To continue the tradition of stories and songs to be past from generation to generation, as they always had been, how else do we remember the old lessons and the wisdom. And the little lies that prepare us for the big ones, That fantasies, the ideas, and the wonder will remain, the great gift that he will always leave us. Works that do not deny the darkness of life, or the stupidity of humanity, and yet do not allow this to descend into pessimism and cynicism. To not destroy optimism, but to remind us, we can do better, and we will. And these are lessons and stories that we will treasure always. Long after we have left him, to the care, of the Reaper Man.- Chuck Sonnenburg aka SF Debris

LORD, WE KNOW THERE IS NO GOOD ORDER EXCEPT THAT WHICH WE CREATE…
THERE IS NO HOPE BUT US. THERE IS NO MERCY BUT US. THERE IS NO JUSTICE. THERE IS JUST US.
ALL THINGS THAT ARE, ARE OURS. BUT WE MUST CARE. FOR IF WE DO NOT CARE, WE DO NOT EXIST. IF WE DO NOT EXIST, THEN THERE IS NOTHING BUT BLIND OBLIVION.
AND EVEN OBLIVION MUST END SOME DAY. LORD, WILL YOU GRANT ME JUST A LITTLE TIME? FOR THE PROPER BALANCE OF THINGS. TO RETURN WHAT WAS GIVEN. FOR THE SAKE OF PRISONERS AND THE FLIGHT OF BIRDS.
LORD, WHAT CAN THE HARVEST HOPE FOR, IF NOT FOR THE CARE OF THE REAPER MAN?

I'm up for a continuation infinitely more than an adaption. I'd love more comics, hopefully with good art next time. They'd probably be able to afford an inker this time around if they were released under Marvel. Still, I'd hate it if the series merged with the Marvel Universe and have to be run like product-placement, putting an Iron Man here, a Captain America there...

GV: We already have an animated film with the pilot/Gargoyles The Movie (then there's the whole rest of the show). Definitely don't want a CGI movie, it would probably be developed in the vain of Tangled/ Frozen, Big Hero 6, with character design by Glen Keane 'cause that's the only way to make an animated film now. It wouldn't look anything like the series, I can assure you. The style is not "in" in animation, but live action wise, it very much is. And so my preference is revealed.

D. Taina: I hope to not come off as insistent, but did you have any luck in finding those Disney Adventures scans?
Sorry again if I'm bothering you, but it seems that these scans are nowhere else to be found.
Now, to contribute something to the discussion: that Nostalgia Critic sketch made me seriously think about a Gargoyles movie, and I wondered how other people felt. Do you think that a movie like that would be better in 2D Animation, CGI Animation or Live Action?
Personally I can't really imagine real people playing as the characters from the show, don't know exactly why, and since nobody seems to be doing big 2D animation anymore CGI seems to be the obvious answer at least for me. What's your opinions?

We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. And yet it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human.

Third from Hawaii, which likewise does not bother with this whole DST kerfuffle.
From my perspective, all it means is that every six months, all the TV channels shift their schedules for no good reason. :P
