Why was M'comm so surprised that M'gann went after him for Conner's death? He had to expect what would happen. He killed his own sister's fiancée! Also what was his reaction when he learned that Conner died instead? Does he even feel the sightliest bit of guilt and remorse for what he did to Conner or M'gann for that matter?
I'm mostly inclined to let what was on the screen speak for itself. I don't think he was all that surprised she went after him, although I haven't watched it in a couple years probably. But I think it's very clear he has little remorse. He was prepared to die himself for his cause, so any other sacrifices seem merely necessary to him.
Who thought of Psimon and Devastation? (as an item)
It just seemed to evolve out of character. But I think I pushed for it a bit more than the rest of the crew. Maybe.
I do understand that you wanted to show that everyone doesnât marry their first love with the example of Chalant. But why did you choose Barbara Gordon as Dickâs endgame ?
One of the reasons Chalant gets so much love is that we finally got to see Dick sincerely loving and being serious with someone else that Barbara or Kory.
Dickbabs already is endgame in nearly every single continuity they are in ( the comics + every animated Batman series or movie, and they are canon in the main continuity ) DC even black listed Dickkory to promote this couple, there is clearly enough ( too much ) Dickbabs.
I even used to ship them but by seeing them together everywhere, everytime it just disgusts me of them tbh.
It would have been perfect If you stuck to idea of allowing Grayson to be with someone else, Dickbabs is overused and doesnât bring anything new or fresh to the show and is such a shame.
Young Justice is one of my favorite shows and you canât imagine how enormously disappointed i was when i first watched episodes 6 of season 3, I really had hope that i would finally see Dick being endgame to another girl.
I don't really understand your logic - except as the logic of a contrarian. By that argument, we shouldn't have done Clark/Lois, Barry/Iris, Oliver/Dinah, etc., etc., etc.
Extend your argument to its logical conclusion, and we shouldn't have done any known superheroes at all, because you've seen them before.
But we're adapting existing characters and existing stories and the existing versions of the DC Universe. That was the gig. And, of course, the love lives of these characters are part of what we're adapting. Obviously, we're not afraid to shake things up when it feels right and/or necessary. But changing stuff for the sake of changing stuff isn't ever what YJ was about. And I think it's bad adaptation.
We did OUR TAKE on Dick/Barbara. Just as we did our take on Dick/Zatanna. Just as we did our take on Dick/Robin/Nightwing and Barbara/Batgirl/Oracle and Zatanna/Zatanna, as individuals, even though you've seen those characters many, many times before.
And, FYI, you don't know what our endgame is or was. Because, among other things, I don't deal in endgames, as my motto is "Never the End..."
How did the Gardita fans react to Garfield logan after the Gardita fans learn Garfield's breakup with Queen Perdita?
I imagine some were sympathetic and others were hostile and some were hurt and others were confused and some just wanted them back together and others moved on to a different ship. If you were expecting a monolithic response, then, well... that's just not how the human race works.
Why was it part of the plan of young justice season 4 that beast boy would breakup with Perdita over Garfield's deep depression over conner's death but only to reunite m'gann and conner later in season 4 and not also reunite beast boy with Perdita in a dating relationship later in season 4?
From our point of view, the why was being honest storytellers. The truth is that some relationships don't survive trauma. Others do. Also Megan and Conner are relatively-speaking much older than Garfield and Perdita. It's not always your first love that goes the long haul. Sometimes, but not always.
1. When Superman was in space in season 3, did he and Conner ever share video calls like Troia and Diana?
2. Why did Conner wait so long to tell Clark about his and M'gann's engagement? Couldn't he have told him via video call or something?
3. How long exactly were Wonder Woman, Superman, the Hawks etc in space in season 3?
4. In the season 2 finale, why did Batman directly asked Aqualad what happened? When they left, everyone still thought Aqualad was a traitor and yet Batman didn't hesitate to ask him about the situation. Does this mean, Batman may have been aware of the deep cover mission or had an idea about what was going on?
5. How long did it take for everyone (both the Team and Justice League) to truly trust and forgive Kaldur, Dick and the others after learning about the deep cover mission. Example how long did it take for Aquaman to forgive his former protege and begin to trust him again?
1. Yes. But not often.
2. Things got busy for both parties.
3. All of it, as I recall.
4. Yes.
5. It's a process. There are residual issues even today, probably. But, for example, you saw La'gaan forgive him in real time. And clearly by Season Three, Orin had forgiven Kaldur enough to make him the new Aquaman.
1. How did Conner manage to keep his plans to propose to M'gann a secret from her considering she is psychic?
2. Did Conner tell anyone about his plans to propose to M'gann or did he simply keep it a secret from everyone?
3. By the time Conner went on the Markovia mission with Dick, Artemis and Jeff, did they know about his and M'gann's engagement at that time?
4. When and how did Conner and M'gann tell everyone they were engaged? Did they gather everyone at the Watchtower to inform them of the news, social media or any other kind of way?
5. After the proposal what did Conner and M'gann do for the rest of their day/time together before he left for his mission to Markovia?
1. She doesn't invade his mind. He knows how to keep thoughts private, i.e. off the surface level of their psychic communication.
2. Um. Hm. You know, I haven't thought about that. Clark clearly didn't know. Maybe Lois? Or Martha and Jonathan?
3. Well, it wasn't a secret. But I'm guessing not.
4. I don't know. But I tend to think they just waited to see if folks noticed the ring.
5. I'll draw the curtain (or the blinds) on that question and let you imagine your own possible scenarios.
When Conner and M'gann lived in the Cave did they eventually start to share a room together as they years passed and if so did one of them move out after they broke up?
No. I'm not saying they never visited each other's room, but they always had their own rooms in the Cave.
Do Roy and Will visit Geranium City? Does Jim visit his brothers in Star City?
I mean, you've seen Jim in both places.
In my head, Jim basically lives in Star City but visits Geranium City often. But all three have at least visited Geranium City. Jim spends more time there, but he doesn't have a daughter to raise. Roy probably spends the least time there. But he's not a genomorph, so that's understandable.
The Phantom Stranger's voice reminds me of Rod Serling's. Were you going for this?
Not consciously. And not particularly likely. Certainly, Brandon Vietti and I never discussed going for that with either voice director Jamie Thomason or actor D.B. Woodside.
