Hello Mr. Weisman,

I am a huge fan of The Spectacular Spider-Man, and I would like to thank you for creating one of the best animated series I’ve ever seen. The character development, storytelling, and action were all perfect, and the series is still beloved by many to this day.

I grew up watching this series, and I am now 23 years old. It’s a major part of my memories and my love for Spider-Man. This show is the reason I fell in love with Spider-Man because it focused solely on his story without distracting attention to other characters like Miles Morales or Spider-Ghost. What truly makes this show special is that it showed Spider-Man relying on himself and taking full responsibility, which made the character stronger and more relatable. In fact, Spider-Man’s sense of responsibility taught me the meaning of responsibility during my childhood and its impact on our lives.

I know that legal complications prevented the show from continuing, but with the continued success of Spider-Man characters, do you think there’s any chance of bringing it back someday? Whether as a new series, an animated film, or even as official comic books, it would be amazing to see your story continue.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you!

Best regards,
Mohamed Adel

Hey Mr. Weisman, my favorite scene in Young Justice Outsiders is the children of the Justice League. It was funny, lighthearted, and very /interesting. It's like the Rugrats of superheroes in the DC universe. Why put the children of Justice League in the Young Justice episode, Home Fires and are you going to do a YJ spinoff about the kids?

Hi greg! Love your work. My question is geared towards the Young Justice show.

Has Ray Palmer (the atom) retired from the league? I mean last we saw of him was in the comics and he was being used for his science knowledge. He’s one of my favorite characters and I was just curious if his tenure as the Atom was over!

Hope you’re having a great day!

Hello! Huge fan of Young Justice! Now I know the chances are a bit low, but I was hoping if you could take into consideration my original character!Prince Ka’thir of Amun â€" The Chaosborn Sun

Born on the vibrant and mystical planet of Amun, Prince Ka’thir was destined for greatness. His lineage, the revered Children of the Sun, had long been blessed by the celestial deity Ra’thir, granting them the ability to wield the pure, radiant energy of the sun. However, on the day of Ka’thir’s birth, a rare and foreboding solar eclipse darkened Amun’s skies. It was a moment foretold in prophecyâ€"the arrival of one who would walk the path between order and chaos.

From an early age, it became evident that Ka’thir was different. Instead of the golden light of his ancestors, he wielded seething blue Chaos Magicâ€"unpredictable, powerful, and feared. His abilities were raw and untamed, making him both a marvel and a danger. While his mother, Queen Ashera, embraced his uniqueness, his father, King Ra’shor, and the Amunite High Council feared what it could mean for their future.

Whispers of prophecy spread throughout the landâ€"Ra’thir had decreed that Ka’thir’s fate would be one of great upheaval. Many believed he was a harbinger of destruction. Fueled by fear and ambition, a faction of Amunite rebels led by the warlord Khezer struck in the dead of night, assassinating King Ra’shor and attempting to end Ka’thir’s life before his destiny could unfold.

But fate had other plans.

Overcome with grief and rage, Ka’thir’s Chaos Magic erupted in an apocalyptic storm, shaking the foundations of Amun. Blue lightning split the heavens, entire cities crumbled, and the very balance of magic trembled before his wrath. Had it not been for Queen Ashera’s desperate intervention, Amun would have been lost. With no other choice, she cast a final, heartbreaking spell to send her son across the cosmosâ€"to a world that could teach him control, far from those who feared him.

Ka’thir crash-landed on Earth, where he was discovered by the covert superhero team, Young Justice. Though initially distant, he found companionship among its members, particularly with Superboy, Conner Kent. Despite their clashing temperaments, Conner’s steadfast nature balanced Ka’thir’s volatile spirit, and their friendship deepened into something unshakable. However, their bond was not without its struggles. Conner, fiercely protective of Ka’thir, often frustrated him with his overbearing nature, leading to frequent arguments. Yet, no matter how heated their clashes became, they always found their way back to each other, growing even closer in the process.

Though Ka’thir learned to control his Chaos Magic, his true test came when the formidable sorcerer Wotan sought to harness his untapped power. In a harrowing battle, Wotan stripped Ka’thir of his abilities, leaving him powerless and broken. Doubt consumed himâ€"was he truly nothing without his magic?

It was Conner who reminded him that his power was not tied to the sun, nor to prophecy, but to his own will. In his darkest moment, Ka’thir found clarity. Drawing upon the sheer force of his determination, he reignited his Chaos Magic, stronger than ever before. With a surge of cerulean energy, he overwhelmed Wotan, reclaiming his destiny as not just a wielder of magic, but its master. From that day forward, Ka’thir became recognized as one of the most powerful beings in the universe, capable of bending reality itself to his whim. His mastery over Chaos Magic allowed him to reshape matter, alter time, and defy the very laws of existence, earning him both awe and fear across the cosmos.

As the dust settled, Ka’thir turned to Conner, his heart pounding with a newfound realization. For so long, he had fought against his feelings, refusing to confront what had always been there.

Now, as a warrior reborn, Prince Ka’thir stands not as a bringer of chaos, but as a beacon of hopeâ€"an Amunite prince who defied prophecy and forged his own fate.

Here’s an action-packed backstory for Prince Ka’thir that highlights his struggles, growth, and ultimate triumph.

