Why did Mab disapprove of Titania?

Greg responds...

Lots of reasons.

Did you plan to introduce any other Shakespeare plays into the Gargoyles Universe besides MacBeth, Ill Met by Moonlight and the Tempest? What did Oberon, Titania and Puck think of Ill Met by Moonlight? What did Prospero think of the Tempest?

Greg responds...

I assume you mean "A Midsummer Night's Dream"...

Anyway, yes.

I like to think that all were happy enough with Shakespeare's work. But except for Macbeth's reaction, I haven't fully worked out the responses in my mind.

Were there any Fay casualties of the Oberon and Mab War? If so care to give a ballpark figure?

Greg responds...

As most of you know, I'm not big on quantifying things that haven't been worked out.

But yes, any war has casualties.

Why isn¡¯t Merlin, Oberon¡¯s own kid, considered a Child of Oberon? Why is Alex considered one?

Greg responds...

Well, let's begin with this: Considered by whom?

Alex was considered to have the potential to be one by Oberon & Titania.

Merlin and Oberon have long-standing issues, but what makes you think that he isn't considered a Child of Oberon?

Why is it in City of Stone the Weird Sisters appearing different to different people? Was it caused by a spell?
Why didn¡¯t we see them using this technique in post-CoS episodes?
Could Oberon and Titania do it? Have they done it?

Greg responds...

1. They strove to make each individual 'comfortable' with their appearance.

1a. Magic, anyway.

2. Just because YOU didn't see it doesn't mean the characters didn't.

3. Potentially.

3a. Perhaps.

Who made Oberon and Titania's twin mirrors?

Greg responds...

That's another entertaining story.

Pretty old.

If Avalon only dropped Goliath and company off in Manhattan to deal with Oberon, then why did their skiff sink? Wouldn't it have remained if it still had more tasks for them?

Thanks!

Greg responds...

It didn't. But it also didn't simply drop them off to let them come home. Sometimes things can have more than one purpose.

Who is more powerful? Oberon or a Space-Spawn planetbuster?

Greg responds...

See, now, the Hulk is more powerful because the madder he gets, the stronger he gets. But the Thing can still beat him if he keeps his wits about him.

(This does seem familiar, doesn't it?)

Is oberon a god or creator?

Greg responds...

Of what?

I heard he made breakfast for Titania, the other morning. Does that count?

(No.)
