There's mobile versions for devices running iOS or Android.

Masterdramon> No mobile though? That said I could still possibly pay for the service after I get a stronger device and possibly try watching from the internet feature.

My Smart TV Samsung store doesn't have the app for download and the internet browser on that one is slow at times.

Antiyonder

Antiyonder: DC Universe is available on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV right now. I personally use the Roku app and it's a fairly good one.

Hoping that it gets added to a few other devices in the future - especially video game consoles, as my PS4 is my main media player in my bedroom - but for now, you should be able to watch it if you have a SmartTV and/or one of the major dedicated streaming devices.

Ok, levity's over.
s3 ep.5-Away Mission
Nice to see Greg's Snapper Carr back as well as Bill's Bear. The gag with Carr's trees constantly being destroyed and Bear's bombastic nature offered some much needed comedy for what was otherwise a pretty dramatic episode. Also nice to see the team in action, it looks like Traci 13 has taken over the role of excitable fan girl from Wonder Girl. And it appears instead of her "urban magic" from the comics she has more "bad luck magic" akin to Jinx from the Teen Titans series. Coincidentally both characters were played by Lauren Tom.

Poor, Forager. All he wanted to do was stop the fighting and he gets banished from his hive, has to leave New Genesis for his own safety and already has someone who wants him dead, and in his first episode too. Which brings me to M'Comm aka this show's version of Malefic.

I've wondered a lot about the colored based caste system on Mars and the inevitability of social uprising because of it. It's a shame that M'Gann's younger brother goes straight off the deep end so quickly and is even willing to murder those metahumans just to spite his sister. Though it does remind me of the progress M'Gann has gone through and is no longer the vindictive telepath she once was. But if M'Comm keeps doing what he's done (especially if the Light is backing his planned rebellion) then she may not have a choice if there's a future confrontation.
Brainiac/Algernon84> Thanks for the imput.

Also:
1. Now I need to make a phone upgrade first, but really my only problem with getting DC Universe is that unless I'm wrong only computers/laptops are the only way view it, so no apps for television sets or such.

But has anyone through internet browser on a tablet been able to view the programs without functionality problems? Cause if so I could make due after I do an upgrade.

2. Also, did the more recent radioplay (saw the update on the wiki) have a "Hello Maggie" from Megan by chance:-)?

Antiyonder

Antiyonder> I'll add what YJ references I know of when I can over the coming weeks on Gargwiki. Right now, I'm composing the synopsis for "Episode Four: Musicology 101: Songs of the Theme" - a.k.a. the non-canon crossover version of the YJO comic story.

Also, show of hands...who wants Katana and Katana to have a lengthy talk in the next Radio Play? <snicker>

ANTIYONDER>
Ra's al Ghul is no longer a member of the Light, presumably leaving his "seat at the table open" like in Recruits
Algernon84
Business as usual...

Just out of curiosity, are there any nods to the non-canonical play "Recruits" or elements shown to be canonized onscreen?
Antiyonder

Oh, somethings I forgot to mention.
Crispin Freeman was obviously having a ton of fun playing so many different characters, really helped sell the comedy.
According to Doctor Fate, Halo is an "old soul in a new body" which adds credence to the theory that her body has become possessed by a Mother Box, especially considering things that happen in the next two episodes. Combine that her previous life's memories peaking through and you've got one serious mystery on our hands.

I like that they basically had to bribe Brion into staying by offering to find his sister. Though considering what happens in the next few episodes, I can't imagine it will be a happy reunion.
Well that was some much needed levity.

S3 ep. 4-Private Security
Though not without some sadness, I always imagined that Nabu would allow Zatara some time with his daughter, but I never thought it would only be an hour. The fact that she has to go through the feeling of losing her father every year and that being Doctor Fate 24/7 has definitely taken it's toll on Zatara is pretty heart-breaking.
On the other side of things, good to see the Harper Boys doing good and working as private security. Will, formerly known as Roy, has settled into fatherhood pretty well (plus that little dance Lian does when she gets her cereal is too cute for words). Roy, formerly known as Arsenal has matured enough to be a team player again. And Jim's still Jim. I did like that Will picked up on Nightwing obviously needs a close friend like Wally to call him out when he gets a little too Batman-esque, well I guess it would be obvious since he accidentally called Will "Wall."

One more thing, it's fairly obvious that these Goode VR goggles are going to be important in the long run. The common theory is that they're going to be connected to Darkseid and used as part of the Anti-Life Equation. Considering the the name "Goode" I'm wondering if they were created by Granny Goodness.
Todd> Yep, it's in the timestamp for the first new scene, though at the start rather than the end like Invasion. The "first three minutes" preview video that was posted to YouTube has it as well (it's basically everything prior to the opening credits).

ROSS - You mentioned that
a character who was thirteen in Season Two is fifteen in Season Three. So the time skip this time was just two years instead of five? (I haven't seen any of the episodes.)
Well, Young Justice is back, and as a big fan who was hugely skeptical that we would ever get new material after it was canceled, I am very grateful to have been proven wrong. So far, it’s living up to expectations; very much enjoyed the first three episodes, and looking forward to the next three tomorrow. (I like that release schedule, keeps me from watching too much at a time.)

