In "Vows" When Goliath told to the young Demona about doing nothing to prevent The Wyvern Castle Massacre. To not let the petty jealousies that prey upon her heart. To fortify herself with love. Was he really hoping to prevent the future and was it his last attempt to reason her?

Greg responds...

Yes, hopefully if forlornly.

Hey Greg, congrats on Young Justice Season 3. I have a few quick questions on Spectacular Spider-Man.

1) Peter in the comics is generally considered to be 5'10". Your Peter said he was 5'6". Was the idea to eventually grow him to 5'10" or keep him the same? Sorry if this goes into spoiler territory.

2) Unlike Batman and Superman, Spidey's archenemy is a bit more debatable. Most will point to either GG Doc Ock or Venom but it partly depends on the writer's preference, the era and the continuity. I was surprised by how much equal dedication you guys gave to the Big Three; I feel most Spider-Man writers are somewhat biased to one or the other. So I'm curious, would you say YOUR version of Spidey had an archenemy in the show or did you see all three of them as equals? My instincts tell me it's Norman after Final Curtain but I'd like to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

Thank you and best regards,

JS

Greg responds...

1. He might have gotten a bit taller. He was only 16 in the show. But I never figure Spider-Man to be tall or brawny. Seems out of step with his character and archetype. And 5'10" seems like a tall man to me. Of course, I'm only 5'7", so perhaps I'm biased.

2. My gut is to say Gobby. But it's not like the others are pieces of cake. I just think it's more personal with Peter when it comes to Norman.

Again, nothing comes to mind.

If you could redo any episode of Young Justice that has currently aired which one would you pick and what would you change?

Greg responds...

Why would I want to redo anything?

What was the hardest episode of Young Justice to write and why?

Greg responds...

None have been that hard because we plan them out so much in advance. We break the stories on the bulletin board, and then create detailed outlines, so the scripting phase is fairly easy and straightforward.

Hi Greg,

Do you have any Gargoyles memorabilia that you've hung on to over the years? If so, anything particularly special to you?

Thanks,

Jaycob A.

Thanks

Greg responds...

I have a TON of Gargoyles memorabilia. For starters, I have enough t-shirts to wear one everyday for a month.

Lots of it has meaning to me. Hard to single out one item. But I guess the SLG Gargoyles comics and the DVDs are up there.

Greg responds...

I don't respond by email to Ask Greg questions or requests. If I started doing it for one person, I'd have to do it for everyone - and I'd soon be overwhelmed.

Beyond that, I didn't see a question. So I'm not sure how to answer.

Are they any bisexual and trans gendered gargoyles in the gargoyle universe?Have we seen them without mentioning who they are. the tv show and comic were theyre closeted for now?

Thank you and the crww for a great cartoon ahead of time.

Greg responds...

Bisexual for sure, and yes you've seen some, though keep in mind that most gargoyles mate once and for life, so you're less likely to get proof. I'd think there would be trans-gendered ones, as well, but I'll admit I haven't yet written any.

Back in the day, we weren't allowed to objectively present LGBTQ characters. That doesn't mean the characters were in the closet. We tried to write with consistency - even to the things we weren't allowed to do.
