How ofter does the London clan use magic? Are there any spellcasters besides Una? If so are they more skilled than her?

Greg responds...

I'm not going to quantify it.

And I'm not going to tie my hands one way or another on her clanmates.

ok, you said that after "MIA" when Griff, Una and Leo were revealed for what they were to that crowd that it "changed everything". how so? did they begin to interact with humans secretly as the Ishimura clan has done? if so its pretty interesting that at least two clans would be known by large groups of humans before the Manhatten clan was revealed!

Greg responds...

It is interesting, isn't it?

I'm not going to go into detail now, though.

ok, i know you've said that the English gargs are pretty much limited to what we saw in "MIA", but are there smaller differences in different English gargs. i mean, no two gargoyles ever look totally alike, right? but in a large English garg clan with only a few limited features, wouldn't they start to look pretty similar? are there different colors these gargs can have besides browns and whites? are there any that have legs more similar to a bird than a horse or a lion? are there any that have different kinds of wings or something?

it doesn't bug me that the English gargs look SO different from the other gargs we've seen around the world, and i know that that bugs some people... but it does bug me that the English gargs seem to be limited to only features we saw in "MIA"...

guess thats all i have to say about that, LOL!

Greg responds...

As usual, I get myself in trouble with these kind of questions. My point was that you weren't going to see gargs that resembled squirrels or something.

There are multiple combinations possible. Just take the three you know of and extrapolate and interpolate from there.

But I still reserve the right to not nail any of the visuals down at this point.

Were Leo and Una sorta treated as outcasts by the other english Gargoyles when they abandened their duties of protection?

Greg responds...

No. The whole clan had lost "the way".

any ideas yet why the English gargs have evolved to look like they do and so different from other garg clans?

btw, if you don't have an idea yet, i do! i really have a plausible and good idea why they look like that, but if you don't want to hear it...

Greg responds...

I don't want to hear it. Sorry. Breaks the rules.

My idea hasn't changed much. I think that gargates have what I've dubbed a "chameleon mutation gene".

Questions about MIA:
1) does the clerc who told the man that Leo and Una were wearing masks know that they are really gargoyles?

2) where does the man, who was being attacked by thugs, come from? He didn't sound british and the thugs were saying get out and keep england pure.

3)How did Leo and Una explane their gliding and cool manuvers to the crowd watching them at the end? I think it would take more then very real masks.

BTW, this is one of my favorite eps. My only complaint was that some of the germans looked a bit too evil.

Greg responds...

1. It was a customer, not a clerk. And she didn't know then.

2. He was Pakistani by birth. Why?

3. That ending changed everything.

1.Is one of the factors that Una was the leader of the London clan because she knew how to use magic?
2.What kind of magical stuff does Una sell in her ship?

Greg responds...

1. Probably didn't hurt.

2. She doesn't have a ship.

Just a quick question. Does "In to the Mystic" have any human employees, or is the shop only open at night?

Greg responds...

Both.

1) Who originally taught Griff's ancestors the "rookery poem" about Excalibur?

2a) Did the gargoyles that Arthur met during the years he was king also resemble lions, unicorns and griffons? b) Had he previously met any gargoyles of "Scottish stock" before he was introduced to Goliath and the Avalon clan?

3a) Was Arthur ever referred to simply as "Pendragon"? b) In the Gargoyles universe, how did the name "Pendragon" originate? In other words, what were the circumstances that led up to Arthur's father receiving that name? c) I'm asking the obvious, but what symbol and/or heraldic beast would be featured on Arthur's coat of arms?

Greg responds...

1. The three.

2a. Many did.

2b. Yes.

3a. Yes.

3b. Not going into that now.

3c. Look at the character. But Arthur was a Pendragon and the Bear of Britain.

How does Arthur get around in Pendragon? Where does he get the transportation to go to Antarctica, Stonehenge and Tintagel? Does Arthur have a base before New Camelot is found? Care to tell us where it is?

Greg responds...

Arthur is largely baseless. Though Griff and his friends are always welcome in London.

Transportation is an issue in the show. An on-going issue.
