was you who recommended that fans re-watch YJ on Netflix over and over again to bring it back. There has been no word yet as to where YJ season 3 will be broadcast, but if it is Netflix or some other streaming service, does the same principle hold for getting a season 4? That is, the more we watch and re-watch season 3 the better our chances will be of getting a season 4?

Greg responds...

It's since been announced that we will be on a DC streaming service -with more details to come. But, yes, obviously, if folks want a season four, they need to watch the hell out of Season Three (Young Justice: Outsiders) and help spread the word so that as many people as possible watch as many times as possible. Thanks for asking!

Congratulations and big relief on Season 3 of Young Justice, Greg!
It's not really a question, but it's still important to me so I'm sending this anyway...
I'm a fresh new fan and wouldn't even know about the series if it wasn't for so many favorable opinions on the internet. When approaching the series, I must admit I was VERY sceptical since I wasn't really fond of DC as a child. And really quickly I got proven wrong, and got hooked on. The characters (and God I cherish all their designs and diversity! Plus you rarely get to see so many freckled characters in cartoons, kudos) are so lovable and charming I got legit pissed that sometimes 'threat of the day' got in the way of 'regular life' struggles.
There's just to wish for more of slice of life moments and heroes just casually hanging out, that'd be cool. Looking forward to seeing what else you got in store, good luck

Greg responds...

We'll do our best. Thanks!

Hi Greg. Just wanted to let you know how happy I am about season 3. Every time I feel down nowadays the thought that YJ season 3 is a thing that is actually happening always cheers me up.

Greg responds...

Me too!

Hey, following up from a question from years ago. Someone mentioned that you said Starfire was a character that you were thinking about for season 3 and you replied asking when you ever said that. You said it in this interview with GamerFitNation at the 8:24 mark https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YQnptAVvcVs

Greg responds...

Starfire has always been on our list. Raven too. Cyborg. Etc. All the obvious teen heroes. Given enough time and episodes/issues, etc., we'll get to literally all of them in one way or another. No promises of when or in what season.

Are you able to give any type of production update on YJ season 3 like you did back in the day? I saw that Phil has been doing designs for the season on IG.

Greg responds...

I don't know what "IG" is...

And, no. WB has imposed an info-embargo for the time being. All I can say is that we are all happily plugging along. We've assembled a stellar team of folks from Seasons One and Two and folks who are new to the series. I'm tremendously excited about the stories we're breaking, etc. Really, it's all good. I'm so thrilled to be back working on YJ again.

So thrilled Young Justice is finally being revived. Hopefully, this season will be a bigger success than Season One and Two combined and be renewed for a fourth season.

1. When Young Justice was still airing on Cartoon Network, you said that you got along with the people there. But why on earth did they give the show random hiatuses in both seasons with no explanation given? Were they purposely trying to kill the show? Did Warner Bros. play a role in this?

2. Khary Payton stated in an interview that the box-office bombing of the Green Lantern movie eventually led to the cancellation of Young Justice. Can you confirm this?

3. Is there going to be a trailer for Season 3 this year?

Greg responds...

1. I honestly don't know. Those were all decisions made far above my pay grade.

2. Well. No. I can't. I think it caused some problems. Green Lantern toys languished on the shelf. That effected Mattel's decisions about toys for their entire DC license. And that hurt us, certainly. But I don't want to simplify to the extent you're implying.

3. I dunno.

Dear Greg, I just wanted to say I'm wishing luck to you and everyone involved with young Justice season 3.
I wanted to ask who are your top 4 favorite robins, and what you like about them.

Greg responds...

Geez, top 4 Robins. How many are there? Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, Damien and Carrie, if you count Dark Knight. Harper, if you count Bluebird, right? Throw in a Bat-Girl and some Batgirls, and you've got Bette, Barbara, Cassandra and Stephanie again. Then Batwoman's Kate. Nightwing's Dick again. Bette again with Flamebird. Barbara again with Oracle. Stephanie again with Spoiler. Luke. Batwing. Ace the Bat-hound. Bat-mite. Cassandra's Orphan. Azrael. Even Clayface. Wow, when you count 'em up, Batman's a protogee machine, isn't he?

And I'm sure I'm leaving some out.

Hello Mr Weisman!

I have to say, I loved your work before I even knew it was yours. I remember being bedridden with chicken pox, and obsessing over witch so much that if it wasn't on Jetix at that particular time slot I'd make my dad rent the dvds and watched those to death. It was probably the only thing that captivated my attention enough to stop me from itching myself!

Later on, when I was in Secondary school, spectacular Spider-Man started airing, and me and my brother and my dad would stop everything to go and watch it. 5:00 pm is the perfect timeslot really XD

In my final year of secondary school, during my gcses, young justice started airing. At first I only saw snippets when my brother watched it. I, uh, I didn't rate it at the time. But I was SO wrong. Me, my brother and my dad were off school two weeks earlier than my sisters and my mum, and instead of doing the chores we were supposed to we marathoned both seasons. It's ADDICTIVE as heck!

WITCH, Young Justice and Spectacular Spider-Man were all aired in the UK without much fuss, apparently not the case in the US.

And I'd just like to thank you so much for creating something that my family could bond over. And I am HYPED for the third season.

I know that you've said that the show is in pre pre production, but is there any sort of talk about an international release? Even if it's an overhead snippet, ANYTHING at all to allay my worries would be great.

Thanks so much, keep well!

Greg responds...

I'm sorry. I don't have any info on that. But I imagine it'll eventually be available.

Can you really believe young justice has been revived? Sometimes it feels like when you've woken up from an awesome dream and you're happy because of how awesome it was and how good it felt, but deep down you know it was a dream so you wanna hit the snooze button and get back to it because you're afraid that feeling will go away if you get up... but in this case it is really real!!!!! And that's what makes it so unbelievable! Three months later and I'm still so happy!

Greg responds...

It's May 22nd, as I write this, and it's still fairly surreal. Everytime we start a new part of the process or bring in an actor who worked on the show in prior seasons, it hits us all over again. It's amazingly cool, and we're having a blast.

Regarding season 3... This is a very broad question so I hope you don't consider it a spoiler. You once said that season 2 was going to be much more plot oriented and less character oriented than season 1. (Or words to that effect.) How would you describe the breakdown between character and plot in season 3? Is even a vague question like this considered a spoiler?

Greg responds...

Yes.

And I don't believe that Season Two was less character oriented. I just think Season Two was more plot-DRIVEN.
