You had said that you *do* see Goliath and Elisa raising a kid together. So... What species kid? :-)

Greg responds...

That'd be telling...

Here's a new version of the old question:
Did Titania or Fox even let *you* in on what was whispered between them, or was it strictly a private thing?

Greg responds...

There are certain advantages to being the creator.

Okay, let me ask the 'faster-than-light' question in a different way: As far as I know, current scientific theory holds that all faster-than-light travel is to some extent time-travel as well, which can lead to paradoxes, etc.

So... my question is: In your universe is there faster-than-light travel which is *not* time-travel in any sense?

Greg responds...

Even faster than light travel isn't instantaneous (though it may seem to be depending on the distance travelled). So by definition, any journey takes one not only through space but also through time. Forward, at least.

I realize that isn't the kind of answer you were looking for.

And that amuses me.

1.I found some Gargoyles writers bibles/guides on ebay, how many of those were made? and how much would they be worth?

Greg responds...

How many were made? You mean how many were photocopied? And how many of those photocopies were photocopied? Etc. Etc.

And what would they be worth?

Zip.

Unless they were signed by someone significant. At which point they're worth whatever the autograph is worth. (And if that's me, then we're probably back to zip.)

I mean think about it.

Greg;

1) So if Disney owns the rights to gargoyles, and they are basically forgetting them, why do they want to hold on to the rights?

2) For 250,000,000 would they sell the rights?

3) If someone bought the rights, owened them, and aked you to created whatever you wanted with them, (IE the Master Plan, Pendragon, time Dancer, Etc.) Would you accept? I mean would you go ahead and make new shows, Etc.?

ALL IN THEORY, OF COURSE...

Greg responds...

1. Who said they've forgotten about it? They air the show EVERY night on ToonDisney. And they're developing a Live-Action movie based on it.

2. I'm not gonna dignify this. Sorry.

3. Of course. Let me know when you've raised the cash.

Dear Greg,

1)How would Tom's mother react to his relationship with the Princess?

2)Have you determined exactly why Tom and Katherine never had biological children of thier own?

Greg responds...

1. I think she'd be happy for him, and not a little impressed.

2. Not a lot of fertility specialists on Avalon.

What is the Stone of Destiny? Until now, I never gave it any thought, dismissing it as just another magical artifact... except no other magical object shown on Gargoyles had the ability to talk. What makes it so special?

Okay, I realize this is a very insignificant question, but it has been driving me nuts for quite some time. What is wrong with Banquo's eye? If memory serves me, it's his right eye that is sometimes drawn open, and other times closed, like it's been injured (at first I thought it was missing). Is there any reason why that I'm just missing? Thank you for your time.

Greg responds...

Banquo is Popeye's second cousin once removed.

To be perfectly honest, I think the model sheet showed him squinting, and the animators assumed that he was missing an eye or something and gave him a permanent squint. But from scene to scene the squint shifts. We didn't notice the problem until after "Lighthouse" and it was too late to fix it.

Thank you for being open to questions again.

One thing that annoyed me in the episode "Outfoxed" was that every one kept saying "wiped out" around 4 or 5 times regarding CyberBiotics failing. That repetition really felt juvenile and beneath this series. What happened? Did the writer forget a certain reference guide called a thesaurus?

Greg responds...

Jeez, Kenneth, you'd be a fun boss.

Anyway, I suppose you can blame Cary a bit, but every script went through me, so I'll take the heat. I don't remember this little detail, but for all I know, Cary may have only used the phrase once and I might have added in the other times. I don't remember. Sorry if you were disappointed.

Hi Greg! Someone once asked "Do gargoyles leave marks on hardwood floors" to which you responded "There's a smart-ass response in here somewhere, but I just can't find it." The smart-ass answer of course being something like "Doing what?" And now, I shall atempt to rephrase that question...

1) Since gargoyle claws leave marks in stone and steel, and it seems their feet have similar talons... Do gargoyle feet leave marks on hardwood floors when walking across a room with a hardwood floor?

Greg responds...

It's not that I didn't understand the question. It just struck me, no offense, as too silly to answer in any straight way.

And the funny thing is, it still strikes me that way.

But I liked your smart-ass response.

Dear Greg Weisman,
I have currently seen 2 episodes of Gargoyles, in GERMAN, and I think that it is the best animation-serie ever.
I understand rarely a entire sentence, usually two words in a sentence, and oftenly nothing.
Yet, it is pure quality from A-Z.
It doesn't get transmitted in my country, I am still trying to convince them, but they just don't get it.
When are you born?
I'd like to add you to my Celebrity Birthday Book.
I feature all the creator s of Sitcoms and general comedies and dramas.
But, you are missing cus I don't know ehn you're born.www.geocities.com/hollywood/chateau/6004/ActorArea/birth.html

Greg responds...

I was born on September 28th, 1963.

My social security number is ...

Wait a minute. Maybe I should keep a few things to myself.

In HERITAGE, when Raven in Gargoyle form first introduced himself to Goliath and Angela he had five fingers. Later when he again appeared as Gargoyle, he had four fingers. Was this an animation error or was it done on purpose as a sort of hint to Raven's true identity?

Uh....

A hint. Yeah. That's the ticket.

Greg, while at the Gathering, I was talking to Thom, who had this to say about Lexington:" But, I'm a virgin..."
I suppose, there has to be a celebate Gargoyle,eh?
Is this what you had in mind for the character? Or, does he get his jollies, through cyber-sex?
Personally, I don't care if he ever finds a mate...

Greg responds...

What's the question?

Are you asking if Lex is a virgin or Thom?
