I always thought Thailog was a lot more like Frankenstein's monster than Coldstone. Sure, Coldstone was brought to life through the campy "It's alive!" scene, but Thailog is the one who betrayed his master. Thailog was created through Xanatos's and Sevarius's hubris, and by not raising him properly they created a monster they were unable to control.
