ALGERNON - Excellent point, though you might not want to call them sidekicks. :)

I was digging through the Ask Greg section and noticed that a lot of people wanted to know where to find digital comics for purchase online. I've been using comixology.com for a long time and find it's a great resource. Just thought I'd let you know!

I have considered that Greg Weisman should write a videogame for Valve, since neither of them can ever make it to the third installment of a series.
Jurgan - [jurgan6@yahoo.com]

I think another reason we haven't seen Starfire, Cyborg, Raven or Beast Boy is that, with the exception of BB and the Doom Patrol, none of them have adult counterparts. The whole Mentor/Sidekick thing is a big part of YJ's character dynamics.

Following up from Todd, here's the exact quote:

They were all on the master list of teen heroes, but for various reasons - including but not limited to their prominence in Teen Titans - they didn't make the cut to be part our main six.

Personally, I would be quite glad to see Victor/Garfield/Raven/Koriand'r at some point in the fullness of time, but I'm in no hurry. All of them were prominent members of the Silver Age Titans stories, which means it's more of a question of "when" over "if"...assuming, of course, that the series goes beyond two seasons.

[And for the record, if it doesn't, Masterdramon is going to kill somebody to death.]

Masterdramon - [kmc12009@mymail.pomona.edu]
"My little China Girl says, oh baby just shut your mouth..." - David Bowie

Greg Weisman once said that they're probably not going to do much (if anything) with the regulars from "Teen Titans" on "Young Justice" (apart from Robin), simply because they were so prominent in "Teen Titans". "Young Justice" is its own show with its own continuity.
Todd Jensen

Yeah, I mean Last Airbender a post ago, not Lost Airbender.
Antiyonder

Jurgan> If you haven't heard of this as well, I also recommend Avatar The Lost Airbender: The Lost Adventures.

It reprints the comics that appeared in Nick Magazine, the individual DVDs (Season Sets lacked the bonus comic) and comics that were originally unpublished due to Nick Magazine being canceled.

Antiyonder

Well seeing the debate I should clarify myself. When I meant a 'Teen Titans character' I meant more like Starfire or Beast Boy since they've yet to appear on the show

Why have I not heard of this? *Runs to order*

Jurgan - [jurgan6@yahoo.com]

Harlan: I was assuming (as I think Antiyonder was) that InfiniteZone was talking about the show "Teen Titans," rather than the comics.

...Since, by my count, virtually every character in YJ appeared at some point in the TT comics, being one of DC's longest-runners.

In any event, both Herald and Bumblebee are also arguable cases, since we've seen only their human identities in YJ and only their superhero identities (par to form) in TT.

Antiyonder: Well, Garth has shown up in both (albeit not as Aqualad in YJ, but still, he's the same guy).

And let's not forget Mammoth or Psimon, either.

Antiyonder

So, anyone else expecting a Teen Titans character to appear on Young Justice? :)
InfiniteZone - [musiclover1011@hotmail.com]

Here's a shock: Cartoon Network is actually coming to Canada later this year-Adult Swim & all! It's only been a 20 year wait. We won't just have to put up with just the watered down Canadian equivalent Teletoon anymore. Now if only Boomerang would follow...

The story is linked.

Some Geek: Now why on Earth would I have sex with a Zen Master? Though don't get me wrong, I'd be quite appreciative of his politeness if I did.

Antiyonder: Got my copy of "The Promise - Part I" last night and devoured it in about an hour or so. Great job at keeping the flow of continuity, and I love the fact that it appears to all be gearing up toward
the founding of Republic City.

Although...I don't think Ozai's going to be helping matters. Bad idea alert, Zuko! Bad idea alert!
Greg B: So many possible answers!
a) "Make me one with everything" (though I guess Elisa's punchline doesn't work here)
b) "Greetings" since surely the Zen Master would say hello in some form to him (or any one)
c) "Thanks for the night of great sex" cause, let's face it, the zen master would be polite about it

and the list of possibilities goes on ;)

Re: Klarion's age, this fairly recent AskGreg response sheds some rather...interesting light on that subject:

http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?qid=13979

Based on this description, Earth-16's Klarion is rather akin to Grant Morrison's interpretation of the New Gods - platonic concepts, set on a plane where they are given life and are able to interact. In "Final Crisis" it transpired that, for example, Darkseid was not merely a tyrant; he was tyranny.

I rather hope (and not just because I worship at the altar of Morrison, crazy as he is) that the inevitable Apokolips-16 version of Darkseid takes some cues from that interpretation, as it would help immensely in distinguishing him from his animated predecessors.

Masterdramon - [kmc12009@mymail.pomona.edu]
"My little China Girl says, oh baby just shut your mouth..." - David Bowie

I wonder if Klarion will be one of the five sorcerers whom the protagonists will battle in that episode. It would certainly fit the "all the adults have vanished" part (even if the Klarion of "Young Justice" is a lot older than he looks).

On Bishansky's creativity demon about Goliath and Colbert:

Christine Morgan once wrote a crossover fic between "Harry Potter" and "The Colbert Report" in which a wizarding version of Colbert becomes the new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, and among other things, describes the Death Eaters as cowards for wearing masks to conceal their identities whenever they're on the rampage. And Goliath, in "The Journey", makes a similar accusation of cowardice to Castaway. I don't know how much Christine's fic echoed the actual "Colbert Report", but it does make me wonder whether the interview Bishansky conjured up might involve hate groups and their efforts to hide behind aliases. (For that matter, I also recall Bishansky comparing Goliath's remark to Castaway to his own description of the Ku Klux Klan as cowards for hiding behind those pointed hoods.)

Off-Topic: Anyone here pick up Avatar The Last Airbender: The Promise Volume 1? So far it's spot on with the show. My minor comments:
Even if it didn't answer the question, it was interesting to see Ozai's response in regards to Ursa.

Enjoyed the Kataang moments and the oogies it gave Sokka, as well as both Aang & Zuko being right, while wrong at the same time.

May can't come soon enough.
MATT> <<A official press conference or whatnot, maybe, but not a show on Comedy Central.>>

There's always that chance Goliath wouldn't realize they were on Comedy Central. They tend not to tell people that unless outright asked when they approach people for the show.

Come on, a conversation between Goliath and Stephen Colbert would be spectacularly hilarious, and you know it. ;)

Congrats Greg Weisman for getting under 300 unanswered questions in the queue! (. . . what? I'm just followin' orders, lol)

Talk Shows: With all the Celebrity Hockey he watches, I'd personally be curious to see Hudson on live television.

Oh, and Bishansky, I'll be definitely be watching -- might be a day late, but these days, I can't miss a Daily Show with Jon Stewart or The Colbert Report . . .

Let's just hope that the talk shows never make the mistake of choosing Bronx or Fu-Dog for a guest (though that would make an amusing scene).

Even worse would be if the host displays too salacious an interest in the details of Goliath and Elisa's relationship (though Goliath and Elisa's response to such questions would also be worth seeing).

Cool, Greg. I'll think of you when I watch the "Daily Show" tomorrow morning on Hulu.

As for a gargoyle guest, I can't see Goliath doing something like this. A official press conference or whatnot, maybe, but not a show on Comedy Central. However, I can see Broadway doing this, ala "Broadway Goes to Hollywood".
