Do you ever whistle just for the fun of it?
Yes.
Hey Greg, I thought I'd bring up a paradox I thought of regarding YJ, not to criticize the show (I loved the show) but just for fun:
Okay so let's suppose for the sake of discussion that Impulse went back into the past solely to prevent Blue Beetle from going rogue (whether or not this was his only reason remains to be seen). So the reach fails their plan and everything is good. But, we know impulse went back into the past from a dystopic future to prevent said future from ever happening. Now let's say Impulse is able to stop the future from happening. Regardless of whether he can go back to the future or not, the timeline is altered so that the future was never dystopic to begin with, not giving Impulse any reason to go into the past in the first place. What happens to the Impulse already in the past, does he "cease?" The rabbit hole goes deeper. With the future altered, Impulse doesn't go into the past to begin with. So there's no Impulse in the past to fix the dystopic future. So the future becomes dystopic again. So the universe is indetermined. It's in a superposition of states: Dystopic future or happy future. Impulse having to go into the past or not. This is simply a rewording of the grandfather paradox by the way. Let's suppose time travel is possible in the first place (it's not, it's forbidden by the second law of thermodynamics), the ramifications on the universe could be immense, or there could be none at all depending on how the The Young Justice universe works. Just wanted your thoughts on this. Thanks!
Yeah, I've explored all this in detail. The workings of Time Travel in the DC Universe don't suit my preferences. I prefer the way we did time travel in the Gargoyles Universe. But the way I see it for YJ, is that in essence, Bart came back, and his coming back, split off Earth-16 as a parallel universe. So Bart came back from - in essence - another time line.
Hello Greg,
As of Jan. 2017, have you heard anything regarding new comics or anything to do with Gargoyles?
Thanks,
Jaycob
No. Not as of April 2017 either.
I'd like to offer an apology.
As you may recall, I was the one who asked why you are no longer working on Rebels. I wouldn't ask someone in real-life why they are no longer working at such-and-such a place, so I shouldn't ask questions like that in an online forum either. I hope that you will accept my apology and won't hold my rudeness against me if we ever meet in person. Believe it or not, I am usually considered a very polite person. I will try in the future to remember that there is an actual person responding to our questions and not a machine.
Now, how old is Zatanna? :)
1. No worries. Honestly.
2. She was 14 during season one.

Okay.
Mr. Greg Weisman,
In "Young Justice," was "Diana Prince" the name that Wonder Woman used only as a "human" secret identity? Was Wonder Woman also ever addressed as "Diana of Themyscira" by herself or other people at any point in time?
The premise of your question assumes facts not in evidence, and I'm not going to spoil stuff.
Hello Greg!
I recently watched the first two season of YJ and purchased the first 2 collections of the YJ comics. I really loved them, good luck on season 3, and if the sales are good enough on the continuation of YJ comic series.
But I have some questions too:
1.) One of my friends told me that he once read an issue called "Face your Fears". But I'm unable to find it anywhere, and it's not part of the collections. Is it still available somewhere? Is that a canon issue too?
2.) We know that both Jay and KF were slower than Barry.. but who is the faster one between Jay and KF? (Jay'speed in his prime, and Wally's speed as of Season 2)
Thank you for your time
1. That was a giveaway. I think it was written to be canon, but I don't have a copy of it either, which makes it tough for me to include it as canon sometimes... mostly because I keep forgetting that it existed.
2. They were close to even, but I'd tend to give Wally the edge because of modern training methods.
Hey Greg,
Thanks for answering my Dracula and Malefic questions.
You've often talked about incorporating various characters and concepts from mythology, folklore or the public domain into the Gargoyles Universe. E.G. Dracula, Prospero & Jean Valjean.
But are there any characters or concepts from the PD that you'd legally be allowed use in the GU, but would rule out for thematic or aesthetic reason?
Probably. But nothing comes to mind.
hello:
in spectacular spider-man tv series. did norman knows peter is spider-man like the comics?
He said he didn't. Do you believe him?
I'm asking this due to the fact that you're no longer working on Star Wars Rebels.
Where should fans of Star Wars Rebels go to ask questions about thing post season 1?
Personally I want to ask about The Bendu
Don't know. Sorry. Check with Lucasfilm, I guess.
Hi !
I want to know, when did Artemis knew she had a niece?
After Roy found out.
I've been wondering for a while now; do you have full creative freedom over Young Justice season 3 or is there some restrictions and/or lines that you can't explicitly cross?
Yes. And yes.
Hey greg,Just a few questions.
1: What character in Young Justice do you think you're most like?