There's a lot that happened, and I'm not really motivated to get into all my thoughts, so just a few random things:

(Not sure if this constitutes a spoiler, but just in case.)
Can’t say I’m a huge fan of Gar’s new voice (or should I say, his old voice? Eh?). It’s not bad or anything, and it’s perfectly reasonable for his voice to have changed between 13 and 15…it just sounds a little too different to my ears, with a different inflection than Logan Grove had. Though that could just be since we’ve only heard him so far while he’s performing for an audience, instead of just chatting with friends, so I’ll give it some time to grow on me. (I’ll admit I kinda had it in my head that they could just get whoever’s voicing Gumball now to take over from Grove. :))
(And now definitely in spoiler territory)
Being not as up on DC lore as I am with Marvel, I didn’t know if Tara Markov was a significant character until I looked up Brion, and…well, well, well. Turns out I do know this character. This could go a variety of ways. I am intrigued.
On another note, I’m very much trying to stick to the lessons learned back when the first two seasons were airing. After the premiere last week, I somewhat naively did a little tumblr search for early reactions and the like, and got a small reminder of the prudence of being…wary…when delving into the YJ fandom. Guess it has been a while.

I’ll just be dipping my toes in occasionally and otherwise quietly enjoying the show from within my comfy bubble over here, thanks. :)

MATTHEW> Danke
Also re-watched the beginning of Princes All and noticed the Father Box glowing the same purple as it healed the Parademon troops.

I think that cinches it.
Algernon
Business as usual

Algernon> I think you might be on to something with that theory of yours.
During that scene in episode 3 when Halo regenerates her appearance after being scarred by Plasmus she glows purple which seems to be the color for her healing power. What I didn't notice until now was that Sphere's circuitry/Tron lines also glow purple when she heals. And here I was thinking they only used the pieces of the Mother Box to create those control chips.
So nice observation on your part.

W. Morgan Sheppard's Petros, Odin, and Kenneth II were truly memorable characters in a show that had an overwhelmingly impressive cast. And that was just Gargoyles. He will be missed.

Nice to see Greg Weisman back on the site (
, but bummed to hear about Rain's shelving. Of course, in the days of Young Justice's third season, I've never felt more confident in GregW's mantra of "Never the End"
). Tangentially, another Ask Greg archives-related
. The new category name of Definitive Equivocation for 2019 made my day.
I completely forgot to finish up my thoughts on the first three episodes.
S3 ep.3-Eminent Threat
I forgot to mention Beast Boy's new actor, or rather returning actor. Kinda funny hearing Greg Cipes again because I tend to associate his performance with a less mature Beast Boy. I think it's nice that he's gone on to be an actor and activist like his mother, also how he met Perdita is both sad and a little sweet. I wonder how or if he'll return to action, probably to combat meta-human trafficking a little more directly than PSAs.
I may have been a little quick to claim that this season wouldn't be as dark as the New 52 animated films. Between Halo's rather violent end and return then Otto's sudden death it goes to show that Greg can be pretty dark if he wants to.

One thing I noticed is that they kind of go back and forth on whether Dr. Jace was an ally or villain before settling on ally. Reminds me of her character in the comics where she went back and forth between the two depending on the writer. I'm curious to see where Brion goes from here. I have no doubt he'll go on his own hero's journey just as Superboy did in season 1 but how that'll play out and whether he'll meet up with Tara or Terra will be interesting. Finally, anyone else notice that Baron Bedlam went down similarly to how Count Vertigo did in season 1? In that he overplayed his hand and expected everything to go his way because of his status within the royal family? I also hope that the missing eight kids play some role in the future.
Todd> Yep, Angela was on the Team along with Spidey, now 18 and thus bypassing telling May. Spider-Man in particular was noteworthy for his presence causing differences relative to the comic as
Peter Parker played to the studio audience laugh track in M'gann's mindscape...and Garfield thought the "sitcom-y name" he came up with on the spot was quite impressive
. As to Angela,
she was drawn into the mindscape as well, which means...yes, human Angela in a non-visual medium (Greg, you tease)
.

Did that Radio Play include elements from "Gargoyles"? (I can't recall anything about the Radio Play now - I must have had other things on my mind when the convention reports came out. I assume, though, it would have to have "Gargoyles" content to get into GargWiki.)

All Lucky Sevens!

Matthew> Concerning Torch Song, it's basically the canon version of last year's CONVergence Radio Play. It ends differently, namely with
Psimon getting away because Professor X couldn't cameo
.

I've been asked to write a synopsis for Gargwiki as I was in said Radio Play, so look forward to that this weekend (hopefully, depending on how busy I am).

Sorry to hear about Morgan Sheppard's passing.

Thoughts on S3 episose TWO-Royal We
One thing I've always liked about this series is the intrigue, one thing Greg really knows how to do is make a good suspenseful series. I'll admit I do miss the old character models from the original series, I know they adopted the animated film models as a cost saving measure but it still feels like a step down at times. One thing I'm glad has remained the same are the action scenes, I've always felt that Young Justice had some of the best action sequences out of any DC animated material (as well as plenty of live-action ones too). And that smoothness during Artemis' rescue of Halo is just awesome.
Speaking of which, I'm curious to see what's going to happen with Halo, whether her memory loss is a result of her meta-gene activating after her death or whether her powers are the result of extraterrestrial influence like the comics. Also the choice to make her a Middle Eastern Muslim was a bold choice. And while Greg's no stranger to changing character's races (see Spectacular Spider-Man for that) I'm having trouble remembering if there's ever been a prominent Muslim character in DC comics.
