Language barriers

1. So, Miss Martian downloaded English language into Forager’s mind so Forager could speak English. But Forager would still refer to Forager as Forager because Forager, like all bugs, have complex sense of self. But Forager also studied English language at Happy Harbor High School where Forager learned more about English language and also read works of William Shakespeare. But works of William Shakespeare still use English language version of pronouns, yet when Forager speaks and reads works of William Shakespeare, Forager would still speaks and reads with the absence of English language version of pronouns. Is this only Bug culture thing for Forager or has Forager still not yet learned how to read or write or speak using English language version of pronouns? NoOneSpecial must think it to be former as Forager must be very well versed in English language to be reading works of William Shakespeare.

2. I'm guessing that when Zod and Ursa are speaking, they are speaking in kryptonian. So, if Superboy can understand them, is it just another case of willing yourself to be understood in the Phantom Zone?

3. How about Lor-Zod and the Legionnaires? Are they speaking plain English from 1000 years in the future? I'd assume the Legion Flight rings have translators built in them. But what is Lor-Zod using to translate his words?

4. The Atlantean language is designed to be spoken underwater. What about the Martian language? Is it designed to be only spoken telepathically? Can you actually speak it aloud?

5. Do either Halo or Cyborg have the ability to translate languages?

It seems that in the Earth-16 universe, prolonged exposure to kryptonite causes Kryptonians to lose consciousness and their skin color to become a discolored pale green; as seen in the case of Lor-Zod. However, how come we don't see any blood veins pop up and turn dark green; assuming that kryptonite poisoning likely also affects a Kryptonian's blood inside their bodies? Did you decide not to do that because showing such a high level of severity of kryptonite poisoning would be considered too graphic?

In Zenith and Abyss, when Orion arrives on the Watchtower, he is accompanied by both the Boomtube sound and a Zeta designation. Was that just an oversight, or does the Watchtower have a mechanism for identifying Boomtube arrivals and verifying they aren't intruders?

Hello Greg, big fan of the show here and what you've been doing with Halo's character especially. But I admit, as a nonbinary person myself, it hurt to hear them be misgendered in YJ420. I did see and appreciate your twitter apology, but I wanted to ask if it was possible to re-record those lines with the proper pronouns? You may consider the damage already done, but it will not only improve rewatches of the show, but also save people from the misgendering if they discover the show later in its run. It's better late than never, and I've even heard it be done by other shows in the past (foreign dubs of The Owl House on Disney with their nonbinary character for instance, correcting the lines with neopronouns when the language didn't have a default gender neutral like we do). It would mean a lot if you could show us how important this is to you and to their character. I already watch the show with someone who misgenders Halo, and it's more difficult to correct him when the show itself still gets it wrong and makes him doubt whether their pronouns matter.

1. Why wasn't the Team more emotional after finally reuniting with Conner? For months they thought he was dead only to learn he's alive and after finally meeting him again, no one even cried?
2. How did the Team learn how to use telepathy in the Phantom Zone? They'd only been in there less than 2 days?
3. What happened to the Team's space belts they were wearing when they first entered the Phantom Zone?
4. Why didn't anyone think to prepare medical supplies for Conner? They knew he was injured and yet they didn't bring anything to help with his injuries?

I keep hearing discrepancies on the scale of the Green Lantern Corps. I know the show itself is set in the Milky Way, but the range of the Corp’s jurisdiction is still confusing to me. Tomar-Re said they had an entire “galaxy” to police and that statement implies the Corps is limited to just one galaxy, but in the comics the Corps jurisdiction is universal hence the Guardians being called the Guardians of the Universe. My question is: which is the Corps jurisdiction? Just the Milky Way Galaxy, or the entire universe as a whole.

