To add to what Matthew said, Greg W. has actually addressed this a couple of times. For example:

In other words, the ending of "Bloodlines" is intended as a fakeout of viewer expectations. In truth, the moment Bart traveled back in time, the timeline was altered to the one we see in the subsequent 14 episodes, with the Reach Apocalypse averted.

Nathaniel Tryon jumped to the conclusion that the Apocalypse had still occurred, because his surroundings (Mount Justice) were still in ruins.

But Mount Justice wasn't destroyed by the Reach Apocalypse, as we now know. Kaldur blew it up to maintain his cover.

Presumably, Nate eventually left for Happy Harbor on the mainland and found it perfectly fine, but this wasn't shown to the viewers to preserve suspense throughout the Reach arc.

Welcome to the comment room Asher! Unfortunately Greg doesn't often frequent the chat, usually because he's hard at work on another project. However if you'd like to ask him any questions you can submit them here: http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/ask.php

Be sure to read through the guidelines before submitting any questions and be aware that your questions may fall under the No Spoilers policy.
And in the meantime welcome.

Muscles fade and the mind dulls. But as long as the heart is willing, strength remains.

Hi Greg, in Season 2 of Young Justice when Bart stops Nuetron he does change the future just not exactly how he expected. I don't want to know wether this plot point will be touched on in the next season just wondering wether it's been discussed as possible to show up again? And if it has been discussed wether or not it will be featured again have you guys figured out what has caused the future to still be decimated? I tried to make this as non spoilery as possible so I hope it worked. I am suuuuuper excited for Season 3 and I can't wait for the first teaser whenever it comes!

Thanks!!! Asher

Very cinematic, reminds me of the Uncharted series.
On another note, kinda nice to see Mr. Negative in the game. Hopefully we'll be seeing more less well known characters show up.

It's nice to see a new game about everyone's favourite arachnid.

For the spidey fans among us:

Looks like it's taking a lot of influence from the Arkham games for it's combat/stealth takedown sections. Which I'm fine with.

Too many quick-time events, though.

See, Masterdramon? After your argument in favor of it being sufficient anniversary recognition, even YOU don't count Federation Force as a Metroid game.

Prime 4 is nice and all, but Samus Returns gets a HUGE amount of side-eye from me.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

Here's to the first Metroid game in SEVEN years! :D