Dear Mr. Weisman,
My name is Samuel Recco, and I hold a degree in Languages and Literature. As part of my ongoing personal and academic interest in storytelling and global literary phenomena, I am currently exploring how certain animated series â€" such as W.I.T.C.H. â€" transcend their original medium to become cultural touchstones.
I would be deeply honored to have the opportunity to speak with you about your work on the W.I.T.C.H.
My aim is to better understand the roots of such a globally impactful story: its original ideas, creative direction, and the narrative vision that helped shape the series into a worldwide phenomenon.
If you are available, I would be truly grateful for the chance to arrange a brief video interview (about 20â€"30 minutes) at a time that works best for you. It would mean a great deal to gain your insights and perspectives for my research and literary exploration.
Thank you very much for considering my request. I truly appreciate your time and the creative legacy you’ve built.

With regards,
Samuel Recco.

Hello, I had a few magic themed questions and hope this doesn't waste your time.
1)In the "worlds" you've created or contributed to, when someone casts a spell, do they always drain their life force to do so or is that only when they don't have an accessible, external source of mystic power?
2)Does draining their life force for power only happens when they can't access/channel magic from somewhere else or can their life force itself act as the necessary energy to fuel their sorcery?
3)If something's life force can fuel sorcery, does that make life force, or vim vitae, a type of mystic energy too?
3a)If vim vitae is an actual type of usable energy for sorcery, do characters like Zatanna usually tap this personal power source because it is technically more easily accessible, if finite?
4)Is one's life force naturally self-renewing? If so, using or draining too much at once would kill its source?
5)Is there a connection to one's stamina and life force? If so can you please explain layman’s term?

(Sorry if each world you've written for has a different answer, and if so please feel free to disregard this post as I don't want to take up too much of your time. In any case, thanks for creating wonderful material that has produced so many fond memories and enjoyable content.)

Hi, Greg. I just want to say, I am a huge fan of The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated series. You did an awesome job! It is the most popular Marvel TV show ever! Not to mention the art style and animating is very outstanding. I grew up I watching it as a kid and I still love it. I also love the theme song, it’s incredibly catchy and energetic. I hope the show will comeback someday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Josh Keaton is one of my voice actors of Spider-Man, he did an amazing job.

I have question. Are you hoping to bring back The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series someday in the future?

Hey Greg!
I was wondering if you can share your thoughts on Dick and Zatanna in s4? He’s in a relationship with Barbara, which has been confirmed, but don’t his and Zee’s interactions kind of go beyond the „being friends with exes is my superpower” thing? Idk, maybe I’m reading too much into some scenes. Still I think it’s safe to say Dick would never cheat BUT it is kind of weird how much they flirt, and not just in a lighthearted way.

Hello, I hope you’re doing well!
I had a few questions about YJ

1. When it comes to moves and maneuvers, you kept it quite simple and limited in the show, however, is there a specific source where they’re like kept and listed, or do you just randomly choose numbers/names for them? Are they consistent across dc universe or does every creator kind of make it up however they want?

2. Have you had some ideas for season 5 or do you not think about that until you’re given a green light for another season?
2a. Also, have you ever taken, or think of taking into consideration what fans obsess over and ask for? (Like the totally mysterious red hooded ninja) Or do you just do your thing

3. Do you regret having the og team grow up so fast, would you rather have kept the vibe from the 1st season going for longer?

4. Do you regret making such a big time skip between seasons 1 and 2? I would obviously assume it was for the purpose of the 16h connection but we also don’t see much of what happened between them. Have you decided to completely abandon it and just move on with the show?

Anyway I love the show and tysm for gracing the earth w it🙇‍♀️

Hello, Greg. I wanted to warn you right away that I don't know English, so I use Google Translate. Thank you for good cartoons! I know you also worked on the cartoon series The Witch.
1. In episode 26 of season 2, Lord Cedric said that he loves Miranda. How old is Miranda? And why does she look like a child?
2. Are Cedric and Miranda's feelings mutual?
3. In episode 25 of season 2, Cedric betrayed Phobos. Did he initially want to betray and rule himself?

Hello Greg,
I was hoping if Young Justice will return for a 5th season, I want to know what can fans do so it can return, I know it's too much to ask for even after the show was cancelled after the first 2 seasons, but we have alot of unanswered questions on the show and many fans would like Wally West to return, This show has been a huge impact on me since I was 13 , I'm 22 now not the biggest DC fan but Young justice is something else the show has always been a great motivation for me to be an animator and I'm in art school now also it has been a big source of inspiration through out the years. There is a fan petition at change.org for the return of a 5th season please tell us is it possible that we can get a 5th last season that can complete all the missing stories that we've been waiting for or is it already too late? and if yes please BRING WALLY BACK

Is it possible to access or post the scripts for the final unaired/unproduced episodes to Starship Troopers: Roughneck Chronicles?

My wife and her best friend have been fans of the show since it came out. I am trying to see if there is any written version or audio copy of this event I can find as this is something they have both hoped to read or find out what happened one day.

They claim there was a Gargoyle Convention in Orlando where the three scripts for the unaired episodes was read to the crowd. I think its from 2000 based on https://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?rid=773.

I know in previous posts you have said your scripts don't format correctly here, but I would take any legible format. I also understand from other posts you don't post the radio play scripts, but since this was written material that never made it to publication, I hoped this may be different.

Thanks in advance!