2: What is your 2 favorite episodes out of the first two seasons of YJ?(one from each)
3: What's your favorite part of being in charge/creator of the show?
1. Lucas Carr. He sounds like me.
2. Misplaced. Maybe Summit. But I like 'em all.
3. CO-in charge. CO-creator. Couldn't do it without Brandon Vietti, and my favorite part is collaborating with him and the rest of our amazing cast and crew. (My favorite part of the process is the sound mix.)
hello,
rephrasing the question, How did you manage to relate to Spider-Man/Peter Parker? that I asked you earlier. I actually wanted to ask you what traits of Spider-Man/Peter Parker's character do you find that you have within yourself?
He worries about money.
He worries about girls. (I don't do that anymore. Happily married for over twenty years, but I haven't forgotten what that was like.)
He worries about letting down the people in his life.
He worries about stopping super-villains. (Um... well, actually, I do worry about that. Though maybe that's not time well spent.)
Mr. Weisman,
In the "Young Justice" why was the name "Justice League" chosen for the team of heroes, as opposed to naming themselves the "Justice League of America"?
Because not all the heroes were American, and because it was an international organization with a United Nations Charter.
What's Owen's middle name?
What makes you think he has one?
But probably Robin. Maybe. Or maybe not.
Hey, I have a few questions about the upcoming new episodes of YJ that occurred to me (logistical, not going to ask you what it's about obviously).
1. How far (if at all) did you guys get into the planning/writing of S3 before production ended? Had you gotten as far as writing scripts/breaking episodes or was it just sort of general ideas?
2. Do you still plan to move forward more or less with what you came up with during the first round of production or have things sort of morphed in the intervening years?
3. You've said before that you would sort of ideally never end a series definitively (given that life rarely has complete closure, that makes sense to me on a creative level). That being said, is there a particular number of YJ seasons you have roughly planned out, if not fully plotted/outlined (Joss Whedon for instance has said that he originally planned 5-7 seasons for Firefly)?
4. If yes, what is that number (if you're willing to reveal)?
1. Just general ideas. We did NOT start season three until November of 2016.
2. Both.
3. We had about five when we started. But we keep coming up with more ideas. So we probably still have about five (over and above what we've already done).
4. See above.
What is your opinion on Green Lantern (2011)?
I personally think it's average compared to the dislike of many people.
I think common sense dictates that I not answer this question.
Hello
i was wondering how do the zeta tubes know where to transport someone because they just walk into it without saying where or entering a destination from what I've read and heard?
They do enter a destination.
1. Regarding Alfred's work as a butler. What are his work hours and conditions? He's obviously not a regular butler, as he's not only there whenever Bruce needs him (and all that history of his parents' death), but he's also helping Batman. So, even with all that said, does Alfred live a pretty regular life, considering?
2. How long has James Gordon been on the police force?
1. No. Nothing at all like a regular life.
2. I haven't done that math.
It's not a question but thank u for the work on young justice it's put me through hard times thank u so much I can't wait for season 3
You're very welcome. We're excited for it too.
Hey, YJ questions (so psyched that it's coming back! I really love your adaptation of the DCU)
1. In the universe of Earth-16 (or whatever earth it is now), do Kryptonians age at the same rate as humans? Like, are their life spans comparable?
2. Is the Martian civilization capable of intersteller travel? Could a bioship like Miss Martian's travel between star systems or are they pretty much just planet hoppers?
3. Can Kryptonians and humans produce offspring? It's sort of gone back and forth in the comics whether they're biologically compatible in that way and I'm curious about your thoughts on it (I won't ask if that WILL happen, so I hope it doesn't count as a spoiler).
Thanks so much!
1. More or less.
2. The Bio-Ship isn't light speed capable. In theory, it could travel between star systems, but it would take a LONG time.
3. Answering the question at all amounts to a potential spoiler.
Hey, Greg,I've got to tell you something, Josh Keaton, the voice of Spider-Man in Spectacular Spider-Man reprised the character in the Marvel Super Hero Squad video games and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, And he was going to reprise his role in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, But he was replaced by Drake Bell from Ultimate Spider-Man.
What do you think of this?
I think Josh is great, and my ideal Spider-Man. So I'm happy whenever he gets to do anything (but especially Spider-Man).
Does the Team attend college? What do they study and when and where do they attend? What jobs are they pursuing if any?
I've answered this already. Please check the archives. If I've left someone out that you're curious about, you can submit the question with regards to specific individuals. Although, keep in mind, I won't give spoilers.
While Garfield is transformed into animal form, is he susceptible to Queen Bee's pheromone powers?
Probably not.
