I know he has thirteen more episodes to review before he gets to it, but I'm looking forward to what he has to say about "City of Stone, Part Three". I wonder if he'll remember what he had said about Macbeth's comment about attacking the gargoyles while they slept.

And speaking of Matts...enter Matt Bluestone.

Matt: Yep, you were who I was reffering to. (Who do you think I meant, Matt Milam?) Anyway, good to see you're still hanging around.

Okay, I don't know how serious this is, but...remember the guy behind that ultra-violent satirical take on the Power Rangers a while back? Apparently he's working on a super-violent animated adaptation of Castlevania.

The real kicker that should amuse everyone here? Take a look at his listing of inspirations for the look and feel of the mini-series.

What is ADR?

They didn't even say what lines they thought you ADR. You're right, my thought was "how can the tell in an animation?"

I'm now thinking of my favorite least favorite ADR line: Ash is a goddam robot!

Inland
Signature: Ash is a goddam robot!

I'm fairly confident that there was no ADR in "Temptation". We didn't have the budget to do ADR on a regular basis, and in Season One, we spent that on the five-part pilot - where this reviewer didn't mention ADR at all. There were likely some lines recorded wild in "Temptation". But that's a very different thing.

I don't think this reviewer really understands ADR at all. Mostly when it's used, you can't tell the difference, and if he thinks you can - well, he's either psychic or kinda objectively wrong. At least more often than not. For example, in Young Justice, Tim Curry did ADR in one (and only one) of his many episodes as G. Gordon Godfrey. I defy anyone to be able to discern which one was ADR.

Todd Jensen> Great minds, buddy. Don't worry, I'm not invading your mind on a regular basis.

Anymore. *evil chuckle*

In truth, I was recently playing a game that deals with, amongst several other quests, a descent into the Underworld. It involved acquiring waters from the Lethe and the Styx, so that's why I posted as I did.

Vrai Kaiser's review of Temptation reminds me about something I've thought a lot about: Demona's encounter with future Brooklyn in 997 and an "older" Demona choosing to make her plan with a younger Brooklyn in 1994.

At some point she must've realized that the Brooklyn she met in 997 was from the future. She must've known that the remnants of the Wyvern Clan would wake up at some point. And I suppose she picked Brook because she suspected that if his future self was willing to work with her, then his younger self might as well... Interesting. Thoughts?

BRAINIAC - Your post definitely spooked me. I'd considered posting when the count had reached that point of "Next one would be five", and thought of those same rivers for that post, but in the end, didn't get around to doing it. And then I saw that your post for five listed the rivers of the classical Underworld as well - and while they'd be a good choice for five from the realm of literature and legend, it was still kind of creepy to realize that two people had independently thought of that subject for "five".

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age." ― H.P.
