The Western half of Scotland isn't a flat meridian bordering the sea. It is fairly irregular. And no one, including Greg Weisman, ever said that Castle Wyvern was on the most western point of Scotland or whatever, just its west coast. Areas of Scotland, even fairly large areas, could lie on penisulas to the north or south of Wyvern. If a gargoyle was in those areas, they might travel somewhat east to get back to Wyvern.

Just a thought.

That's strange. When Goliath and his mentor were charging out of the forest to try to get back to Castle Wyvern before dawn, they were running towards the sunrise (i.e. eastward), so they must have been west of Castle Wyvern at the time.

Has there been any consensus on where Castle Wyvern would have been located? The presence of a forest to the west of the castle (as shown in "Awakening, Part One") seems to suggest that it would be on the eastern coast of Scotland.
