Samuel: Sure, but its not narrated by one voice, like most Audio Books are --
the AudioPlay is completely cast (with plenty of alum from Gargoyles, Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice, & Star Wars: Rebels) with sound effects and completely scored d:
I believe the physical CDs were an exclusive reward to the Kickstarter (though I recall Greg Weisman rambling that he has sold copies in the past at various conventions). Nevertheless, you can download the AudioPlay here -- https://gumroad.com/RainoftheGhosts

Thanks, Matthew. I checked ask Greg, but didn't think to check the wiki. Doh.

Samuel> The wiki lists it as "a crest of six spikes behind her ears." In the picture with her and Oberon you can see the underside of these spikes and they have the same dun-yellow coloration as her belly and the insides of her ears.

Been a while, but I just wanted to express my excitement at seeing a package in the mailbox today with Rain of the Ghosts on the return address!
I know Greg Weisman has made it clear he's not keen on doing another Kickstarter campaign in the future (http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?qid=21089), but I still love that it happened AND that it got funded -- knowing that I can now pop in my CDs on the way to and from work (call me old fashioned, lol), this is going to be a fun summer:D (. . . and definitely worth the wait!)

Unrelated: do you think that Boudicca of the Avalon clan had a horned crest, or do you think that it was hair that was the same color as her skin? Horns, right?

JURGEN> Indeedy. I'm afraid I'm not that familiar enough with most NA cultures or mythologies outside the Aztecs to comment either.
My understanding is most archaeologists do agree that the Aztecs (Or Mexica as they preferred to call themselves) did migrate from somewhere north of the Mexico Valley. Though nobody's ever been able to pin down exactly where.
According to the legend, the Mexica were originally led from Aztlan to what would eventually become Mexico City by their war god Huitzilpochtli.
So the story is told, but who can if it be true?

Algernon: Interesting- it's possible "Aztlan" is what we now know as Alaska, given that the common archaeological belief is Native Americans migrated from Asia through Alaska. It would make sense that the ancient facts of their migration got mythologized through retelling over the generations. All things are true, as the man said. I think some archaeologists are starting to question the land bridge theory, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on the subject to judge.
It's also interesting that those tribes believe themselves to be immigrants. I've heard there are some Native mythologies that insist "we were always here" and take great exception to being told they came from Asia. To be fair, there's good reason to be resistant, as those theories have been used as tools of colonialism: "You are immigrants to this land, too, so you have no more right to it than us white people!"

TODD & MATT> Funnily enough, the Aztecs' own legends claim they originally migrated to Mexico from a semi-mythical land called Aztlan, located somewhere in the distant North.
Some archaeologist have tried locating Aztlan in Coyote's traditional stomping grounds in the South-West US, assuming it isn't an entirely mythical location.

The Coyote figure in mythology tends to differ depending upon, region, tribe, who's telling the story etc. But the commonalities of being a trickster, a shapeshifter or having healthy sexual appetites seem to be almost entirely a part of the character's background.

Since Mexico and the American Southwest (Coyote's traditional territory) are close by, it makes sense that an Aztec god would echo Coyote.

So as y'all can probably guess from my shout-out below, I've been reading a lot of Aztec mythology recently. It's one of my personal favs mythologies and in my research, I've stumbled on something that took me aback...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huehuecoyotl
Seems a member of the Aztec pantheon may have already shown up in Gargoyles canon.

Jordan, I assume that means that all of the frequently asked questions had been addressed by 2002, and there haven't been any new ones added since. Or maybe they were just folded into the old document without changing the date.

I noticed the FAQ page says 2002 at the bottom. Does this mean that Greg's responses from 2003-2017 have not been incorporated and must be accessed via archives?
