Was Raven's gargoyle form and his "clans" looks physically characteristic of the kind of gargoyles that would have been found in North America or Canada before they went extinct?
Not necessarily. He was modeling the forms off the totem poles, which as Natsilane stated were NOT based on gargoyles.
If Demona really thought she and the Manhattan clan were the last of their species why did she keep trying to kill them? Isn't her motivation to save her species? How could she do that if she's the only one left? Did she know more about the other clans than she made out?
Her motivations are far more complex -- and frankly screwed up -- than simply stating she wants to save her species.
As for what she knew or knows, I'm not going to reveal that at this time.
What's the largest clan by 2008?
I'm not going to reveal that at this time.
What is the smallest clan as of 2008?
I'm not revealing that at this time.
Were there any gargoyles living in Australia?
I'm not answering this at this time.
In the present day, let's say October 31, 1996, would you say the total world-wide gargoyle population - not counting eggs or gargoyle beasts - is somewhere between 400 and 600?
I wouldn't say... one way or another.
By the time of the French revolution, were there any gargoyle clans left on mainland Europe?
I'm not answering this at this time.

Lexington continues his journey.
A few weeks ago, we had a discussion in the s8 cr about the size of gargoyle clans and what would/might constitute a full gargoyle clan.
1)Do you have a formal definition of what a full gargoyle clan is (in terms of size and/or egg laying capacity)?
1a)If so, would you share that definition with us?
I have no fixed definition, as location and resources define the appropriate size of any clan. So the "definition" would differ from place to place.
I think I've said in the past, that in Wyvern in the tenth century, a normal clan ranges from about 40-80 individuals (not including eggs).
Do you have how the gargoyle population of the present day makes it the point it reaches in March 2198 roughly mapped out?
Roughly, yes.
