Had a great time at Wonder Con this year, it was great to see Greg again and I'm looking forward to his next project.

Kickstarter just crossed the 40% mark, lets hope this keeps up!

Really glad to see how the "Rain" KickStarter has been progressing. With any luck, this won't be the last successful KickStarter involved in bringing more material from the Ghost Keys to the general public.

*wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Also, since I mentioned it during my initial pledge...if anyone here is interested, I just added pics of all my swag from Kawaii Kon 2015 to my Flickr account.

It was definitely quite the haul this year. But between all this sweet art/autographs and my $200 donation to the KickStarter...yeeeeeeah, the last week of March was NOT good on my meager wallet. XP

Rain of the Ghosts Kickstarter is only $800 shy of 40% funding. So far, so good.

Rain of The Ghosts just reached 25% funding. Let's hope the momentum keeps up. In the meantime, here's a handy site for monitoring the Audioplay's progress...

Fun interview (we nailed down two of the roles for the AudioPlay!). Can't wait to see what the next wall of note cards is all about . . . .

Speaking of Rain of the Ghosts, I regret having not posted my AskGreg review on Amazon before this week, but adding a link to the Kickstarter in my review was the incentive that did the trick :)

And Happy April Fool's Day! Really looking forward to Greg's responses later today, hehehehe.

Seems like this all came out after I had met him, which was June last year. If I had known this, I would have passed on even talking with him or buying those lithos from him. I have to say again he never came out and said he designed the main cast, only that he worked on the show. I guess it was my bad too not to ask him what exactly he did design wise. I took notice that the sketches he had on the lithos were mainly from season 3. But if he is telling people he designed any of the main cast, I would be more annoyed with the whole experience with him.

This link on DeviantArt is quite telling, read the comments: http://nemonova.deviantart.com/journal/This-year-I-go-Pro-Mini-Tutorials-for-all-440518361

Also, his friend who came after me, Tom Cook, a quick Google search unearthed this thread: http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/showthread.php?247539-Filmation-Animator-Tom-Cook-stole-my-art-and-sells-it

Greg Bishansky

Brainiac: I'm proud to say that I contributed $200 of that total...despite having just blown $300+ on Kawaii Kon this past weekend.

But the ability to claim a unique, personal video shout-out from Steve Blum - a man who has voiced more favorite roles of mine than I could comfortably count on TEN hands - was simply too alluring to resist.

Best of luck with the project, to Greg and all the rest of the crew!

Thanks for the links, and your input. My main concern with getting Frakes to sign the litho was more about having him sign something by a guy who may have claimed he actually created the character. Fan art is one thing, but something that someone said "Yeah, I created this concept" is another, if you understand what I mean. I'm now leaning more toward him just signing a picture of Xanatos for me and having it personalized. If I got the litho signed, I was only going to have him put his name on it. So mainly it comes down to how much he's charging for an autograph and what I really want. Thanks again!

My memory wasn't so accurate, check out that article Gorebash linked to. It was a DEAR FIREND that wined on his dear friend's behalf. He appearently did work on the ENTIRE TGC Series! Wow! That's more than just a couple throw-away characters! Sorry! Big miss understanding on my part! Damn that Bishansky for damaging his career! Foolish summer child!

The Kurt guy designed a couple throw-away characters and the metal ring Lex is cuffed to in one episode of season three from what I gathered last year, that's it. It wouldn't be wrong to have it signed if you chose to. Personally, I'd get a piece of work I'm fond of get signed.

I feel like him flaunting that he worked on Gargoyles the way he does, no matter how little, is because of how small his resume is, like he's compensating. And then how he made a fuss in an interview that GregX is a big fat meany ruining his carrier! ;((((((

I really didn't want to hear about this guy again.

To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."

Jaded: Kurt Lehner worked on "The Goliath Chronicles". He was not involved with the first two seasons of Gargoyles in any capacity and as such could not have created the designs for any of the characters that were introduced during those first two seasons. Exactly what character designs he did for The Goliath Chronicles I do not know.

As for what Jonathan Frakes should or should not sign is 100% up to you. Whatever makes you feel most happy is what you should do and do not worry about what anyone else has to say.

But I will share the choice that I've made. At the last Gathering Marina Sirtis was doing a signing and I could pick between an image of her from Star Trek or a print of Demona fan art created by Kythera of Anevern titled "The Storm" (see: http://www.anevern.com/galleries/fan-art/). I picked the Demona print. I think it's awesome and have never had a single doubt, worry, or second thought about that choice.

I used to come lurk here some years ago, but haven't been back in forever. I came here hoping someone could shed some light on this for me. I met Kurt Lehner about a year ago back at a convention. He had said he was a designer on Gargoyles. He never claimed to me or my friend that he actually designed the main cast, just that he worked on the show. I was looking him up recently, since I bought his lithographs, and was planning on getting Frakes to sign the one of Xanatos. Though with all the things being thrown around about what he's claimed, and what exactly he did for the show, I'm now iffy about having him sign it for me (Which then I'm more than likely to have him just sign a photo of Xanatos for me that I'm sure he'll have on hand). From my understanding, he only worked on the third season. And as I've said, he never came out and told me or my friend that he actually created any of the main cast. Basically, does anyone have any info on what exactly he did design on the show? And in anyone's opinion, would be wrong to have Frakes sign the litho by Lehner since he didn't actually do the character design?
