does demona have any other childern besides angela?
nope
At the end of "Temptation", Elisa tells (commands?) Goliath (under the spell) to always act as if he was not under a spell. I'm assuming this means for all spells and not just that particular one he was under. If this assumption is correct, how would Goliath be affected by Puck's spells in "The Mirror"? I want to say there are other times he's been under a spell, but I haven't seen too many episodes on Toon Disney yet (I just got the station) and I'm cursed with a poor memory.
You're assumption is incorrect.
She didn't (couldn't) give him full magical immunity. She didn't have that kind of control. She simply ordered the slave to act FOREVER as if he wasn't one.
What were your plans for Goliath and Angela ?
Extensive.
Hi Greg
Ok now am I too assume correctly that when the 78 ( 39 biologically) year old Brooklyn returns from his dances he is stronger than he was when he left right? I mean he had been fully grown by that time and plus the perils of the dance could cause for a greater need to thicken up.
So the big question,
Can the (39) year old Brooklyn hold his own or maybe even win in a fight against the (29) year old Goliath?
Thanks
Why would they fight?
when did you and the writers decide that the clan was going to move into the Clocktower? was it right from the beginning or from the first appearence of the Clocktower in "Deadly Force"?
I don't know what "from the beginning" means, exactly. But long before we wrote episodes for the show, when it was still in development, we knew that the situation in the Castle would be untenable. So Paul Felix designed the Clock Tower.
Why would the Weird Sisters care if Goliath knew that the Gate, Eye and Grimorum was stolen?
They didn't want him looking for them.
Hey, I've read a while back somewhere that you said that you were going to have puck play his flute to temporarily put oberon in some kind of trance. and also that you were going to name him goodfellow instead of puck. also that ransom was going to be an episode with puck and other tricksters. (that idead would of totally rocked) anyways where i am getting at is puck is my ablosute favorite character. my friends and family actually wanted to get me help cause i have printouts of him all over my house. it worries them :P i was wondering if you had any ohter plans for him, or if like there were other ideas such as the flute thing that you guys were going to use. just brainstorming maybe that wasn't actually in the show. i'm just trying to dig up as much information as i can about him. thanks for taking the time to read this.
Yes, I had other plans. (Though maybe it's NOT such a good idea to feed your obsession.) Have you read Rudyard Kipling's Puck of Pook Hill?
What other characters were suppose to join the Redemption Squad besides Robyn, Harry, Matrix, Fang, Yama and the director?
The Director doesn't join the Squad.
And no one else is a permanent member.
What were the Redemption squad created to do?
The dirty jobs.
You said that in the future the Castaways and Monmouths would be in conflict with each other so who does Jon marry somebody to have kids or does he adopt kids to continue his line? If he marries who does he marry?
Not answering that now.
Will you, one day, do the ramblings on the last Starship Troopers episodes (the ones that never aired, not the clipshows)?
I'm not sure what you mean by "do the ramblings".
We're still hoping those last three Starships will get made for DVD. (A real possibility if the DVDs sell well.) Until I know they AREN'T going to DVD then I'm reluctant to reveal anything.
How does Xanatos exploit the New Olympians?
Any way he can.
Does the weight of a gargoyle increase when they turn to stone?
Ask the floor.
With regards to bringing back Gargoyles episodes.
A. I'm all for your choide to get rid of TGC. The show went way downhill from that, probably because Disney decided story arc and evolving characters was too much quality.
B. To who's ass do I email a kick saying "Bring Gargoyles back into production"?
Well, no one. NOt with that attitude. A hostile letter is going to be ignored as a crank. If you're interested in helping, then a reasoned appeal might help a little. But an organized letter writing campaign would help more. NOTE: Letters. Not e-mails.
In Avalon 2, when Archamge 2 talk to Archmage 1, he says he' ll need many things: weapons, allies, soldiers, a base of operation, etc
Weapons: Eye of Odin, Grimorum, Phoenix Gate
Allies: Weird Sisters
Soliders: Demona, Macbeth
Base: Avalon
Beside those mentioned, did any others things/people were plan by the Archmage?
Huh?
No. If I read you right.
(PROOFREAD, GUYS!)
What is Xanatos's mother's first name?
Not saying at this time.
This is another stupid question.. but you've said before that when one of your voice actors had a busy schedule that he/she could not get out of, you simply got another actor to play the part, like what happened with Maria Chavez and Margot Yale. What happened when one of the main characters' voices was unavailable? (Keith David, Thom Adcox, Marina Sirtis..) Did you postpone the recording session or something?
Thanks!
We postponed recording them. We'd record the other actors and get Keith or whomever when we could. It wasn't usually too long a wait.
Did the Castle Wyvern clan keep track of their history?
If so, how? It seems as though the lack of personal names would make that more difficult.
They kept track of clan history, orally. Individual achievement meant less to them, socially.
If Proteus is a villain for NO then how does he get off New Olympus to menace our protagonists or does he stay on NO?
I'm not going to get into the specifics of how he escaped at this time. But he does.
Why does Terry and Sphinx fall in love with each other? Afterall Sphinx isn't even human?
And Terry isn't even Olympian. And Romeo wasn't a Capulet. And Juliet wasn't a Montague.
Why do any two people fall in love?
What an odd question.
Why would the Eternal looking NOs think that humans would worship them?
Cuz once upon a time they did. And cuz they have power. And cuz they want to believe it.
What other New Olympians were you planning to introduce besides Ekidna, Medusa, Chiron, Jove, Helios, Boreas and his son?
Eventually, lots. But you've covered the biggies for the time being. (If you throw in Taurus, Talos, Sphinx and Proteus.)
BTW. Kiron. Not Chiron.
What's with all the "anonymous" posts, anyway?
What are Talos and Taurus's function in the show? Are they also ambassadors to the UN?
Also? Taurus is the primary ambassador from New Olympus. Talos is his advisor. Sphinx is an aide.
You said that Sphinx was a student so what does she study?
Among other things... humans.
Hi Greg,
You refer to Demona and Macbeth as "foot-soldiers" in the context that the Weird Sisters used them for (or sought to use them for). Isn't that a bit of an under-title for them? Why go through all the trouble of obtaining Demona and Macbeth if only to use them as "grunts"? First off, isn't the entire purpose of foot-soldiers/grunts to have a lot of them? Merely two suggest specialization, and indeed, they seem to have been chosen because they were special. What was the Archmage's motivation behind obtaining these two in particular, and any two in general? Did he just not want to have to get his hands dirty with "menial" tasks? Did he want the ego boost of having underlings? Were Demona and Macbeth candidates because they were "the best" and therefore more of an go boost?
Terms like "foot soldier" and "cannon fodder" were clearly used by the Archmage to make him feel more important. In fact, he was cherry-picking very talented warriors.
Or one might argue, he had nothing to do with the selections. How did he even know about Macbeth? Sure his older self told him, but how did he know? Sure HIS older self told him, but how did he know? And so on, and so on, and so on...
