I have some Young justice questions for you Mr Weisman 1. Zatanna once told the team that ''All magic requires energy which usually comes from within'' Does this same principle apply with Martian magic as well? 2.Besides weddings, and entertainment purposes, What else does the yellow Martian order use there magic for? 3. Does Black canary ever wear a baseball cap or newsboy cap when not in costume ?

Greg responds...

1. Yes.

2. All sorts of stuff, I suppose.

3. EVER? Sure. I guess. Why not?

You've mentioned that Batman was raised as a Protestant Christian as a child. Does he still believe in God after his parents' died or did he, like his comics version, become atheist after their deaths. I guess I could also ask the same about Nightwing.

Greg responds...

I don't feel the need to lock this in for either character. I'm guessing it's not as simplistic an answer as flipping a switch.

When the team was captured and held hostage on the War World in Invasion, did they come up with a cover story to explain their disappearance to their schools and friends? And for the ones that were minors, what dd Dick tell their parents?

Greg responds...

Parents or guardians were all told the truth - or as much of it as was known at that time.

And, yes, cover stories were created to protect their secret identities, as needed.

When joining the Justice League, is a requirement to have at least two aliases (civilian and hero names)? I think everyone on the current League does but I might be missing someone…

Greg responds...

No. There's no requirement for any aliases.

Could you confirm the names of the two great leaders mentioned in Involuntary please?

The subtitles call them King Ma'arrun and Queen Sykara, but I'm sure I hear something more like King Ma'arell and Queen Jakara. I'm also suspicious about the lack of an apostrophe in Sykara.

Greg responds...

M'aarell and J'karaa.

In Cornered what else did M'gann and Conner talk about? Aside from telling him she brain fried Kaldur, did she tell him about the deep cover mission? that Artemis was still alive? or did they talk more about their relationship?

Greg responds...

Mostly they talked about her feelings of guilt.

Is Dick's apartment seen in issues 20 & 25 above the same warehouse used as the Team's temporary base from Cornered onwards?

Is this the same warehouse Dick, Kaldur, Artemis and Wally meet in at the end of Depths?

Greg responds...

1. No. Although it's not far away.

2. Hm. Maybe. I'd have to look again to see if that fits.

How is Vandal keeping Leaguers busy on Appellaxia?
What happened to Bear and Dreamer's relationship?

Loved M'comm's view of the Greens as "a superstitious and cowardly lot," by the way.

Greg responds...

1. No spoilers.

2. It's progressing slowly.

Thanks. That was fun for us, too.

How did you choose the Injustice League members? Were you working from a huge list of supervillains?

Greg responds...

I had compiled a large list of super-villains for the Light. After we made those seven picks, we returned to that same list for the Injustice League. Ultra-Humanite and Wotan had been major candidates for the Light, for example, before we settled on Brain and Klarion.