How exactly does Green Lantern: The Animated Series fit into Earth 16's continuity. Guy Gardener appeared in the show, and John Stewart was name-dropped, but both were lanterns during Team Year Zero. Razer was also stated to have been looking for Aya for 4 years. Knowing that this season was taking place in 2020, it can be assumed that Razer began searching for Aya in 2016. But this doesn't make much sense as this would take place during the series finale where Razer left to search for Aya and in this same season, Guy and John show up for the first time. The two of them have been stated to only recently become lanterns but in the continuity of Earth-16, Guy and John have been lanterns well before 2016. This is making my brain hurt. Also while I have your attention, would Aya's appearance in Earth-16 match her counterpart in GL:TAS. (Meaning does she look the same)

In regards to the members of Earth-16's Infinity, Inc.:

#1. I'm honestly surprised that Fury's real name is not Erika Storn. But if her first name is actually Rosa, then what is her last name?

#2. What is Kobold's real name?

#3. Just for clarification, they are now called Infinitors, and are no longer called Infinity, Inc., correct?

#4. In the comics, Infinity, Inc. had other members (https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Infinity,_Inc._II_(New_Earth)) that have not yet been seen in the Earth-16 universe. As such, what are the chances that we will eventually see some, if not all, of those characters in a future season of Young Justice?

1) Is the Sentinels of Magic just a name Zatanna uses for her students, or is it a wider group? I ask because at one point in Odnu! Zatanna talks about them "becoming great sentinels of magic" which might suggest they are training to join a larger group.

When Captain Marvel/Shazam transforms, he is always hit by a bolt of lightning. We see in Cornered that he can use this offensively to harm foes, but in other episodes we see the lightning do no damage, such as in Triptych when he transforms and the truck he is in is undamaged.

Does Billy have the power to control whether the lightning effects things around him, or is it that it only strikes him and hits someone else if he is holding them?

So Lizard Johnny's metahuman ability gives him not only the physical traits of a Lizard, but also the abilities of lizards. For example he squirts blood out of his eyes when being threatened by those meta-haters. An ability belonging to the Horned Toad Lizard. But I have two questions regarding his powers.

1) When his Tongue made contact with the thug trying to threaten him, his Tongue gave off a type of Venom. Did the venom paralyze the thugs arm?

2) does he have other lizard abilities? Like Camouflage, regrowing of arms and legs, and other abilities like that.

1) Traditionally in DC comics, all the races of Mars were killed off in an genocide-like event caused by the more violent white martians. Are we to accept that Conner's sacrifice earlier this season prevented that from coming to pass?

2) More random, but you've mentioned before that Darkseid, Blue Beetle (Ted), and the Wonder Girls of Donna and Cassie were the four explicit characters you could not use in season one. I'm sure there must've been a lot of storyboarding before and after getting that edict, so was there ever a time when a Wonder Girl was on the original team? If so, can you tell us which one?

A: How do you choose characters from the comics to adapt, do you have an inherit knowledge of all the characters? Rictus was a very surprising addition to me, I would never have predicted Rictus would ever even be adapted.
B: Do you have any limitations to which characters will be adapted, could someone from recent or current runs get adapted?

In S01E24 Performance, I still don't get two things

1) Parasite was trapped into foam and had martians powers, why didn't he just phased through matter to free himself ?
2) Why did he had to wait Megan told him he was vulnerable to fire to be actually hurt by fire ?
3) Why invulnerability didn't protect him from the fire and the weakness took over the strength ?
4) How did Superboy recharge his powers faster than Superman ?

#1. You have previously mentioned that Wally's funeral took place in June 2016; meaning it was clearly sometime between June 20th and July 4th. As such, what was the exact date and location that the funeral took place?

#2. Who gave eulogies during Wally's funeral?

#3. During the funeral, did Wally's parents wrongfully blamed anyone for Wally's death; assuming they were both in a fragile emotional state?

#4. You mentioned before that Perdita met Beat Boy during Wally's funeral, but how exactly did she receive the news of Wally's death? I mean, was Kid Flash's death mentioned on the TV news off-screen in the Season 2 finale?

#5. Speaking of which, if Kid Flash's death was mentioned on the TV news off-screen, who broke the bad news to the world...? Was it Iris West-Allen (and I assume that she struggled not to emotionally break down while telling everyone; so that no one would figure out that she had a personal connection to Kid Flash), or was it someone else...? The reason I am asking this question is because when Artemis when to see Wally's parents, the look on their faces seemed to indicate that they already knew about Wally's death before she came by; as such, I assume they likely heard on the TV news.
