Did Tara ever get punished by deathstroke for giving him faulty information about the outsiders parents? Or did she escape punishment by explaining to him the situation changed quickly.

Greg responds...

Basically, the latter, since that was the truth. But also, he wasn't really in a position to punish her while she was undercover.

During season 3 ra’s al ghul had already left the organization, but still informed them of nightwing’s new team. Does this mean he’s still on good terms with the light?

Yep.

Back to talk about the cue ball himself again and Superman.

1. What is Hro talak's IQ?
1a. How big is his brain?
3. Is Superman married to Lois Lane?
4. Why did Superman call Conner his brother, rather than his son?

Greg responds...

1. I.Q.? Really? Does anyone still believe in I.Q.?

1a. How big did it look?

2. There is no two.

3. Yes.

4. They both felt more comfortable with that relationship paradigm.

Hey Greg, here are a few questions of Gargoyles verse:

1) Has anyone in-universe commented that Mr. Acme has the same name as the fictional company that sells (Faulty) products to Willie Coyote? Has he ever get into legal problem with the in-universe Warner Bros company because of that? What does he personally feels about the coincidence of his name and Acme Company of Looney Tunes?

2) I remenber there was an episode where it was briefly shows Hudson watching an episode of Quack Pack and he seemed to be at least intrigued by what he was seeing. Do you think Hudson likes cartoons in general? Also, on a more slly hypothetical, if someone commented within Hudson's earshot that cartoons are just for kids or immature adults, what do you think would Hudson's opinion be about such comment?

3) Assuming that it isn't a spoiler, do you think Oberon would be more of a dog person or a cat person? (Aka: Would he prefer dogs or cats as companions/pets, even if enither of these were his favorite animal.) What about Titania, Puck and Odin? Witch animal would each of these prefer between a dog or cat?

Greg responds...

1. The use was legally "de minimus," i.e. a small use for purposes of parody. The whole episode has a Wile E. Coyote vibe, so having the pie-gun come from "Acme," made sense. If we wanted to do the "Mr. Acme" spin-off series, we might have legal trouble, I suppose.

1a. I'm guessing he feels like heaving a big sigh about it.

2. I think all television fascinates Hudson.

2a. I think he'd ask, "If that's the case, what exactly is for mature adults?"

3. I'll leave all these to your imagination.

I dare say that Jade and Will's relationship is one of the best in the entire show. You, Brandon and the writers have managed to develop something that feels so true and pure without showing much on screen. But If ever you had the chance, would you write a story about their relationship?

Greg responds...

I feel like we have. But if you're asking if we'd be interested in exploring it further, the answer is clearly yes.

1. To clarify a previous question about actions that Kaldur and Artemis took while undercover, I was particularly thinking about Kaldur setting off the bomb and killing a lot of Kroloteans and destroying the satellite and and both of them generally assisting in kidnapping and complicity in what happened to the kids while in Reach custody.

2. You've previously confirmed that several of the group (Mera, Artur) that appeared in "Home Fires" have designations are there any adults or kids of that group that don't?

3. Has some or all of the group met before?

4. When did John Smith take in Traya?

Greg responds...

1. I'm sorry, what was the question?

2. No spoilers.

3. The "Home Fires" group? Yes. All of them, for the most part. That wasn't the first playdate ever.

4. No spoilers.

Hello there, Mr. Greg and the Team, The season 4 have a wonderful start, can't wait for the next episode

I have questions,
1. where do Zatanna train Traci and her other proteges? Is it on the Tower of Fate? Would Dr. Fate join Zatanna on training them?
2. If there are specialized problems that can only be dealt with magic, are the proteges will follow and join the fight?

Thank You

Greg responds...

1. No spoilers.

2. No spoilers.

But, seriously, just wait a couple weeks, okay?

So something that has perplexed me for YEARS is the presence of Two-Face in Young Justice. On previous occasions, you have been unsure of whether or not the E-16 version of the character has ever been shown. After triple-checking the tie-in comics, I can confirm that he has been! Barely!

In the “Face Your Fears” Free Comic Book Day issue written by Art Baltazar and Franco, what appears to be Two-Face can be seen getting kicked in the face by Robin in Panel #2 of Page #4. While it is clearly the classic two-faced visage of the comic character, it is a very small and blink-and-you-will-miss-it appearance.

So something I have wondered for a long time is:
1. Was this an artist addition?

If not and this was indeed confirmation of Earth-16 Two-Face (albeit a very quick one that you may have understandably forgotten in the sea of characters that you and Brandon are juggling):

2. Is Two-Face’s alter ego Harvey Dent?
3. When was Two-Face born?
4. When did Two-Face make his debut/how much time prior to July 25th, Team Year Zero (when the comic takes place)?

Very curious about this one.

Greg responds...

1. Not sure. It's just been too long. Two-Face definitely exists in the Earth-16 universe. Oracle mentioned them in this last episode. But I'm not going to count the visual in what was basically Robin's imagination.

2. No spoilers.

3. No spoilers. We haven't even seen them on screen yet.

4. No spoilers.

1. Is Vandal Savage still Blackbeard or has that changed since your 2013 post on the subject?
2. If so, was the Light of that time made up of other pirates?
3. Did Vandal Savage have anything to do with the disappearance of Anne Bonny from Jamaican prison in 1721?

1. Still the general plan.

2. Your question assumes facts not in evidence. And even if it didn't, no spoilers.

1. Was Monsieur Mallah tried as a human, since he was seemingly incarcerated at Belle Reve with other humans?
2. Where is The Brain incarcerated, and how (did they unscrew his brain-jar from its base or something)?

