1. Is Dick Barbara’s first love ?
2. Is Barbara Dick’s first love or was it Zatanna ?
3. Is Dick Zatanna’s first love ?
4. How does Jim Gordon feel about Dick being his daughter’s boyfriend ?

Greg responds...

1. Yes.

2. I guess it depends on how you define "first love".

3. In essence.

4. He's good with it, I would think.

Hey there Greg I have some questions about the light this time.

We do know being a member gives you a lot of status in the villain/under world side of things, but what happened to members that get replaced?

Say OceanMaster and Blackmanta were once respected but now they killed the former, and the light is indifferent With Blackmanta being under Amanda Waller’s control.

1.-Does that mean that once members get expelled they lose all worth the light? And I don’t mean “worth” as in how they also use the heroes as tool , but how say a retired Justice or president still gates benefits and respect.

2.- Why was Rhas Al gul not “disgraced” after abandoning the light
3.- We know Rhas Al gul retired from the light, and as head of the “league of shadows”. But are the shadows still loyal to him as the even if i’s unofficially?

Thank you, Greg.

Greg responds...

1. It's all situational. Certain failures land one out of favor. Manta not realizing his own son was a mole was considered a BIG failure. Ocean-Master was granted all respect but refused to stand down from the Nuclear Option. Lex Luthor on the other hand is still viewed as a worthwhile member of the Light, despite his public shaming, legal problems and need to retrench.

2. "Abandoning" is a strong word. He resigned and handed over one of his major assets (the League of Shadows) to the Light. Plus he and Vandal are old friends.

3. You'd have to poll each Shadow individually, I suppose, and hope for honesty and self-awareness if you wanted to trust their answers. And even then, it's bound to be situational.

In the comics, Troia is a name that Donna Troy takes after she learns of her connection to the Titans of Myth. Since Brandon Vietti and yourself have gone with the "Troia" version of the character for Earth-16, this implies that Earth-16 Troia has an origin that involves the Titans of Myth. Troia's look in Young Justice certainly evokes the "Titans of Myth" origin for her character (with some differences in YJ, of course), and in that version of her origin, the Titans of Myth provided her with an array of mystical gifts. Does she possess these gifts in Young Justice (or did she have them during the five-year gap between seasons 1 and 2, at least)?

I'm not sure how guarded you are about Troia's origin and details surrounding it... I'll take the risk that this question might be deleted by the mods. Perhaps you can give at least a hint in answer, please, if you feel that that's appropriate.

Greg responds...

No hints, I'm afraid, beyond the hints from the series itself. And I wouldn't take it for granted what origin we have in mind. (I will say it's a mix.)

Who thought of Psimon and Devastation? (as an item)

Greg responds...

It just seemed to evolve out of character. But I think I pushed for it a bit more than the rest of the crew. Maybe.

1. When Superman was in space in season 3, did he and Conner ever share video calls like Troia and Diana?
2. Why did Conner wait so long to tell Clark about his and M'gann's engagement? Couldn't he have told him via video call or something?
3. How long exactly were Wonder Woman, Superman, the Hawks etc in space in season 3?
4. In the season 2 finale, why did Batman directly asked Aqualad what happened? When they left, everyone still thought Aqualad was a traitor and yet Batman didn't hesitate to ask him about the situation. Does this mean, Batman may have been aware of the deep cover mission or had an idea about what was going on?
5. How long did it take for everyone (both the Team and Justice League) to truly trust and forgive Kaldur, Dick and the others after learning about the deep cover mission. Example how long did it take for Aquaman to forgive his former protege and begin to trust him again?

Greg responds...

1. Yes. But not often.

2. Things got busy for both parties.

3. All of it, as I recall.

4. Yes.

5. It's a process. There are residual issues even today, probably. But, for example, you saw La'gaan forgive him in real time. And clearly by Season Three, Orin had forgiven Kaldur enough to make him the new Aquaman.

When Conner and M'gann lived in the Cave did they eventually start to share a room together as they years passed and if so did one of them move out after they broke up?

Greg responds...

No. I'm not saying they never visited each other's room, but they always had their own rooms in the Cave.

1) In "Inhospitable", we specifically see Beast Boy depositing his saliva into the Bio-Ship. Not long afterwards, Bio-Ship goes into the "mating cycle" (of sorts... I'm just referring to it as that, although I know that it's "more like cell division") and Baby is born. Did Beast Boy's DNA (which was present within Bio-Ship) affect the process of cell division and Baby's birth in any way? Did it have an effect on it? (By the way, I loved the Mars arc -- it was a joy to finally delve into that aspect of M'gann's background!)

2) We know that Troia joined the Team in Team Year Two and left in Team Year Five. When did she first debut as a superhero or heroic figure?

(I think it's fair game to ask this since questions about when, say, Stephanie Brown debuted as Spoiler have been asked and answered. In Troia's case, the basic question has to be re-worded because as far as we know, her original name was Troia, just as Superboy was Superboy before he was Conner Kent or Kon-El, so it's not as though I can ask when Donna Troy debuted as Troia. So I'm asking when Troia became a "hero".)

3) In "Agendas", Wonder Woman seemed quite hostile towards the idea of Batman indoctrinating a young Robin into crime-fighting, even citing his age (nine years old at the time he debuted as a hero) in a manner that suggested that she disapproved. Something must have changed since she had to deal with Troia being a member of the Team for a few years (whether she liked it or not... obviously we the viewers do not know) and then later took on Cassie/Wonder Girl as her protege. Did Troia's origin as a hero help Diana to overcome her worries/concerns about taking on a young apprentice?

Greg responds...

1. I'm thinking no. (Frankly, this is an idea masquerading as a question, and I really should kick it. But I'm feeling generous.)

2. Depends what you mean. She wasn't a public hero like Kid Flash or Robin. She was a Team operative like Superboy or Miss Martian.

3. With Troia, it has to do with her origin, and I'm not offering spoilers on that. With Cassie, she basically pulled a nicer version of "Get on board or get out of the way." But having had Troia as a protegee already, probably helped.

1.What on earth is wrong with Barbara ? Why was she acting so petty and showing attitude towards Zatanna in S2E18 ?
2.Was she jealous because Zatanna is Dick’s ex or something ?

Greg responds...

1. I honestly don't know what you're referring to, and I have to think you're reading something in that isn't there.

2. As shown in our companion comics, Barbara is definitely not jealous of Zatanna.

Greg responds...

1. I think so.

2. I think so.

3. I think he lost it to Zatanna.

But this is me answering without consulting Brandon, so I reserve the right to change answers if, when talking with him, we decide differently.

Has anyone ever been kicked off the Team before? (aside from Arsenal)

Greg responds...

Kicked off? No, I don't think so. Even Arsenal wasn't kicked off. He was benched, and then he quit. Lieutenant Marvel and Sergeant Marvel removed themselves from the Team, and others resigned for one reason or another. But none were booted.
