Hello, Mr. Weisman. Back again.

Something that bugged me a little when I was watching "High Noon" and "The Price"; in both episodes, Goliath wonders how Macbeth could have escaped from the Weird Sisters (of course, Macbeth didn't actually escape, but that's neither here nor there with regards to my point).

Anyway, my question is this: did it never occur to Goliath that the Weird Sisters might have just let Macbeth go? After all, he doesn't really know anything about the Sisters at this point; they're almost entirely an unknown quantity. Did he think that they'd keep Macbeth and Demona prisoner indefinitely (that isn't rhetorical; I really do want to know)?

Thank you for your time, sir. Have a nice day.

Greg responds...

I don't know about indefinitely, but the Sisters didn't take them casually, hence Goliath's response.

You responded "Why would she want Garfield dead?" to Ben Wes's question "Why Queen Bee did not kill Garfield right after Marie was killed?". Well, the same reason, revenge on Miss Martian. So was there a motivation for Queen Bee to kill Marie beyond revenge?

Greg responds...

Revenge at one's own expense doesn't make a lot of sense. The heroes are viewed as assets by the Light. Chess pieces that one doesn't sacrifice without cause.

As to whether there was a secondary reason for Queen Bee to kill Marie Logan -- NO SPOILERS.

Hi Greg. I have a question about female heroes in the YJ universe, I hope it doesn't venture into spoiler territory.

The Team had a solid male-female ratio. The League considerably less, with 3/16 and later 5/25. Wonder Woman even mentions this inbalance in "Agendas".

My question is: what was the ratio in the JSA/A-SS? Wonder Woman was a member, as was "Firebrand", but were there any female heroes operating at the time? Obviously, there was no Black Canary yet in this timeline, but were there any other women? Or was it mainly a boys' club?

Greg responds...

There were other women, but both the JSA and the A-SS were primarily boys' clubs.

Progress, I'm afraid, is slow. But as you noted, the Team was considerably better balanced. So progress has been made.

Hello Greg Weisman this is Christopher Rosa and I have another question for you,

1. I was wondering before you start work on Star Wars Rebels were you a Star Wars fan, did you watch the movies, the tv series, and the now non canon books, and if so does that influential you in writing Star Wars Rebels?

Greg responds...

1. I was a huge fan of the original two movies and of the galaxy far, far away, in general. I had seen the other movies and a handful of episodes of Clone Wars, and I had read Splinter of the Mind's Eye. But I was not familiar with most of the expanded universe. But Episodes IV and V were my major influence for Rebels, which suited Lucasfilm just fine.

Since Sony still has the film rights to Spider-Man, could they make a direct to video Spectacular Spider-Man movie? Or would it have to be theatrical? Or could it only be a live-action movie still set in the same universe? Or are they not allowed to do any of this?

Greg responds...

Marvel has the animation rights to Spider-Man. Beyond that, I'm not privy to what they've agreed on between the two companies.

Why is it that Rebels is including so many characters from the movies in the show? The pilot featured Obi-Wan Kenobi, Droids in Distress featured R2D2 and C3PO as well as Bail Organa, and the trailer for Season 1 showed Luminara? Is this supposed to be a fun little nod to the movies or way of getting views? Ex. tune in to next week's Rebels episode to see R2D2 and C3PO.

Greg responds...

All of the above - but MOSTLY it's because (a) it's one cohesive universe, so it makes sense to include familiar characters where appropriate and (b) how cool was it for us to get to work with Artoo, Threepio and Antony Daniels?!

Hello Greg this is Christopher Rosa I have some questions for you,

1. I remember reading you saying that there are no original characters in Spectacular Spider-Man, that got me thinking, I remember in episode Reaction there other cheerleaders appear with Liz and Sally, one with light brown hair, another with black hair who was black, and finally one I think with brown or black hair, are these background characters base on canon characters, or are they nameless characters you just made, and if there are not nameless I like to hear there names?

2. I was wondering if you have a change to continued Spectacular Spider-Man, would you change any plans you had in 2009, like there are new supporting characters, villains, and allis Spider-Man has now that did exist, example L. Thompson Lincoln now has a daughter, Im not looking for a spoiler answer and I hope this is not a spoiler question but if you do start up Spectacular Spider-Man again would you consider using a character that did not exist in 2009?

Greg responds...

1. They were probably nameless, but I don't recall.

2. Yes, I'd consider it.
