Hello, Greg! Quick question for you -- is part of Demona's hatred towards Elisa because she is jealous of her being with Goliath? I have a good example to support this -- in "The Mirror", Demona wanted Puck to get rid of Elisa. Puck showed Demona an image of Goliath in the mirror and said, "How quaint, after all these centuries you're still carrying a torch. Well, if that's what you want I can make him love you again. Piece of cake, given your charming personality." (Demona does still love Goliath!!) Demona never denied that she still had feelings for Goliath. Then, Elisa came into the picture. Demona immediately then said, "rid me of that human, Elisa Maza!" It's because she was jealous because Elisa took Demona's Goliath, right? Please let me know! Thanks! :)

Greg responds...

Yes. Clearly. Although it's not that simple.

Elisa also proves or rather disproves Demona's theory that all humans are evil destroyers of the Gargoyle race. Demona's semi-fragile -- or at least ultra-calcified -- psyche can abide that thought.
