The last arc of Black Lagoon I thought was really odd but pretty effective in certain respects. The Second Barrage is kind of an odd experience in general, the first arc is really the most disturbing I think but I love everything Balalaika does. The second arc is more of a really fun sort of romp with a lot of the incidental characters (Etta, Yolande, Shenhua, Lotton the Wizard, the... Hank Hill guy), the third arc feels a little more lackadaisical, but I really love all the character development with Revy mostly. I think the most disappointing thing is how little Dutch and Benny get to do.

And yep, the tenth angel from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Honestly to forewarn you (sorta), I'm sure you've heard conflicting opinions but I think the rebuild movies are really sexist and kind of trashy.

Aldrius: I'm in the process of wrapping up the show right now (only four episodes left, plus the "Roberta's Blood Trail" OVA), so it was on my mind at the time. It has indeed been an excellent one so far.

As for "Zeruel," given that we're talking about anime and it's a name that looks vaguely angelic, I'm gonna take a wild stab and say Evangelion.

Which I still haven't gotten around to seeing, though I've been meaning to for a long time. I mostly watch anime through streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Crunchyroll) and neither the original show nor the redone movies are currently available on any of them, to my knowledge.

Of particular note for this room: Grey DeLisle-Griffin and Steve Blum were both there, and I got Grey to do her Sally Avril voice from SpecSpidey, and then for Steve - as the Green Goblin - to comment on how annoying it is.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone got it on video. But it was a treasure.
