There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

For those who are looking for great fanfic recs, the THIRD chapter in our very own Chip's TimeDancing Mayan saga Bloodstone was recently posted...

For the honor for Grayskull

I second that.

Continuing a conversation from last week - while we're waiting for more "Duck Tales" episodes, I highly recommend reading the collections of Carl Barks and Don Rosa's Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck comics, being published by Fantagraphics Books. Barks especially, since "Duck Tales" is based on his work, but Don Rosa has written some enjoyable stories following Barks' work. A lot of these involve actual history and legends, and well-researched at that. Volume Seven, "The Treasure of the Ten Avatars", contains much of these (a time travel visit to King Arthur - based on the theories about what the "real Arthur" was like - a search for El Dorado drawing on the actual history of the Spanish searches for El Dorado, including one remarkable incident; three expeditions to locate El Dorado in the 16th century, all independent of each other, met to their astonishment, and decided to team up and continue the search together, and the title story drawing on ancient Indian myth and legend, plus Alexander the Great's being forced to turn back from India's western edge), but also a story idea that we'd probably all like to see in "Duck Tales" at some point: Magica de Spell, the Beagle Boys, and Flintheart Glomgold decide to team up against Scrooge (at one point, commenting that the great thing about their alliance is that their goals don't clash: Magica wants Scrooge's No. 1 Dime, the Beagle Boys will be happy to let her have it as long as they get to loot the rest of Scrooge's money bin, and Flintheart doesn't care who gets them - he just wants to see Scrooge ruined, so it's all the same who robs Scrooge of his wealth).

Hufflepuffs are really good finders

Let's hope this week runs a little more smoothly.
