Joe Books was doing Frozen comics. If Dark Horse is now doing them, than the license with Joe Books might have already expired.
That's assuming it's all the same license, and I wouldn't make that assumption.

Aw good we're back. No unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any news on when Ducktales is supposed to return. I understand them taking a break for the holidays but considering it's now February you'd think we'd get some information.

FIFTH And thanks again, Gore :)
Not sure when the license expires -- haven't seen much at my Phoenix comic shop save for the occasional movie cinestory, but even I haven't spotted many of those for a while. There's still a lone issue of I think the 7th or 8th issue of Darkwing Duck sitting alone in the stand for quite a few months now.
Going back to the DuckTales talk -- anyone now when the show comes back from hiatus? I've caught the midseason trailer for Star Wars: Rebels (which most will remember GregW working on that back in season one, as well as the Kanan: The Last Padawan comic), and that's due back February 19th.

This comment from Greg also bodes well:
"In addition, comic book publishing of Disney's licensed properties has been in disarray. As I'm sure you've noticed, we made some progress with Joe Books... and then it all fell apart. We're now waiting for Joe's license to lapse and are hopeful -actually hopeful - that we can make new comics happen with a new publisher. [Name of new publisher being withheld for now until a deal is made.]"

Was waiting to say that Disney has partnered with Dark Horse to make Frozen comics. Hope the becomes a substantial connection, would open really interesting avenues and possibilities....

There was an issue with the hard drive on the server. Sorry for the downtime, but it's fixed now. Fingers crossed things remain operational. :)
