I got the trade on Sunday, and I have to say, on the whole I really liked it. The size threw me at first, but I've come to the conclusion that it's a lot more portable than a full-sized trade would be. I also like that, in addition to minor printing errors being corrected, the colors were lightened in #2; Terrell's colors were stronger than what showed when #2 was printed, so it's nice to see the coloring job that was intended. Wendy Pini's intro was great, of course, and the new artwork was also nice, although a tad too zoomed-in. I liked that every issue was preceded by its cover; it's a pet peeve when TPBs don't include all the covers, or include them in a gallery at the end. It's fun to see a compilation of all the different artists/art teams collected like this; very different styles, though all strong (and it's awesome to see Hedgecock's continuous improvement). To everyone involved, keep up the good work! :)

Have you by chance seen the new version of "American Gladiators"? One of the new Gladiators is called 'Wolf' and bares a striking resemblence to well, Gargoyles' Wolf.

I'm sure it's just coinsidental then some intentional reference, since of course a stocky hair muscle man is gonna pick the name "Wolf", but it's still very funny to see what's basically the same character 'real life'

Greg responds...

You probably couldn't pay me enough to watch "American Gladiators", but then again, had it been a real show, you probably couldn't have paid me enough to watch "The Pack" either.

The gargoyles hide the helicopter - permanently.

Here's my question: Has anybody ever found that helicopter by October 31, 1997?

Greg responds...

Ask me when the comic catches up to that point.

Greg, I just have a quick question about Demona's attitude towards Angela. Specifically, what makes *Demona* care so much that Angela is her biological daughter? I get why Angela thinks it's a big deal, but Goliath had to "learn" to think in that way, and his attitude is more traditional among the clan. Presumably, Demona should have the same type of attitude. What then makes Demona value Angela as her blood daughter as well as rookery daughter almost immediately in a way that seemed to take Goliath forever?

Greg responds...

Demona was ALWAYS a bit atypical of gargoyles, even back in the tenth century. Plus she's spent centuries inundated by humanity's biological offspring imperative.

But really, all that's beside the point. As with Goliath, she might regard all the Avalon Clan as her children. But Angela is the only one she KNOWS about.

Ever think of a TMNT-Gargoyles cross-over?

Greg responds...

Not really. Not much on crossovers, really, despite the semi-canon Team Atlantis crossover.

Greg,

May I respectfully request a tentative expected release date list of Gargoyles comics for 2008, similar to the list you provided in 2007? Thank you.

Greg responds...

Uh... Sure. Go ahead.

In the Rock Hudson and Lexington wake up at 7:45 this is accounted to jet lag but in New York it would only be 2:45pm, so wouldn't have made more sense for Hudson and Lex to wake at elevenish in London

Greg responds...

Even after less than one night, they are already starting to adjust to the new timezone. That's how attuned to the biorhythms of the planet the ancient race of gargoyles are.

Hi Greg,
I've posted on a forum site the following link: http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/moviefinder/request/requestvideo.html
I'm just wondering: If many requested Gargoyles Season 2 Volume 2 on this site will it make any difference? Is this site taken in consideration for the release of DVDs? If not is there any petition sites for the release of this DVD?

Greg responds...

I don't know. Can't hurt, I suppose.
