Hi Roshaan. This Comment Room isn't the avenue to ask questions to Greg Weisman. Those should be submitted here:

https://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/ask.php

Now, with that being said, Greg has answered this one on multiple occasions. For example here, and here:

Unfortunately, there really isn't a very high likelihood of W.I.T.C.H. returning, at least any time soon. The full series isn't available for purchase or streaming on any platform, and while the comics were at one point a fairly big deal as far as these things go (at least in their native Italy), at this point it's honestly barely a blip when viewing all of Disney's intellectual properties as a whole.

Personally, I was a big fan even before Greg's involvement in the series, and I would love to see him be able to tackle that world again. As you can see in the above links (or by browsing the whole "W.I.T.C.H." archive here at Ask Greg), clearly he would too.

Unfortunately, it's not up to him. It'd be up to Disney, and frankly they have much bigger fish to fry.

Would there be any possibility of W.I.T.C.H ever returning to our screens. It was such a big part of so many people's childhoods, so please is there any hope in the show returning?

So I finished the second season of Castlevania, and well...
So Grant doesn't show up at all, disappointingly enough practically none of the classic monsters show up. Seriously, the entirety of the forces of darkness seems to comprise of faceless vampires and the same hell-spawn creatures from the first season. The closest thing we get is a brief appearance of Slorga and Gaibon.
The season seriously drags in terms of pacing, most of it is spent on machinations in the court of Dracula with Carmilla filling out a sort of Cersei Lannister kind of role, while our heroes spend most of the season in a library. While the dialogue between the three of them is pretty good and I do like how they set up Trevor and Sypha's relationship I started yelling at them to do something by the fifth episode.
Dracula does die by the end of the season and while it is an emotional end the fact that it wasn't done by Trevor makes him seem a little obsolete. After which there's an entire episode worth of epilogue where they set up for a third season. But without Dracula the threat is going to look weak by comparison.
Matthew> You hoping for Grant? They showed off Hector, Isaac, and Carmilla in the previews, but not him - it makes me suspicious. Plus Warren Ellis is on record as not caring for the character.

Thanks for the review, Matthew. I enjoyed reading it, though I don't have any comments on it this time, I'm afraid.

Sorry for the wait. My hand and wrist were acting up on Tuesday and WordPress was having technical problems on Wednesday.
Anyways here's part 4: https://mattthemediahunter.home.blog/2018/10/25/analysis-and-review-gargoyles-awakening-part-4/

And Brainiac, I too will be catching the second season of Castlevania on Friday. Heck maybe next October I'll review the first season.

Rewatched "Hunter's Moon" on DVD today, and noticed a few features I'd missed before.

1. During the chase scene in Part One, Elisa and Jason drive past what looks like the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. (I knew it, before spotting it this time around, mainly for the role it played in an episode of "Doctor Who" where the Weeping Angels were swarming in New York City and had even converted the statues in that fountain into more of their kind.)

2. Demona has a painting in her Nightstone office (in the scene where she's giving Robyn her job interview in Part One) that looked - from the glimpse I had of it - like a whale's tail rising from the sea. I was amused by that (assuming that it is indeed a whale), since she's definitely got a "white whale obsession" with humanity. (And the Hunters have a similar obsession with Demona and the rest of the gargoyles.)

3. In Part Three, after Jason's been shot and Elisa and Robyn are tending to him, Bronx stays with them rather than going with the rest of the clan to confront Demona. (He rejoins them afterwards, when Elisa and Robyn enter the altar room after Demona's flight.)

It's the first time I've watched "Gargoyles" on DVD for a while; nice to do so again.

PHOENICIAN - I know that tonight is the Hunter's Moon, but I don't know if there'll be any similar special occasion for October 24 next year.

Today brings us to TWENTY-FOUR YEARS since Disney's Gargoyles first episode, "Awakening: Part One", premiered. If you've worked on or enjoyed this series in any way, today's the day. :D

I can't help but notice how this year's (initial?) Gargoyles-related line of Funko Pop! collectibles feels almost like a mirror opposite to last year's canceled-cinestory news. Fingers crossed we'll see Disney license some new canon stories by the time we get to the big twenty-FIFTH next year! (that one's for the count this week, lol)

Next year's anniversary is a big one, milestone-wise, but I don't think it'll mark the arrival of the Hunter's Moon like today's does (unless I totally misread that info when I was doing research -- Todd?). d:

If anyone finds it difficult to reach me this Friday, that would be due to the SECOND season of Castlevania dropping on Netflix that day.
