EZRIE BELIT writes...

Can you put some info about episodes "The Journey" and "Hunter's Moon"? I never saw those episodes.

Greg responds...

Uh, I guess so, though it seems to me that there are faster ways to get this "info" than waiting over two months for me to respond.

SPOILERS

"Hunter's Moon" was a three-parter. It introduced the modern-day decendents of the Canmore Clan, revealing that they were still hunting Gargoyles and Demona specifically. Demona meanwhile, was trying to destroy the human race using magic she had stolen centuries earlier. The Gargoyles and Elisa were in the middle of this costly conflict. Angela was nearly killed. Elisa briefly acquired a new romantic interest. The clock tower was destroyed. And Goliath was consumed by a very Demona-like need for vengeance. In the end, humanity was saved. One of the Canmores was arrested. Another was left a paraplegic. The third went nuts. Demona escaped. The gargoyles were caught on tape and revealed to the world. Xanatos invited them to return to the castle.

"The Journey" picks up shortly after the end of "Hunter's Moon". Goliath is bumming that humanity still has it in for the Gargs. A new threat has surfaced: THE QUARRYMEN. Led by John Castaway, this group is determined to wipe gargoyles off the map. Goliath goes to see Elisa. He's injured, and he and Elisa are forced to cross the city atop rooftops, while the Quarrymen pursue. One Quarryman, VINNIE (from "Vendettas") has a change of heart and holds Castaway off long enough for Goliath and Elisa to triumph.
