Itâs a real shame that you decided to end up Chalant. Even if I believe thatâs the worse decision youâve made regarding this show I canât blame you for that, itâs still your show and do you do whatever you want after all. But did you really needed to do it like that ? Like breaking their relationship out of nowhere, without any explanation when everything seemed to be perfect in their relationship ? Whenever people ask you why they broke up, your only answer is « no spoilers » and you keep saying that since 2011 but here we are in 2022 like literally 11 YEARS LATER and still not an official answer, all we have are fan theories. Why donât you just say it ? At this point Iâm not even asking you to bring them back just to respond to a simple answer so I can get over this ship PLEASE.
I mean, the simplest answer is that not every high school relationship lasts into adulthood. Frankly, the fact that we had two couples that did, is already a bit of a stretch. I know it happens - I have an in-law who's married to her high school sweetheart. But most of my friends and relatives are not still coupled with the folks they were happily seeing in their early teens.
If you're looking for some BIG REVELATION as to why they broke up, I don't know that I have one that would satisfy you in a forum like this. It's a story to be told someday. Or a set of stories, really, involving both what brought them together and the many factors (small and large) that ultimately broke them up. I have a notion as to why Dick is a serial monogamist, and why it took someone like Barbara to finally nail him down. And I have notions as to what's going on in Z's love life, as well.
It should be obvious that Dick and Z are still friends, still on good terms, even still attracted to each other. But they've moved on. It's okay if you still mourn that ship, however. I certainly see its appeal. And, in any case, everyone's mileage varies. But we try to let our characters tell us where they're going. And this is what they told us.
1 Why did G. Gordon insult gretchen and her devices on his show if they are both on the same side
2 Have ultra humanite and granny goodness always disliked each other
1. They're competitive - but he also wanted her to seem sympathetic to the audience.
2. I don't think they've known each other all that long. But I think it was becoming increasingly clear that Granny wasn't fully servicing the Light's agenda nor was she big on obeying the Light's bylaws of cooperation. For her part, I think Granny has some barely hidden contempt for all mortals.
In the YJ-verse are Kryptonians considered stronger than (Greek) Gods and demi-gods?
I think you'd have to evaluate that on a case-by-case basis.
Does Arsenal still act too recklessy when dealing with lex luthor. Or has he managed to keep his anger under control.
As of when?
Mr. Weisman,
In regards to Dick's uncle, aunt, and cousin in the Earth-16 continuity, are they from his paternal side of his family since they all shared the last name of Grayson?
Yes.
(Didn't that seem obvious?)
Mr. Weisman,
In regards to the Earth-16 version of Thirteen's parents, are their names Terrence "Terry" Thurston and Meihui Lan-Thurston; with the latter's maiden name being Lan?
You're right about her dad. I'd have to research her mom's name before I could confirm.
Mr. Weisman,
In the Earth-16 continuity, are the full names of Barry's parents Henry Paul Allen and Nora Thompson-Allen; with the latter's maiden name being Thompson?
I'd have to do research to confirm that.
how did you cast Maggie Q as Wonder Woman?
Um. Brandon and Jamie and I discussed it. Thought she would be great, based on her work as Nikita. Offered her the role (probably through her reps). She said yes (probably through her reps).
Was cyborgs Outsider designation D08 before he joined the League? And did the D06 designation get skipped in memory of Brionâs time on the Outsiders?
Brion's Outsiders designation wasn't skipped in memory of him. It was his before he left the Outsiders. And (with the exception of the hijacked designations briefly assigned to Vandal, Klarion and Teekl), designations are not reused.
And yes, Cyborg had an Outsiders designation before he joined the League, at which point he received a League designation.
As for specific numbers, the policy has generally been not to reveal them outside canon material.
1. Did Arsenal and the 4 Runaway Meta-teens (Virgil Hawkins, Asami "Sam" Koizumi, Tye Longshadow and Eduardo "Ed" Dorado, Jr.) ever learn about how Kaldur faked his betrayal, Artemis faked her death and how Nightwing kept them both a secret from the Justice League and the Team?
2. If they have then how did they react to it after learning about it?
1. Eventually.
2. I'll leave that to your imagination. But I'd think that their reactions weren't too different from those we depicted on the series - except for the fact that none of them had any real relationship with (or even knowledge of) Artemis. And only Arsenal had any ties to Kaldur or Dick.
