How did Marie Logan react when she first saw Garfield's eyes had change color from blue to green ?

Greg responds...

I'll leave that to your imagination. Or, if not, I could answer: NO SPOILERS, and hope someday we get to show that reaction in a flashback. You never know.

(Although, let's be honest: I think mostly she was just glad he was alive.)

Greg,

Spectacular Spider-Man ended it's run on November 18th, 2009. It is June 23rd, 2017 as I'm writing this. To put it simply, it has been a while and with the show's successor Ultimate Spider-Man already completed it's run I was wondering if your opinions on the third season had changed. I know that previously you had said that ideas are only as good as their execution, and that you believed that without a show there was no point in spilling your ideas across the internet. I'm asking if you'd ever consider changing your mind and revealing these ideas, at least some of them (perhaps for the show's ten year anniversary)? Normally I would never ask such a question, I want to make it clear that my intention is not to pester or offend you. You are one of the most brilliant creators out there and your execution of ideas is incredible. But I feel I should at least ask. Due to the arrangements between Marvel and Sony changing it is my understanding that Marvel can never revive the series because Sony holds the rights to that particular version of the character. Why pay to use that Spider-Man when Marvel can make their own and milk it for cash? I would be disappointed but I would respect your decision if you choose to hold onto to these ideas, I know your intention is not to hold these ideas over our heads forever. I'm sorry if this question annoys, offends or warrants any negative response from you. I am not only a fan of the series but a fan of your work and that is not my intention.

Thanks for the great two seasons of the series and everything you've done since then.

Greg responds...

I'm not annoyed or offended in the slightest. And, no, my intent is not to hold my ideas over anyone's head. But I'm afraid I'm sticking to my sense that ideas minus their execution aren't worth much and are subject to a ton of second-guessing. I've learned that the hard way. So I'm going to decline. Sorry.

BUT NOT ANNOYED OR OFFENDED, I PROMISE! :)

When the first human members of the team became adult did Miss Martian at first have trouble acting like a adult around them because she still had mind of a teenager because she ages slower than a human?

Greg responds...

Everything's kinda relative and vague. Define adult. Define exactly when we become mature enough to behave as adults. I'm fifty-four, and I'm not always sure I'm behaving as an adult. Miss Martian was fairly mature for her age. Conner was - all things considered - extremely mature for his age. Wally grew a lot between seasons. Etc. Who's to say WHO hit adulthood first?

Hey Greg, i have a question which hopefully won't be misconstrued as a spoiler request. You mention way back when that Cartoon Network wasn't ready to display openly LGBT characters in cartoons. However with Legend of Korra and later Star vs. the forces of Evil, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe and whatnot being more open with LGBT elements in series with a young demographic:
1. Do you think that Cartoon Network would be more open to having openly LGBT characters on Young Justice.
2. And in your opinion will cartoons in general start displaying more LGBT characters/themes?
Thanks in advance..

Greg responds...

1. I honestly don't know. It's kind of a moot point vis-a-vis Young Justice, as season three won't be on Cartoon Network.

2. I think so. I hope so.

I've heard a lot about the "core truth" concept you and your team use in your approach to characters.

Are some of these core truths secrets, or would you tell us any that we ask?

Greg responds...

I don't think they're secrets because we put it all up on screen. But my inclination is to let our interpretation stand on its own, influenced by each viewer's own interpretation, as opposed to explicating everything in writing here. Still, I don't mind talking process. I'm not going to go down a laundry list of characters, but if someone were interested in one specific character as an example of the process, I might - depending on my mood and clarity - answer this kind of question once or twice.

How Sportsmaster couldn't find Jade after she run away? I mean I think he could if he really wanted to because he was working whit shadows and Jade was 13. How hard is to find 13 years old girl? I don't know I just think he just didn't care back then. So my questions are
1. Did he really try to find her at all? Or he just ignored the fact one of his daughters run away.

2. Was Artemis disappointed when realize her sister will not come back?

Greg responds...

1. No spoilers. But I will say that all over the world, lots of thirteen-year-old girls get lost and don't get found.

2. Yes.

Beast Boy has seen the martian true forn in in last young justice invasion episode . Does Beast Boy like or dislike the martian true form?

Greg responds...

I don't even know what that question means, really? Aesthetically? I mean, it's like asking if someone likes or dislikes the true form of a flower or the moon or a person.
