I have a question about this response you gave to Rebel:

Rebel writes...
Which part of the world did gargoyles first arise in? For example, humans apparently arose in Africa and then migrated almost everywhere else, and then evolved. I'm curious to know which continent gargoyles first came from. If you'd care to narrow it down even further, that'd be great, since a continent is a really big place.

I did a search to see if this had already been answered, but I didn't see anything. If you've answered it already and I missed it, my apologies.

Greg responds...
Pangea.

Response recorded on April 22, 2009

Did you mean that the gargoyles species as it exists today originated on Pangea or that gargates as a whole originated on Pangea?

Greg responds...

The latter, probably. But let's talk about it in person in August, 'kay?

Was Raven's gargoyle form and his "clans" looks physically characteristic of the kind of gargoyles that would have been found in North America or Canada before they went extinct?

Greg responds...

Not necessarily. He was modeling the forms off the totem poles, which as Natsilane stated were NOT based on gargoyles.

Hey Greg
I've just watched the last episode of season two and I'm askin' myself - when you introduce a character by his name (like Gragan in the last episode, or Ben Reily) just for 2-3 seconds, do you plan to include them to the storyline or just for making us glad that we heard the name of Reily (cuz lots of people wanted Reily to be part of the show)?
And one more - God, how do you come up wit this stuff - the storyline, the relationships? (You're awesome)

Greg responds...

SPIDEY SPOILERS!!!!

When did you hear the name Reilly? I honestly don't recall putting that in anywhere. It is, of course, May Parker's maiden name. But I don't even recall using it for that.

As for Gargan, I've already stated that Scorpion is part of our proposed Season Three.

Would you make an episode with Spider-man 2099 (aka Miguel Ohara, Parkers successor in the future)?

Greg responds...

I honestly don't know if I have the rights to that character.

1) If The Spectacular Spiderman gets a third season, will Aunt May, Betty Brant and Robbie Robertson get more screentime than they did in season 2? They were criminally underused in season 2.

2) If there's a third season, will Debra Whitman actually speak and be an important part of certain episodes?

Greg responds...

1. I've answered this before. Check the archives.

2. No comment.

Hello Greg,

About the Third Race: You've said that a Child of Oberon can recover from anything, as long as they aren't killed. When Oberon was very nearly killed with the iron harpoon, he recovered in just a matter of minutes, which was quite remarkable. But he's Oberon, he's much more powerful than most of his vassals.

When Anansi was stabbed with the spear and "bled" of some of his magical energy, he appeared to die but escaped by becoming much smaller. How long did it take Anansi to heal or recover? Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? I'm not asking for an exact number, of course.

Thanks!

Greg responds...

I'm glad you're not asking for an exact number, because my response is "a while". It took a while for him to recover. I hope that's inexact enough.

On the garg wiki page for the Avalon Clan you have pics of fourteen different gargoyles? I love their designs particularly the aquatic looking blue male. Any chance you could assign them names? I know you have named at least five of them already you just haven't stated which gargoyles the names belong to?

Greg responds...

They all have names, including those not yet pictured. But I'd rather reveal them in the context of a story than just spew them out here.
