I hope they will put my OC in the movie.

Leonard Syphonson: A name you do not want to hear. The trouble just got dangerous.

They shouldn't have canceled Gargoyles Spin-Offs likes Gargoyles Timedance about Brooklyn and Gargoyles 2198 which would've also included Beooklyn I think as the main character while he goes through time

Which makes sense since there has been no official confirmation from either Jordan Peele or Disney.

I follow Greg Weisman on Twitter and someone asked him if he was involved the Gargoyles reboot and they heard it might be turned into a movie. Greg's response was that there is no reboot in the works.

Now that you mention that, his best friend IS Keegan Michael Key and he's done stuff with Tracey Morgan.

Well, Jordan Peele also has a pretty extensive comedy career, so I don't think it's fair to say he's ONLY a horror guy.

Basically, Disney didn't think they were making enough from it, and raised the licencing fee above what SLG Comics could afford. But glad to hear you enjoyed them! And welcome to our little corner of the net.

How very.

Mr. Weisman, how come your awesome Gargoyle comics never got more than 12 issues?

I've joined the Gargoyles Discord server. So far there has been no confirmation from either Jordan Peele or Disney about a live action Gargoyles remake. I've been following this ever since reports surfaced last week that Jordan Peele walked into a meeting with Disney and pitched his idea. We don't even know what the pitch was. Just that they gave him a "We'll get back to you on that one." There have been some conflicting reports. One report saying that Disney DID turn him down and they're now considering reaching out to him, another one saying that Disney hasn't given a yes or a no. I'm inclined to believe it was NOT turned down but it hasn't been approved either. Some sources say that Disney is both scared to tell Peele no and they're scared to pass on it.

I saw Carlos Ferrer's fan film and LOVED it. Carlos Ferrer said he plans to turn it into a feature length film with Disney's approval. He's hoping that his vision will be enough to convince executives. He has 15 years of experience and grew up watching the show so he's familiar with it. Jordan Peele's only experience is in horror movies. Disney is concerned he may make it too dark. I also listened Collider Video's thoughts and they were saying Disney doesn't see the dollar signs and they don't want to take a chance on a 24 year old property that, to them, has a dying fanbase when their other properties like Star Wars, Marvel & Pixar are more popular. They're afraid of the fan reaction and that it won't do well at the box office.

Aaron Williams (the creator of "Nodwick") had some enthusiastic comments on the proposed Jordan Peele adaptation of "Gargoyles" at his blog. (Click the link to see it.)

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

I'm all four (heh) a Jordan Peele Gargoyles movie.
