Hello Again Greg, i have a some questions about Arthur Pendragon
1) What class of inmortality have Arthur?, a really long live or is he Age Stuck like Macbet and Demona? or at least have some way of Inmortality?
2) And if he is Inmortal, Who made him Inmortal? this one feel free to don`t answer XP
3) He knows about the Illuminaty?
Thanks Again
1. Now that he's awake again, he's aging normally. He's not immortal; he was just in a form of suspended animation (pun intended) for a long time.
2. See above.
3. No.
hey whats up again Greg?
when a mortal becomes an Avatar they have all that child of oberon's powers which i would assume includes their "immortality" correct;then how could the Emir have died in that cave in while still merged with Anubus?unless they somehow seperated at the last possible moment beforehand
Well, first you have to define "immortality", but in any case, I think the Emir did indeed relinquish his hold on Anubis at the last second.
This day in Gargoyles' Universe History....
December 22nd...
1995
Just before dawn, the gargoyles are attacked by "Macbeth". After sunrise, David Xanatos kidnaps Hudson's sleeping body and replaces it with a stone statue. At sundown, the other gargoyles awaken and believe that Macbeth has used sorcery to keep Hudson asleep. Goliath & Lexington search for a cure, while Brooklyn & Broadway protect the statue from "Macbeth". Meanwhile, Xanatos reveals that in his bid for immortality, he plans to use Hudson to test the Cauldron of Life. And on Avalon, the Archmages and their allies launch their attack on the Avalon Clan.
I have a question concerning half-breeds. Perhaps you've answered it, but I've perused most of the questions concerning the third race, Oberon's children, and Fox. Anyway, if Merlin is the offspring of Oberon and a mortal human, does that make him immortal? Arthur seems intent on finding him at the end of the episode "Pendragon." Would this also mean that Fox, being the offspring of a similar union, is immortal? Does whether or not the immortal parent is male or female have any bearing on this?
The gender of the immortal parent has no bearing.
As for the rest, I've never said that Merlin was immortal, so you can't make assumption based on facts not in evidence.
Questions about Fox and Alexander's status have yet to be revealed.
Do Anubis's "life-and-death" powers extend to the Third Race? That is, is he (or someone who is his avatar a la Jackal) able to age or destroy any of the fay, the way that he can to humans and gargoyles?
Aging the Children is an oxymoron. Killing them is something else again.
How did Cuchulain survive to the modern world?
Reincarnation.
why is that in "the price" hudson says Macbeth is dead and later says macbeth is immortal?
I'm not sure I remember the details precisely, or if you've got them right.
But it Depends how you define immortal.
If you define immortal to mean you're still alive even after centuries, that doesn't necessarily mean you cannot be killed.
Look at Highlander. All them immortals. But all killable.
1) How common is reincarnation in the Gargoyles universe?
2) How common is discorportation?
3) How common are ghosts in the Garg universe?
1. Semi-
2. Uh, define this for me. Like Hakon when the axe was destroyed?
3. Not very. But every once in awhile...
Re: Immortality
At one point during "The Price," Hudson says "Macbeth is dead," but later acknowledges that he and Demona are immortal. Hudson probably sees immortality in a different light than other characters, (ie, it's possible for immortals to die). Xanatos, Oberon's Children, and Macbeth must all have their own perceptions as well.
Hence, any question I ask you on the subject would require an essay-length response if you felt like covering all the bases.
So...
1. Any chance of seeing a ramble on "Immortality in the Garg Universe" at some point? Maybe coinciding with your ramble on "The Price"?
Yeah, maybe. Not in the mood right now, cuz I just typed up a couple of long posts.
But you could ask again sometime.
