in response to my question about England getting rid of their gargoyles you said, "England did a worse job than most." do you mean cuz there are still gargoyles in England a thousand years later or was there another reason you said this?
on a related note, when Bodhe said that the English rid their lands of gargoyles long ago... how long ago? obviously there was at least a clan or two around during King Arthur's reign and i can't see him allowing massacres and such. oh, and since we know of the London clan i realize that the English HAVN'T rid their lands completly of gargoyles, but when were the bulk of them banished/killed/whatever?
What other reason did you have in mind?
As for Bodhe, he wasn't exactly an authority. The English thought that their country was gargoyle free by Macbeth's time. It wasn't. What gargs there were left had just gone into hiding by that time.
obviously Elisa told Matt about many of the World Tour adventures (i.e. Hunters Moon- Easter Island Statues) did she tell him about the New Olympians? did she tell any other humans? did Goliath and co. tell the trio and Hudson about the New Olympians?
My guess is that Elisa told Matt some of their adventures, but not everyone. She probably left out the New Olympians as (a) not her secret to reveal and (b) not the most fun adventure for her.
But I'm guessing that either Goliath or Angela eventually told Hudson and the Trio EVERYTHING.
does the Manhatten clan have internet access? if so, or if they use Elisa's computer or whatever, have they met and made any friends on the internet, you know, in chat rooms and stuff? obviously, Lex seems the most likely to have made friends, just curious...
Yes, they do. And Lex has surfed the net. But his experience with the Pack makes him a bit hesitant to make friends. He lurks more often than not. Maybe he's lurking now.
About Garbeasts. Are they the same species as Gargoyles, bred from and breeding normal gargoyles?
If not, any ideas on how they came to such similiarities (the general style of appearance and the stonestuff)?
They're both gargates. The way humans and chimps are both primates.
Something that I've occasionally wondered about the Captain of the Guard. In the series, he's only known by his title, and his real name is never mentioned. Was that deliberate, in light of his choosing to identify himself with the gargoyles (who at that time didn't have personal names) instead of with the humans?
Yeah, that would be great and thematic. But I don't think we thought that out. Maybe Michael did.
Hey Greg, it's been awhile since I posted.
My question is
1) Was it Avalon's magic that enabled Goliath and co. to talk to Zafiro, Kai etc. during the world tour?
2) If yes then would the residents of New Olympus speak some Mediterranean language?
No. Those other guys spoke English. (Not exclusively, but they were clearly fluent.)
How did Josh McGrath turn into Max Steel exsactly?
He activated the Max-Probes in his body and clothes.
Where was Demona during the Civil and Revolutionary war,and what did she do?PS Gargoyles is the best show ever!)
Someplace. Lots of things.
if Sevarius (or anyone) cloned a human and speeded up the maturation rate would skin and hair pigmentation be different as it is for the garg clones?
i'm not asking for numbers or anything, but in 1996 what order, in terms of population, are these clans, most gargs to least:
Don't know. They're all full clans.