Hi Greg :)

I hope you`re doing great.

A few months ago you`ve stated in an answer that you were not allowed to openly depict a certain character in YJ Outsiders as LGBT+.

Did you had the same problem for this...or any other character in YJ Phantoms?

Greg responds...

Only that same one character.

Often in fiction, you usually tend to see the big dogs, or wolves, occasionally showing a friendlier side. But in this case, Wolf has been a bit more serious than the average loyal pet canine. Though I'm just curious (in offscreen moments in the event you don't intend to animate them in Young Justice), does Wolf occasionally affectionately lick the other members of the team, and if so, which ones?

Greg responds...

Um. Sure. Yeah. Uh... all of them?

We know that Avalon can send travellers where they “need to be”, so these questions are going to mainly revolve around that effect and the deeper mechanics that may be involved.

1.Does this effect only happen if someone is traveling to and from Avalon by the wharf? I’m sure Oberon and the rest of the Third Race have other means of coming and going from the island, but are they subject to be sent somewhere they don’t want to be by Avalon? Like say Oberon goes to Manhattan using his mirror. Could Avalon interfere with this and send him somewhere else that he “needs to be”

2.How long this, for lack of a better word, “rule” been in place for Avalon? Was it around back in Mab’s day?

3.Is Oberon aware that Avalon sends people on these adventures? And if so, can he make Avalon stop doing that? We know he can control the island’s landscape and weather, so can he stop Avalon from sending people on adventures? Could he make it so Avalon will just send people where they “want to go”?

4.Would you say that this rule is proof that Avalon has some degree of sentience to it? It sent Goliath and co. on adventures to do important things. In the Gathering it apparently sent them to stop Oberon in Manhattan. That seems to imply Avalon has its own agenda, regardless of what Oberon wants. Even more so, if he cannot actually stop it from sending travellers on adventures for whatever unknown purposes. So, would you say that Avalon is alive in some way?

5.How insistent is Avalon when sending travellers on World Tours? Suppose Goliath and co. were sent somewhere to do something important. Let’s say they believe they have succeeded in doing whatever they were sent to do(or maybe they just decide to give up). They hop back into the skiff and sail away. Would Avalon send them back again to the same place until they finished the job? The best example I can think of is maybe when they go to New Olympus. They decide the best thing to do to free Elisa and escape. If they had managed to get away, would Avalon just send them back again? It did always seem a little convenient that the group could successfully leave at the end of every episode, meaning they done what they were sent to do, despite the fact it’s never specified to them what exactly they needed to do when they arrived. What if they had missed something? What if they had done the wrong thing? I know it would tend to be obvious yes, but it’s mostly guesswork on their part.

Greg responds...

1. Avalon is a subtle mistress, so I'm going to say no. If, in essence, you're taking a shortcut - as with Oberon's Mirror - Avalon isn't likely to interfere.

2. Always.

3. I'm sure he's aware. I doubt he's interested in interfering. Keep in mind that people sailing off from Avalon is a rare occurrence.

4. Definitely. I thought that was clear.

5. It is what it is. Also, Avalon has no guarantee that they'll get back on the dang boat at the end of a "mission." Everyone has free will. But Avalon is sending folks where they need to be. If they're ready to leave, then they don't need to be there anymore.

What exactly is a blue mug convention? This one really has me scratching my head.

Greg responds...

We've never had a blue mug convention. We've had blue mug panels AT conventions.

Going backwards, many conventions have panels with names like "Mug-A-Guest". The idea behind these "Mugs" is to hold a more intimate panel. One or two guests with about a dozen or fewer attendees signing up for an hour or so, for a Q&A in a smaller room or conference room setting, so it feels more like a conversation than a lecture class. The term "Mug" is a play on the idea that fans sometimes corner guests to ask questions while the guest is, say, going to the bathroom or something like that. It's taking a negative encounter and turning it into a positive by making it a scheduled event. It's also a play on a coffee mug, because these were often intimate little talks with coffee or tea served.

At the Gathering of the Gargoyles conventions, we also held late night "Blue" panels, for adults only, where attendees could ask questions about non-PG stuff, like the Gargoyles' sex lives, etc. "Blue" has traditionally been a euphemism for adult or off-color topics.

At some point, we began scheduling "Blue Mugs," which combined the two ideas of a more raunchy R to NC-17 rated fan panel with the intimacy of a Mug-A-Guest session.

At some LATER point still, a few collaborators - Edmund Tsabard, Mara Cordova, Kalia Sartre, Jennifer L. Anderson and Gorebash - teamed up to create Blue Mug Productions and produced a couple issues of LAST TENGU IN PARIS. It was never popular enough to generate its own convention.

I'd previously asked this:

"So, it's established in Season 1 that M'gann has twelve sisters. The tie-in comics (issue 6, if I remember correctly) state that she had seventeen brothers. So, including M'gann herself, that would make thirty kids, right?

M'comm essentially says in season 3 that their parents had 29 children. Was the figure stated in the comics incorrect?"

There's an error- M'comm stated that in Season 4, actually (in "Needful"). Sorry for the hassle, Greg.

Greg responds...

J'ann and M'aatt have 29 children. Twelve sisters, including Em'ree and M'gann. Seventeen brothers, including M'comm. I thought we'd been consistent about this. I know I tried very hard to be consistent about this. But apparently, I blew it. OR... Miss Martian messed up when she said she had twelve sisters. She MEANT to say she has eleven sisters, but there were twelve sisters total, including herself.

So it's not so much that I'm bad at addition. It's that M'gann mispoke once. I think we can forgive her.
