Hello Mr. Weisman. I have a few questions about the latest episode of Young Justice Season 4.

1. Why did you choose Ben Diskin to play Orion in Young Justice? (I was expecting someone new)
2. Who is Lor-Zod? (I’m very unfamiliar with this new character)

Mr. Weisman,

#1. When Ra's al Ghul was a hero, what was he called?

#2. Did Ra's al Ghul go by other names throughout his long life; much like Vandal Savage did? If so, what are some examples of famous names that he used throughout history?

#3. How many times had Ra's al Ghul been married in his long life? Other than Talia, did he had any other children (and possibly grandchildren) from his other marriages?

#4. How and when did Ra's al Ghul learned about and discovered the Lazarus Pits?

#5. Since his real name is presumably lost to history (or perhaps he threw it away to cut off all ties to his past), how exactly did Ra's al Ghul come to gain his current name?

Mr. Weisman,

When Dinah Lance developed her sonic scream in first grade...

#1. Did she almost caused her teacher's and classmates' ears to bleed; in addition to nearly deafening them.

#2. How did her parents react to this incident and how did they help her deal with the guilt of her own actions?

After watching the first episode of Raquel's arc, I am eagerly awaiting the rest of her arc! It's looking to be another great one! In this episode, we officially find out that Amistad is autistic (many of us knew beforehand, from that interview with Denise Boutte months prior), marking another time that Young Justice has made history in terms of representation in superhero media. It's honestly so exciting the amount of doors you guys are opening!

I do want to know, though. Was Amistad being autistic all part of the original plan back in Season One, or was it something you and Brandon decided on when in development of Outsiders and then Phantoms?

While I am more than certain Violet coming out as non-binary and La'gaan being in a polyamorous relationship is the result of Young Justice moving to DC Universe and then HBO Max, where censorship is (to a point) non-existent when compared to Cartoon Network, I can't say the same for Amistad's autism. While I assume the subject of neurodivergence wasn't considered AS taboo a subject back then, I am curious if (assuming this was all planned from the start) you guys making him openly autistic (rather than hinting at it like you would with a character's sexuality back then, if that makes sense) would have been a problem for the network.

Either way, though, I am beyond happy with what's been represented so far this season. Kudos!

Mr. Weisman,

I can't believe it! General Zod (Dru-Zod) and Lor-Zod?! The hidden message for Season 4 makes sense now; it is "INVITATION TO KNEEL BEFORE ZOD." Also, now that it is clear that Lor-Zod's ethnicity is the Kryptonian equivalent of an African-American human male in the Earth-16 universe, I suspect this also applies to General Zod as well and, as such, I suspect this change from the comics was inspired by the short-lived Syfy TV series, "Krypton" and that show's depiction of the House of Zod.

In Beyond the Grip of the Gods!, Ma'alefa'ak takes on the form of someone named Graggin. Graggin was a minor character in the comics, so on Earth-16 (or Apokolips-16) is there a real Graggin Ma'alefa'ak was impersonating, or is it just an identity he made up?

Hi Greg. I had a question about Rocket and Amistad. Did you have someone who is knowledgeable when it comes to Autism help you write Amistads character surrounding his Autism? Could you possibly explain the process in which you guys went about the writing for his character and how Rocket was handling it as well?

1. Why are the Red Martians not discriminated against like the White Martians are, since they are even less of them than the White, wouldn't the Greens just think they are better than all others? And if the Reds were conquerors wouldn't the Greens be bitter against this or is there some political, economic, religious or some other reason that they are not?

2. What advantages did the Red Martians have over the other more numerous Martians? Was it divide and conquer tactics, better use of Martian powers, more sorcerers than the others all of the above and/or something else?

3. And why are the White Martians discriminated against in general on Mars? Was it because of past wars, they had resources the other martians wanted and cruelty was the justification for it or is it something else?

How would you feel if a show you like announced they were going to add its first Jewish character but then it turned out it was actually a non Jewish ghost possessing the body of a dead Jewish man who has all of the stereotypical Jewish features and wears a kippah all the time for no reason? Oh and also none of the writers are Jewish so the identity is not explored in any meaningful way even though the character is visibly coded as such? Would you be happy about that?

Mr. Weisman,

When Barbara lost mobility in her legs due to her injury caused by Orphan, what was the exact amount of time that it took for her to go through her five stages of grief in regards to dealing with the fact that she would likely never be able to walk again? Also, who specifically helped/supported her through this difficult time and how did each person helped her?

Mr. Weisman,

As of the time of this posting, I've just looked on the internet and learned of the six-issue series called "Young Justice: Targets." Not only has this series has been confirmed to take place after the fourth season, but preview images indicate that Superboy will come back home and Beast Boy will apparently be in better mental health by the time the fourth season ends. So why were these revelations spoiled so soon?

Hello Greg! I know you've been getting a lot of questions on-and-off about the subject of sexuality within Young Justice, so I understand if answering can be a bit cumbersome and/or repetitive. Feel free to ignore, should you wish!

1. For the character that you cannot reveal to be gay either on-screen or off-screen, are they theoretically out of the closet in-universe?
2. Do you consider a character's respective sexuality a spoiler? I ask because way back when, you've answered No Spoilers to some of these types of questions, but recently you've been far more forthcoming on this aspect (and for that, I do thank you!). The most recent being for Ed, who you revealed is gay. You've done the same for Kate Kane and Renee Montoya, but those two are naturally a given considering their sexuality in the comics. I guess this all boils down to whether you’d consider a normally heterosexual character being queer on Earth-16 a spoiler or not. For example, prior to Nautical Twilight, had someone asked, would you have revealed that La’gaan is bisexual?
3. To continue from my second question, in a somewhat recent ask, someone asked whether or not more recent changes to previously-straight characters in the mainstream comics (ex: Wonder Woman, Alan Scott, Tim Drake, Jon Kent) would affect their depictions moving forward on the show, and you said that a character like Alan Scott could theoretically be gay but have been in the closet and had heterosexual relationships given the era he grew up in. Can this be taken as confirmation that Alan Scott on Earth-16 is or was gay?
4. I suppose you could leave this open to our individual interpretations, but in the first episode of Phantoms, Harper was worried that Cullen might spill the beans on their new super-family with the Carrs and M’gann and Conner. Regarding his reply of being able to keep a secret, and her acceptance of this fact, I am curious if this was a nod to his sexuality? Given their backstory of being from an abusive home, I imagine Cullen never felt comfortable enough to come out with his father but his new life with the Carrs has granted him (and by extension, Harper) that freedom. So I guess this question is just one big preamble to: was that scene in reference to Cullen recently coming out, assuming his sexuality is unaltered from the comics?
5. Not a question (mostly because I fear my word vomit might have put me over the edge of the five question limit), but this is just me thanking you and Brandon and the YJ crew for choosing to depict the world like it really is. I know that many people unfortunately don’t like the stance you guys are taking on the subject (or that you’re addressing it at all), so I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart that I have never felt the happiness that I felt when watching this latest season before in any form of media, especially superhero media. Again, thank you.
